"Yeah, well, i'm running out of options here." Juliette peeked through the door, catching a glimpse of Chris Argent setting up the equipment. "You don't think it's Argent, do you? To get revenge for Allison—?"

"Alright, that's it." Stiles clapped his hands together, moving her into the storage room and closing the door behind him. "Hey." He waved a hand to Argent, and walked past the stacks of files left messily on the floor. "Did you message the Benefactor about Scott yet?"

Argent motioned to his laptop. "Just did."

Juliette read the message aloud. "Scott McCall dead. Payment requested. That's it?"

"I said he's dead, what else do you want?"

"Well, it's a little dry." Stiles commented. "You should've said something like target has been neutralised. You know?"

"Checkmate on the king." Juliette encouraged.

"The crow flies at midnight." Stiles added. "That's always cool."

The laptop beeped, notifying them on the Benefactor's response. Visual confirmation required. Juliette watched as Stiles rushed to the keyboard, then stepped back sheepishly when the two perceived his alacrity. Argent gave him a nod of permission. "Type this, visual confirmation isn't possible as police are coming to claim body in forty minutes."

She peered at the computer screen, in which the Benefactor replied with the same statement. "Tell them that number one on the list is dead, I killed him," Argent huffed, agitated. "And if the wire transfer isn't completed in thirty minutes,"

"I'll take it from here." Juliette pressed on the keyboard, typing out; Then i'm coming after you.

     "See, now that is cool."

JULIETTE HAD ALWAYS BEEN ASTONISHED of how easily people could fall asleep. Like they weren't burdened with the constant voice of suffering and indignation, having to constantly block out the sound of their own guilt and blame. Fascinated that they could so easily rest their head on a pillow and be in peace. Which lead her into contemplating how death felt like— a constant and continuous sleep, or would it be a series of numb paralysation.

Maybe sleep was far from death. Or perhaps, there wasn't much of a difference. What bothered her most was that in thirty minutes, when Scott wakes up, she could find out. "Security cameras, check." Kira bobbed her head. "So now we wait."

Gaping at the three laptops open with the security cameras on screen, she nudged Stiles when one of the cameras turned black. "Is it supposed to be like that?" Liam asked.

"No..." Stiles pursed his lips. "It's in the roof, one of us will have to go check it out."

"I'll go." Kira volunteered.

"Woah, woah, woah." The amplifier tugged on Kira's sleeve before she could leave. "This might not just be a malfunction, there could be something there."

Kira slid the case off her sword. "Which is why i'm bringing this."

"I'm coming with you!" Liam rushed after her as she rushed the room.
