Destined to be Together

I couldn't sleep last night because of what I did.
I was literally looking like a zombie this morning. Unfortunately I had to go to college today so I got up from my bed and started getting ready.

After getting dressed, I ate my breakfast and drove towards the college.

Ohh god, how was I gonna face Henry?!

I entered the college and went straight towards the class as the class was about to start.

I entered the classroom and saw Henry sitting on the last bench and eyes looking reddish. As I looked around, I found rose sitting on another bench

Where should I sit...

If I sat with Henry, that would be awkward and if I sat with Rose, she will ask me why was I so sleepy? What were you doing at night that you didn't sleep? And I am not in a mood to answer all these questions, besides there is no chance that I can lie as she will come to know in seconds.

I have to forget what happened last night cause I don't want to make it more awkward.

I sat with him and he stared at me for some time and then looked away without saying anything.

The professor entered the class and started his lecture. I usually don't sleep in the lectures but today I was very sleepy so I couldn't help it.

I kept my head on the table as I slept. I woke up after 10 minutes by the shouting of the stupid professor. I looked beside me to find him sleeping too. As we were sitting on the last bench no one could spot us.

The classes went one by one and we slept in all. The whole class was looking at us as if we were creatures from another world.

And talking about me and Henry, we both didn't talk much. There wasn't much awkwardness between us as almost all the time we both were sleeping.

As I was coming out of the college I saw Rose coming towards me.

"Hey babe." she said and gave me a hug.

"Will you join us for dinner tonight?" dinner? Ofcourse I will. But whom is she referring by Us?

"Yeah sure. But who all will be there?"
"Me, John , You and Henry." she said as if it was really obvious. I thought for a while after hearing Henry's name but then made up my mind.

"Ok. Text me the address and time. I will surely come." I said and gave her a final goodbye and drove towards my house. I was glad that she didn't question about today.

I came home and after freshening up sat down to read my book.

It was almost the time and I was still getting ready to go. John was with Rose and Henry was at home. So according to the plan we both had to go together.

After getting ready I came down to find him standing outside his house, gazing at the stars which were visible by now.

He was standing in not-so-fancy clothes but still looking breathtaking. His hair were well gelled and he was standing there, checking his phone.

Omg Daisy....Stop checking him out!!...

I moved my eyes from him and started to walk towards my car and opened the door car door. As I looked beside, I found him sitting already. I started the car and there was an awkward silence surrounding us again.

"Hey." he said surprisingly.
"Hey." I replied

"Um...Let's not make it more awkward." he said looking at me with a small smile.
"Yeah." I said looking at him.
