Standing where the tree once stood was Rowena and Crowley.
Feeling more anxious by the minute, Dean crossed his arms, demanding,
"Explain. Now."
"Oh, testy, testy. One would think you'd be happy to see us since we, oh I don't know, saved your ass!" Crowley growled.
"Now now, boys." Rowena said looking between them trying to diffuse the situation before it got worse.
"Auntie Ro!" Savannah cried in excitement. She ran towards Rowena wrapping her arms around her legs.
Rowena smiled at the child and patted her on her head.
"Hello, dear." Rowena smiled. "You did such a great job at following the directions I gave you. I'm so proud of you."
She looked back to Sam and Dean,
"Now, shall we have some tea and I'll explain everything." She smiled waiting for one of them to cave.
"This isn't exactly our home." Sam told her.
"Oh but isn't it." She said as more of a statement than a question.
Raven raised her eyebrow and gave Rowena a questioning glare.
"Are you telling me that they..." She looked down to Savannah. "... This is all fake?" she hesitantly asked.
"Lord no. They are definitely real." Rowena stated.
Raven let out a sigh of relief that Dean couldn't help but notice.
"Then what are you getting at, Rowena." Castiel asked sounding surprisingly annoyed.
Sam and Dean both side-eyed Castiel; picking up on his obvious state of annoyance.
"Savannah, dear, does your mommy know I'm here yet?" Rowena asked the little girl.
"No but daddy said you'd be here soon." She replied.
With those words Rowena elegantly stride towards the cabin with everyone else following close behind.
As Julie was serving Rowena hot tea as Buck was pulling more chairs out of a closet and unfolding for everyone to sit in. Crowley opted to stand off to the side with his hands folded in front of his waist.
"So, while everyone was hashing out a plan of attack I had to step out for a moment to round up the forces of Hell. While I was doing that, I astral projected in on Chuck and Amara. Amara was desperately trying to talk Chuck down. She truly didn't want all of existence to end. It appears that her heart had softened towards humans. One in particular." She grinned as she looked over to Dean.
Dean shifted uncomfortably under her gaze.
"Continue." He said unamused.
"Well, as I was saying, she didn't want our existence to end. When Chuck walked away from her, I watched her make a knife appear and tuck it into her boot. She sensed my presence and called me out. I made myself known to her, asking the obvious question. 'Why are you helping him if you don't agree with him?' Her only response was, 'he's my brother.' During a short conversation she explained to me that things would end, there was no getting around it. Earth was doomed. She showed me the knife she created. The handle was beautiful. Gold and silver with engravings of sigils I had never seen before. She told me that I had to allow things to play out. That it was detrimental for things to play out if there would be any hope of restarting again. She said the only one's able to touch the knife were the ones who would use it. And the only one capable of killing Chuck would be able to use it on him."
