The Omega sighed as he walked into his apartment, Katsumi held snuggly to his chest, swaddled up in a soft blanket covered in small cloud designs. He smiled down at the sleeping baby in his arms, slowly lowering himself to sit on the couch while his mother carried in his bags. She let out a breath, propping the items against the wall and sliding off her sweater before taking a seat beside the grinning male. She sweetly moved a curl out of his face, scooting closer to stare down at the tiny bundle of joy sleeping peacefully in her dam's embrace. "Do you think I should tell him?" Izuku whispered, listening to his pup's sleepy purrs. He kissed her forehead, standing to set her in her bassinet before returning back to his mother's side. Inko knee exactly who she was referring to.

"Do you want to tell him?" She answered softly, holding her coffee cup in her hands as she reached out to touch his shoulder. When he never responded, she lovingly cupped his face with her warm hand and smiled. "Honey, he hurt you. You owe him nothing, you hear me? You can tell him if you want to, but Katsumi is yours, not his," she said sternly, yet Izuku could hear the love in her voice. His mother only wanted the best for him and his pup.

"Okay," he said breathlessly, rushing forward to wrap his arms around her, nuzzling his face in her neck. They stayed like that for a while, until the sound his daughter crying in the other room drew his attention.

"Katsuki?" The blond turned to see his best friend, holding a beer in his right hand as he smiled. "Want one?" He grinned, sharp teeth completely on display. The Alpha stared at the drink being offered to him, before taking it with a sigh.

"Oh, fuck it!" He grumbled, snapping open the can and taking a long gulp of the alcoholic beverage. Sure, he was underage. He shouldn't be drinking. But goddamn, it's his graduation, he could have a little fun. He swung his head back, chugging the rest of the drink and crushing the empty can before tossing it into the garbage.

"Woah, slow down. Don't want to get drunk yet, do you?" Eijirou chuckled, digging one hand into his pocket and slumping into one of the chairs beside them. Katsuki stared at him for a few moments with a blank expression, then snapped his gaze away to glance around the room and see what everyone else was doing. It wasn't a big party, just class A was invited, but that didn't stop anyone from having fun. The students were all divided in their own groups, some dancing, some chatting, some doing rather questionable activities. He didn't doubt that someone was going to end up having a one night stand. Every single person held some form of alcohol in their hand, even the class know-it-all rule follower, Iida. It was their night to cut loose. It was the start of their new lives. They all passed the hero course and they were going to become pros. But, even after all of that, knowing he had finally achieved his life goal, he couldn't help but not be happy about any of it.

It's been nine months since he's seen or heard from Izuku. He tried contacting him everyday, messaged his mom, and even resorted to asking his old folks if they knew his whereabouts. Nothing. Hours of searching, all for nothing. The Omega has disappeared without a trace, he didn't even speak to his old friends anymore. He frowned sadly, grabbing another beer from the cooler and snapping it open. God, he missed him. "Bro, you okay?" The red head asked, before the blond was growling at him, though he was completely unfazed. He was used to it.

"Fuck off," he snarled, walking away and swinging the door open to head out of the building. It was their last night here, and even though he should be packing up his room, he turned in the direction of the general studies dorms. No one had touched Izuku's room since he disappeared, and Katsuki couldn't help but go there whenever he started longing for him. Which was quite often. He tossed the empty beer can into the garbage — When had he even finished it? — and grabbed onto the familiar branch leading up to Izuku's old dorm. He climbed up, a bit shakily from the alcohol flowing through him, and slowly slid open the window. He was hit with the faint smell of his scent, a sad smile tugging at his lips. His pheromones were fading. He wouldn't be able to comfort himself by surrounding himself with his scent any longer. He sighed, grabbing the nearest pillow and shoving it against his face, plopping onto the bed. He held it lovingly to his chest, staring at the many items still scattered around the room. A wave of sadness washed over him as realization settled in his mind. He wouldn't be able to come here anymore. A single tear streamed down his cheek as he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath to get at least a small hint of the heavenly scent still barely in the room.

He tossed the pillow aside, grabbing onto a random shirt that had been left on the floor during Izuku's rush to leave, holding it up to his nose as he let himself cry into the fabric. It was his own fault, he knows that all too well. He's the reason Izuku left, he has to be. He doesn't know if he'll ever see the Omega he loves again because he was so fucking stupid and couldn't see how much he was hurting him. He growled at the thought of the greenette one day being with another Alpha, hands balling into fists as he held the fabric tightly. Slowly, he looked up, scanning over the messy dorm with tears still staining his cheeks. He stood, wiping his face with the back of his hand, and grabbed a bag out of the Omega's closet. He threw in several articles of clothing that the freckled male had left behind, followed by his leftover blankets and nesting materials. He grabbed some of his hero merchandise, a few notebooks, and anything else he could get his hands on. He threw the bag over his shoulder, sliding the window open and tossing the bag into a nearby bush before climbing down, not caring about how he left the window open. He had to keep something to remind himself of Izuku, and if that meant taking his old belongings from his dorm, then so be it. As he made it back to his dorm, he set the bag on the floor and fell backwards onto his bed, staring up at the ceiling with his hands behind his head.

He silently hoped that the Omega was safe and warm wherever he was, that he was eating well and was happy. That's all he wanted. He could live without the freckled boy, he had to. He had no idea where he was, and he had a sinking feeling that he'd never see him again. He let his eyes close as he covered his face with a nearby blanket, another stream of tears escaping his eyes. "I miss you, Izuku."
