Who Am I? | Haikyuu Zombie apocalypse AU | x Oc

3rd POV:
Her mother, her step-father, her sister, Yachi, Yui, Oikawa.
They all had died right infront of Nao and all she could do was watch and do nothing.

So when Goshiki, who she held onto just a secound ago and even gave a peck on the lips, was suddenly thrown into the zombie pit for god knows what reason, Nao's body moved on it own.

And there she sat now. In the corner of the gym, both their clothes torn and scratched all over their body, breathing erratically as Nao shielded Goshiki with her whole body, her arms stretched out so they only bite her and not Goshiki. While every Z in the hall bowed down to her.

The soldiers cheered, unable to contain their joy as Nao's dad smiled, reliefed both of them survived. He needed to know if what everyone was saying was actually true, even if it means to back his own daughter into a corner, literally.

Shirabu and Bokuto were released from a painful grip as both of them tried to to jump right after them. The soldiers letting go of Bokuto were especially reliefed, considering he need 4 to hold him down while Shurabu needed 2.

"N-Nao..." Goshiki got worried as he saw her silently cry. Slowly wrapping his arms around her he did his best in soothing her, feeling her heartbeat slowly decrease. "...were safe now, e-everything is okay, you can relax..."

"Thanks I just..." Her breathing got steady, quickly wiping away her tears, she covered her with bitemark infested arm with her sleeve. "...I thought you were gonna die and that just..."

The door to the gym got ripped open and a panting Kuroo awaited them, her dad right behind him and the rest waiting upstairs, not allowed down for their safety.

Both of them went in and closed the door behind them, Nao on the other hand went straight for her dad. Kuroo was about to stop her from doing something rash, but there was nothing he could do.

Holding onto his hand she looked up to him, about to cry again from anger.

"Dad. I need answers now."

Looking at his daughter for a few seconds he let out a bigh sigh.

"Check the boy for any injuries and bring the kids away from the zombies." He said turning to his men and back to Nao, finally giving in.

"Why are you here?! Why did you kidnap us?? What made you throw my friend down a goddamn zombie pit?!! Do you know how many people have died cause of these people, so why are you with them??" She asked with a cracking voice, standing in a empty hospital-like-room, looking like she was gonna cry again.

"Woahh, when'd you become such a crybaby? I remember you running around with a gun, happy you could use it and didn't even cry when you shot yourself in the foot." He joked, only to get glared at even more.

"I was 6 then, answer the questions, dad."

Letting out yet another sigh, he finally got serious as he straightened his posture. "I'm here cause it's what I signed for, it's my job. I took you here cause you're my daughter and you're part of what we've created. I threw him down there cause I had to know if you really do have zombie powers, I'm aware it was extrem but the only way to find out was by backing you against the wall and yes Nao, I do know how many people we have killed but I'm with these people like it or not."

" 'what we created' huh? So you really are the reason of this pandemic... So.. What's your job about? Making zombies?" She asked carefully. "Last I remember you were still in the army compared to step-douche."

"Yeah well..." He sat down on one of the beds and Nao on the other. "...to make it short. I'm still a drill Sargeant and I love you, but..." he let out another sigh, staring into Nao's eyes. "...I won't be telling you my reason, for why I want half the world to rot away."
