  "where were you ?" asked Damien. "I was just curious about what they were saying," said Adrien shrugging. Before they knew it, it was dark. "we might as well go to our dormitories." said Jace. They walked up to their dormitories and sat close to the fire. ''so did you hear what they were saying?" asked Jace. "yea... talking about some dude named Nicolas Flamel. '' said Adrien while opening a book to study. ''So are you guys staying for Christmas break?'' asked Damien, trying to change the subject. '' I'm thinking about it..but I most likely will,'' said Adrien. '' I'm staying. this year some of my family members are staying at my house and I'd rather get a good night's sleep than hear everyone snoring'' said Jace. Adrien let out a giggle '' aww poor you'' she said as she laughed some more.

''it's not funny,'' said Jace in a cranky voice. ''You sure about that.'' said Damien. "whatever" replied Jace. After about an hour of joking around and making some small talk Adrien told them that she was going to head up and go to bed. "night" said Damien and Jace in sync. ''so why do you think they were talking about the Nicholas Flamel guy?" Damien asked Jace. "I'm not sure...there up to something and I think we should find out," Jace replied in a serious tone.

It was the next morning and all three of them were walking down the hall. "Oh my goodness I am so sorry for bumping into you! I wasn't paying attention," said Adrien as she picked up her books. "You're not going to help me pick up my books?" said someone in a rude voice. "Maybe if you weren't so rude I would." Adrien snapped back. He let out a laugh and said "I'm Draco...Draco Malfoy". "I'm Adrien..now if you'll excuse me I need to get to class," said Adrien as she started walking. Jace and Damien quickly followed. "That was weird," said Jace. as they walked to potions.

"Hello...today we will be in partners..." said snape in his usual silk-like voice. "Let's do...Jace and Damien." Adrien saw Jace and Damien look at each other with a smile. "Adrien and Draco". Adrien let out a quiet grown as Damien gave her the "sorry" look. "Sooo we meet again," said Draco with a sly smile. "Let's just read the lesson," replied Adrien with an annoyed look on her face. As they read the chapter Adrien became quite fond of him. "You know you're not that annoying.." said Adrien while looking up at Draco. "I just realized how short you are," said Draco and let out a small laugh. "Oh piss off," said Adrien. "You know...you're really serious," said Draco. "I'll take that as a compliment," replied Adrien. "Everyone is free to go." said Snape as the "booming belle rang.
