"Gladly." Alex smirked, winking as he pulled away from the kiss making you giggle slightly. That just made both Jack and Dan gag. You didn't know why, but all you could think about was Alex. Nothing else. You couldn't concentrate on anything or care about anything. All you cared about was the raven haired gryffindor boy, and the lust that engulfed your mind.

The three of them talked and laughed about their day as you just had your undivided attention on him, occasionally kissing his cheek and hugging him. Anyone could tell he was obviously enjoying the attention he was getting.

"What did Riddle want with you earlier?" He asked looking down at you as your head was nuzzled into his chest.

"Something about a Christmas party Slughorn's hosting." You replied, playing with a lock of his hair, twirling it around your finger.

"I see. I'll pick you up when it starts then, owl me the details." You didn't even question him inviting himself. You just smiled widely agreeing and kissed him again.

A week had passed and it was finally the day of the christmas party, you weren't much for parties or dresses in general, but the thought of going to an event like this with Alex filled you with excitement. You had previously gone to hogsmeade to get a dress for the event. You didn't want to be too overdressed, yet you couldn't be too casual either. Geez, social convention dictates you always have to do one thing but not too little or much of it, life sucks sometimes.

You were sat in potions staring dreamily at Alex from across the class, not fully paying attention to what Slughorn was saying, You felt someone nudge you and turned your attention reluctantly to Tom who was looking to the front of the class obviously sensing where you were staring. You just rolled your eyes and looked towards Slughorn trying to listen to his lecture.

He set everybody the task of creating a forgetfulness potion which you already knew fulwell how to make as it was fairly easy.

"I'll get the ingredients." You told Tom as you walked over to the shelves. You began to gather some valerian sprigs when someone turned you around. You became face to face with Alex. You smirked and gave him a quick kiss before being scolded by Slughorn. To be honest you didn't know whether he was more upset about the fact you kissed someone during his lesson, or the fact it wasn't Tom as he obviously wanted the two of you to get together and combine your skills. He probably wanted to imagine just how brilliant your child would be and knowing him, he'd wait till they also attended Hogwarts and enroll them in the slug club as well assuming they even had half the wit both you and Tom possessed.

You walked back to your seat and handed Tom the ingredients.

"What took so long?" He asked, taking the ingredients from you. After you didn't answer he looked over to you and saw you once again looking at Alex. He was getting angry now. He himself had never been in love, but even he knew this wasn't natural, you don't just suddenly become infatuated by someone and ignore everything happening around you. He decided to keep a closer eye on you as he was sure something else was going on, but he wasn't sure what, which was unusual for him as he always knew everything.

"Ah, Miss L/N. I'm assuming Mr Riddle told you about the Christmas party I will be hosting tonight?" Slughorn asked as the class was packing up. You nodded looking around for Alex and left without another word leaving Slughorn to look at Tom confused, he just shrugged and apologized for you, leaving as well.

It was finally the time for you to leave and meet up with Alex to go to the party, putting on your dress and leaving your dorm room not bothering to answer the confused looks your roommates were giving you.

You walked out the common room and spotted Alex leant up against the brick wall like the last time you had met him. You looked at him in adoration. He was so attractive, you just wanted to grab his face and kiss him then and there.
