"TN said the weather is supposed to be nice for the next few days," exclaimed Eden. The VIKING's main ramp was down, and the members were carefully descending it to the landing platform below.

"None of us have really seen beaches before right?" asked Pavel. "Back home, there are a few lakes, but not many oceans. Pa always said the ocean was dangerous back home, so we never went to it."

"I grew up going to beaches," said Carson.

The suns were bright in the sky, and the air was heavy with a salty aroma. It was somehow comforting, despite being something so new for each of them. They hailed a taxi service which brought them to the beach, the Orbs hovering closely behind watching their every movement.

"I wonder how long it will be until people start to recognize us from the show?" wondered Carson out loud.

Kaito was looking at the view of the ocean, lost in their own thoughts. It was mid day, and the beach was relatively empty of other people. They passed by shops, and larger buildings, each of them thought about the different souvenirs they could bring back to the VIKING.

The cab stopped in a small lot near a restaurant, and Pavel was the first to exit. He spun around, taking in the sights. "What should we do?" He was excited, more than he had been about anything in a while.

"Do we want to split up and sort of meet back later?" suggested Eden.

"I would love to go find some new clothes today," said Kaito.

Carson turned to Pavel, "Do you want to get some lunch?"

"Sure, I'm hungry. Want to join us, Luis?"

Luis seemed unaware that anyone was talking. He had an air of sadness surrounding him as he watched the waves sweep onto the sand.

"Central Command to Luis," robotically called Eden while waving her hand near his face, "Come in Luis."

"Oh," he snapped into the conversation, "sorry, I was distracted."

"You've been quiet since we landed."

"I'm just thinking about a lot of stuff," he sighed. "What are we doing?"

"I think we're going to split up," Carson said carefully, "Pavel and I are going to get lunch. I think Eden and Kaito are going shopping. Do you want to join us?"

"Nah," he said while kicking a pebble near his feet, "I think I'm going to go lay on the sand. I haven't been to a beach in a long time, and I'm sort of missing home right now."

Eden was somehow relived that Luis wanted to be alone. She certainly did not want him to spend the day with her and Kaito. "Well, sounds like we all have a plan. I think we should meet back here around 1800? There's a cute restaurant over there, we can all have dinner?"

"Sounds good to me," said Pavel with a smile. He grabbed Carson's arm and began leading him away, "Shall we?"

"Lead on, good sir," he laughed. "See you all later, stay out of trouble!"

"That's supposed to be Luis' line," shouted Eden.

Luis began walking toward the waterfront, not paying attention to anything that the other members were doing. In his head, ideas were bounding in every which direction. It was always a dream of his, as a child, to see the Empire, and he could do it all at no cost. On the other hand, his ultimate dream was to become an actor, and this show would only be a temporary offering.
