True Prophecy (Lloyd x Reader)

Child's Play

We had been showing Nya what we have been taught for hours, it started to get boring. We were all getting tired and decided to go to bed. I went to my room and fell asleep real quick.

I woke up to something shaking me. When I opened my eyes I saw that it was Lloyd. "Lloyd? What are you doing waking me up this early?" I asked him. He pulled out his comic book of Starfarer, I looked at him confused. "I'm gonna try and sneak out to go get the latest comic, do you wanna reread this with me before going to go get it with me?" He asked.

I smiled at him and gave him a big hug. "Of course! I love the comic!" I told him. "Alright, see you out on the training deck" Lloyd said as he left the room. I quickly got up and got dressed as fast as I possibly could.

I ran to the kitchen to grab a quick bite to eat. "Zane and them should be back already, I can grab a small something that Zane made and then head over to Lloyd and read the comic book with him" I thought to myself as I ran down the hall of the bounty.

When I got to the kitchen I saw that Nya and Sensei were the only people in the kitchen. "Where is Zane? And the others?" I asked them. "They are still out fighting Garmadon probably" Nya told me. I shrugged it off, grabbed a bagel and left. When I met up with Lloyd we started reading the comic book.

Hours have passed since the ninja had left, there was still no sign of them. Lloyd and I were still reading the comic book. It was taking much longer because we were starting to be sneaky and read it without anyone seeing, it didn't help that Wu and Nya kept coming to check on us. Lloyd and I didn't like it at all.

"Ah. They should be back by now" Nya said, a hint of worry in her voice. "Oh, I fear something horrible has happened to them" Wu claimed. Lloyd and I were reading when we heard his Uncle call us.

We switched the comic book for the ninja weapon book, that way it looked like we were studying. "You two are in charge of the Bounty, while Nya and I have a look around town" Wu said. "Uh...yeah, sure thing" Lloyd said as I looked at the book intensely. Wu then walked away and left with Nya.

Lloyd and I turned back to continue to read the comic book. "Ok, Fritz Donnegan. Looks like it's just you, Lloyd, me and the Imperial Sludge" I said out loud to no one.

After we had finished our comic we started to play some video games on the bridge. It was really fun. Lloyd and I kept getting ties. He would win, then I would win. It went back and forth.

Lloyd's p.o.v.

We were playing video games for hours when we heard the phone go off. "(y/n), can you answer that?" I asked her. "You answer it, you're closer" she told me.

I was reaching for the phone, struggling to answer it. I was trying to focus on the game. After it rang a few times I grabbed the phone, but then dropped it. "Destiny's Bounty" Lloyd answered. "Lloyd! (y/n)! It's Jay! Let me talk to Sensei!" Jay told us eagerly.

"Jay? Where are you? Why haven't you returned?" I asked. "Sensei is out looking for you" (y/n) yelled to the phone. "Ah! Apparently you need parental permission to take the bus and we can't seem to get out of the city" Jay told us. "Ah. What?" I said in confusion.

Jay was getting annoyed. "Never mind, it's a bit complicated. Just, meet us at Buddy's Pizza in ten minutes. And bring weapons" Jay demanded and then hung up the phone. "What do you think that was all about?" (y/n) asked. "How should I know" I told her.

We turned the game off and got up from our seats. "Let's go get the weapons" I told her. (y/n) nodded her head.

(y/n) and I ran over to the cabinet that held all the weapons. I grabbed the sword and scythe while (y/n) grabbed the nunchucks and shuriken's. Once we had them in our possession we headed out.
