The Best of Wings of Fire!

I Judge a book by the cover, most of the time, the ones I find that have epic covers aren't very appealing, and the ones with not-so-attractive covers turn out to be awesome! (Teachers read, or make me read the dreary-cover books and they better than I thought!) SO............
I was walking into a school book fair in 5th grade, ya know, to see if there were any AWESOME books. I glided slowly across the floor, slipping my fingers across the picture books, world record books and grossest ever: True or False books stacked neatly among the table. I could feel the Grossest Ever books' bumpy covers. I glanced down to see a picture of a snake slithering slowly through a mans mouth, and squeezing out his nose. I gagged at the very sight of is grossness, looking away, but still thought it was cool, so looked back at it. ( I am like that, I get squeamish are on gross stuff, but I like to look at it, but not touch it. Ya know what I am saying...)

I soon swept over to the books behind me, and filed past them to take a peek. They were all books for the Kindergarten and First grade classes (Dora and Barbie and Buddy the dog books) so I was quickly urged on by the lack of interest.

As I quickly moved over to the middle of the room, Where diaries with locks and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Avengers picture books were placed. And suddenly my blue eyes glowed like the sun in miraculous awe! There on the top of the metal book shelf, in a special case of its own was WINGS OF FIRE; The Dragonet Prophecy!!!!! It's case signaled it was the featured Book this book fair! The cardboard case seemed to pulse in a radiant blue light, as if saying, " Come to me, I am AWESOME!"

As my hand slowly reached for the beauty bestowed in front of me, I said quietly out loud, " I am not judging by the cover, I just want to look at it." And it gorgeously awesome DRAGON on the front!!!! I began to skim through the prologue, when Hvitur is sneaking away with the SkyWing egg, and I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't have any money with at that time, so I had to wait.

The suspense was killing me, but on the Thursday of that week, there was only TWO left, and I got the one right in front! I loved that I got it, because my life got a whole lot more awesome, all because of one EPICLY AWESOME BOOK!!!!
