Punk began to "separate" in the late '70s and other forms of the punk subculture came out that have their own fashion, style, and political views.
Punk influenced most (i want to say all) other subcultures.
Zines, and wheatpastes were very popular in the punk subculture and are still in use today by punks and many others. (they might have invented them but i'm not sure)
