So let me just start you off from the beginning. So my mom left for a mandatory work trip and would be gone for 5-6 days and since I'm old enough she left me here with my brother. Of course I thought I was super responsible and nothing should go wrong while I'm in charge but let me put emphasis on the word thought. So how did this happen you may ask...well it all started with me coming home from practice late and I just parked my car next to the garage since it was dark already. So then the next day was a Saturday and usually my brother usually has his friends over from nextdoor and they do crazy trickshots (I think you can tell where this is going) and I was outside on the porch reading my book until I hear my brother talking to his friends while he's on the top floor of our house so I tell him to come back down with his friends and he says he would after he makes this crazy shot and goes viral. BUT THEN IT HAPPENED...he turns around backwards to shoot and drops the ball right on my windshield. Evreybody started freaking out and I just froze. I knew I couldn't call mom because she would want to come home and we'd be grounded for sure. So I came up with a plan but I knew I was going to need some extra hands, so I made all of my brothers friends help me since nobody had the money to replace it. So the boys were going to have a yard sale, a car wash, and anything else they could do. While I became the matchmaker for the singles in my grade and my bestfriend decided to help us by teaching all the new dances and shuffles to kids who wanted to learn. We also did a chore pour where we would all do as many chores for money as we could. By the time the boys finished half of those chores and our school profits we had almost all of the money, and I made sure to check in with mom everyday so she wouldn't worry too much. Evreybody was so happy when it was time for the appointment to get it fixed, but then two days later when my mom came home she told me that she knew the windshield was broke since the car was under her name they had to her notify her...but since she was so impressed with how we managed to get the amount we needed before she had came home she would shrink the time we were grounded which is still a win in my books!
