3rd Person POV
..........It wasn't a future the Priest foresaw for himself.
He who had hated Saiyan's so much because of the past was now raising one.
Goku was a Saiyan in all form. At just 3 years old he was already a violent creature. Just like all Saiyans. Yet the priest couldn't dismiss him. Right now this Saiyan child had awoken from a power no one understood.
So he had to raise him well.
In any case something were to happen.
But despite the frustrations, the Saiyan child warmed up to Zeno pretty quickly. They would play together. The Saiyan's were intelligence at a young age. Even though Goku was a child he somehow could determine which planets he'd destroy in the game of chess Zeno used to play.
It was quite the sight to see the Omni king so happy.
He acted like a big brother teaching the Saiyan various things the child didn't understand.
Maybe this Saiyan child wouldn't be so bad to keep around.
....
The priest felt a tug on his pant as he was again busy designing structures and colour palates of new independent planets and planetary systems alike.
At the current moment he was stuck in trying to find an attribute that'd link the planets of the system Citri.
He looked down at Goku who held up an orange and a lemon from the planet Earth. The priest hummed in confusion at what the child meant. The Saiyan didn't usually speak to him so he had to find a way to communicate with words.
It was quite the first time the Saiyan came to him.
"Citri" the Saiyan spoke and the priest was momentarily stunned. Goku spoke to....to him?
Well could this be counted as speaking?
"I don't understand...do you perhaps want more fruit?" The priest asked. The Saiyan shook his head. He raised the two fruits once more in his tiny hands.
"Citri"
That was the name of the planetary system he was working on and was struggling. He momentarily took time to think what the child was saying.
And it striked him.
"Incredible Goku that's genius!" The priest smiled widely as he ruffled the Saiyan's spiky hair.
He swore he saw something somewhat a small blush.
Maybe the little Saiyan liked praise.
The Grand Priest retreated his hand and came back to the planetary canvas.
"Do you perhaps want to paint with me?" The priest asked and Goku hesitantly nodded. He was then picked up and nestled on the priests lap.
A sense of deja Vu washed over the priest ss he gave the Saiyan a brush and different colours of orange and yellow.
It was as if it was back then. When life was .... Simple? Well almost so.
The priest held the Saiyan's hand as he guided him in making swirls in the atmosphere and smaller details in the land and water. They were single word exchanges from Goku and in other parts they'd both stop to consider if lemon juice was clear, slightly yellow or yellow so as to compliment the colours of the planets.
When they were done the priest patted the Saiyan's head.
"It is good. Good work Goku"
"Good work Dai-Dai" The young Saiyan repeated, a smile gracing his lips.
Daishinkan couldn't help but feel it was a good choice to keep Goku.
.......................
"Ease your mind Goku. Relax."
Goku (was standing on one of his legs, on his tippy toe, on top of a hovering pebble, while the gravity was raised much higher then usual. The grand priest's training was always so difficult. And difficult is just and understatement.
"Think of nothing"
.
.
."A person who thinks all the time....has nothing to think of except thoughts....and losses touch wi--" as Goku was reciting those words he received a smack on the head from the grand priest, making him tumble down to the ground. "Ouch!"
"Stop being a smartass. You remind me so much of Kusu" the priest sighs remembering how difficult Kusu was when she was younger.
"The oldest of your children?" Goku asked rubbing his head.
"The third oldest" the priest corrects. He sees Goku's confusion. "It's not something I wish to discuss."
"Ah... fine...."
"Get up we're done for today"
............
Goku wore his Omni attire with pride as he walked to the very human kitchen the grand priest created for him. In fact a part of the Omni palace was created to be more human for Goku because he wished to experience a semblance of what could have been.
He sat down on the barstool and placed his Romeo and Juliet book aside. Zeno was eating moonstroodles, tentacles of a beast found in Universe 4. The grand priest was nowhere to be seen.
"Brother. How is training so far?" Zeno asked with his mouth full. Goku took a napkin and wiped his brother's mouth off the mess.
"I'm failing. Miserably. I cannot fathom how to control this Omni power. Everytime I try I just end up going ultra instinct. Honestly I don't think Dai knows what he is doing," Goku sighs. Through the years there was an amazing phenomenon, Zeno who had been stuck childlike for eons was starting to grow. He was growing along with Goku.
"He probably doesn't. It's the first time he teaches a being about Omni Energy" Zeno replies.
"Then how about you?"
"I was created with it. Plus. I'm not a fighter. I do not have your Saiyan instincts to wish to be stronger"
"Do not refer to me as that"
"You are still mortal whether you like it or not"
"Zeno I'm warning you"
"Just like the grand priest I am a being that doesn't know his original, you see. You on the other hand d--"
Goku slams his book on the kitchen island before storming out.
He was NOT mortal
