59. Unsure Thoughts

"A couple nights ago, I saw Tzuyu unnie again." Y/N softly said. The girls all looked at her in worry, especially Shuhua who was really close friends with Tzuyu herself. They all also knew of her and Y/N's date and how it ended.

"What happened?" Shuhua asked.

"I... I don't know, it's just still confusing." Y/N says as she scratches the back of her head. "She said she really does love me and that me ignoring her was something that she disliked."

"See I told you!" Minnie said before elbowing Yuqi. "You shouldn't have suggested that!"

"I thought it would've made Y/N seem hard to get okay! I'm sorry!" Yuqi apologized as she tried to block Minnie's attacks. After the two's actions calmed down, Yuqi looked at Y/N. "What happened after that?"

"She..." Y/N groaned as she rubs her forehead. "She was trying to say something, something that seemed important to her."

"Like?" Soojin spoke.

"That's the thing, I don't know." Y/N huffed out. "She was trying to tell me something but couldn't because she kept stuttering. Next thing you know all the girls show up and my manager unnie. She ended up not telling me. I even had to reschedule Nayeon unnie and I's supposed hang out the next day because I got so frustrated with my thoughts that I overslept and Mika had to watch me because I had a small fever."

"You're not sick now are you?!" Soojin asked worriedly before going to feel Y/N's forehead to check. Y/N laughed in return and shakes her head.

"No I'm fine now, Mika made me some soup and all." Y/N replied.

"Thank god." Soyeon says. "But really, it was that bad?"

"Well yeah, I just can't shake off the fact that something is up now that Tzuyu unnie basically was trying to say something to me that was important that night."

"Let's stop talking about this, you seem gloomy." Miyeon immediately tried to change the topic as she sees Y/N's lips curve down. She didn't like seeing her dongsaeng sad.

"How about I cook then?" Soojin suggests. "Besides, I don't think I've even cooked for you yet." She says to Y/N.

"Food?!" Shuhua's ears perked up as she looks up at Soojin like a cat. "I need food!"

"All right then it's settled." Yuqi said with a clap. "Let's all cook for Y/N!"

"Who said you were gonna help me cook?" Soojin says. "You suck at it."

"Excuse you! I can cook!" Yuqi said jokingly offended.

"She's not wrong, for someone who's smart you even mess up eggs by putting too much salt." Soyeon added.

"That was one time!" Yuqi argued. The living suddenly turned into a loud and lively debate between the girls as Soojin just gets away and into the kitchen to cook. Y/N looked at the girls and laughed.

"Yup, just another day with (G)I-dle." Y/N thought to herself.

"You did what?!" Twice shouted at their leader. Jihyo stood in the middle of the room with a shrug as her members stared at her in shock as they sat down on the couches. It was their group meeting day, same as ones they hold every other week, to let out whatever was bothering them or getting to them.

"I broke up with Daniel." Jihyo said once more with her arms crossed.

"But why?" asked Jeongyeon in worry. "You said you were really happy with him."

"I was." Jihyo sighed out. Rubbing the back of her neck, the woman looked down at the wooden floor. "But we've been so busy recently, and Daniel has been having his own things being done that we haven't really gotten to see one another in a while, and my feelings just aren't there as it was when we first got together. I do care for him, but I don't think I could say I love him as much as I thought I had."

"I mean, I get that, sometimes feelings just go away." Chaeyoung says. "It's normal, when did you start feeling like this?"

Jihyo looks at the girls and gives an awkward smile. "When we agreed to the bet..."

"What?!" Nayeon says and she gets up from her seat. "Are you saying what we think you're saying?!" Not only was Nayeon shocked, but she still didn't get to have her chance with the girl. After scolding Tzuyu in almost revealing their plot, Nayeon became sad when Y/N messaged her not long later asking to reschedule, but she understood it and said she will.

Jihyo smirked as she raised her chin up in confidence. "It's exactly what I am saying."

"I'm in."
