That Special Someone~ (Dazai x Reader)

You let out a giggle and leaned back in your chair, loosely holding onto your empty wine glass.

"More, more!" you waved your glass around to show that you wanted more wine. Chuuya poured the very last of the bottle in your glass, not even filling it halfway. You downed it in an instant, holding your glass out again.

"I don't think you should have anymore wine." he said with a smile. It didn't take a lot to get you drunk, seeing as how the wine was strong. Chuuya wasn't too affected by it, though he was getting there.

"Just one more." you begged, pouting.

"You sure 3 glasses isn't enough for you?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm sure. I wanna try a different wine now!" you exclaimed. Chuuya set his glass down and grabbed the empty wine bottle.

"Okay, come with me." he left his room with you following close behind.

"Hey, Chuuya, remember when we stayed here together? And I woke up and you were cuddling me~" you said, giggling as you walked the hall.

"There's no way that happened. We never cuddled." he insisted, a blush on his face.

"We did! It was soooo nice." you said.

"Sure." he responded, entering his kitchen and setting the empty wine bottle on the counter. He went into his pantry and opened a tall hutch, revealing several different wines. You approached the hutch and gasped.

"Ooh, that one!"

"I don't think you'll like that one. I don't even really like it." he looked over the different kinds until he pulled one out from the bottom. "This one is sweeter, and not as strong." he showed it to you.

"Fine with me." you said, smiling. Your cheeks were bright red, and everything seemed to be funnier than it was now that you were drunk. Another couple of glasses and you probably wouldn't be able to stand properly. 

After arriving back at the room, Chuuya opened the bottle with a corkscrew and poured some into both of your glasses. You smelled it before drinking it, enjoying the savory taste that was much better than the previous wine. Chuuya smiled at you when you weren't looking, happy to see that you were in such a good mood.

You finished your glass and reached forward, poking Chuuya's cheek. "Your skin is soft~" He swatted you away.

"Quit being weird." he insisted, a small smile on his face.

"But, it is!" you gazed at him for a moment, and it became harder for either of you to look away. "I'm really thankful you saved me. Who knows what that creep would've done." you shrugged, your cheeks still bright red.

"I think I have an idea." he said scornfully, looking to the side. You set your glass down and plopped yourself in his lap, earning a large blush from him.

"W-What're you-"

"Shhh." you placed a finger on his lips, closing your eyes. "Just stay quiet for a minute." you both stayed silent, and Chuuya didn't know whether to feel awkward or relaxed. He finally removed your finger from his lips and spoke.

"I think I should get to sleep. We both have a mission tomorrow." he slid you off his lap and took the empty wine glasses. You stood there, watching him gather everything and leave for the kitchen. You followed, unsure if you did something wrong. Right now, all you could think about was him.

You watched as he put the glasses in the sink and sealed the wine bottle. You smiled and approached him from behind while he washed the glasses. You wrapped your arms around his waist, resting your cheek against his back.

"Chuuya~" you called. He didn't say anything. You drunkenly planted a small kiss on his back.

"Get off of me!" he turned and shoved you away, causing you to grip the island counter for support. You stared at him with shock and confusion. 

"What did I-"

"Just be quiet." he huffed, moving past you and heading back to his room. You stayed there, still processing what just happened. You felt a small pang in your heart as his footsteps receded. You were silent as you tried to think of what could have possibly gone wrong. You swallowed and exhaled a shaky breath, trying to come to your senses. It was hard because of how much you drank.

You entered his room and saw him gathering a few loose items and putting them away. He kept his back to you, not even acknowledging your presence. You knocked on his wall to show that you were there and forced a smile.

"Getting sleepy? I know I am-"

"Can you just stop? I have shouldn't have asked you to come here. Grab your things so I can call you a taxi." he huffed without looking at you.

"Chuuya...did I do something..?" you asked, hurt in your voice. He didn't say anything. You made a frown, your cheeks red from the alcohol in your system. "I asked you a question. Don't get all huffy with me for no reason." He sighed, lowering his head.

"It's just...weird." he mumbled.

"Weird? What's weird?" you asked, coming closer. He was quiet until you approached him. He turned around and met your gaze.

"I want to be with you, Y/n." he said, his cheeks fiery red. You kept quiet, waiting to hear more. He scratched the back of his neck. "But, I know you're in love with Dazai...and I guess I'm okay with that. I came to terms with it long ago.." He shook his head and sighed. "But, it's getting harder to control my feelings. I enjoy our times together, really."

"Chuuya, I-"

"It's my fault. Like I said, I should never have asked you to come here. I should've known something like this was gonna happen." He finally met your gaze again. "I'm not going to take advantage of you or put you in an awkward position. Don't worry, you don't have to choose between anyone. I'll still be here for you, no matter what.." he trailed off, aimlessly folding with some of the clothes on his bed.

You stayed silent, not sure how to react. After a very awkward moment of silence, you spoke.

"I'm not so sure Dazai loves me anymore...and my feelings about him are conflicted."

Chuuya stayed silent. You got closer and placed a hand on his shoulder, causing him to slowly turn around and look you in the eyes once again.

"Thank you." you said, searching his blue orbs.

"For what?" he asked, his voice quiet.

"For telling me the truth." you found yourself leaning closer to him, and before you knew it, your lips were on his.
