Saathiyaa (Completed)

Continuing from the last part...

Bela :

Mahir came inside and looking at me he came and sat beside me worriedly.

Mahir - Bela what happened? Are you fine?

Bela - I'm fine.. can I.. I..

Mahir - you can ask anything Bela, you don't need to hesitate with me..

Bela - can I sleep on your lap again like afternoon?

I asked coz when I slept before I indeed had a peaceful sleep. I always felt solace near him but I was never ready to accept my feelings only coz I was married, and when I knew that I was married to him only I no more wanna resist my new feelings.

He stayed silent and making me lie on his lap and started pressing my head understanding that I was having headache. I slowly fell asleep.

After a few hours I opened my eyes and saw I'm still lying on his lap. I slowly got up and made him lie properly and I again slept hugging him through his waist.

Next morning I wokeup and saw mahir was still sleeping, he indeed was looking cute while sleeping. I don't know why but I just kissed his forehead and with my touch he slowly opened his eyes.

Bela - good morning

Mahir - good morning.. but I'm sorry, I din't know when I..

Bela - I only made you lie beside me..
Actually you were sleeping sitting so I made you lie and I slept beside you..

He just nodded but I knew he's happy for what I did last night.

Mahir :

In the evening I asked everyone to come to the living room except Bela coz she doesn't know anything happening around now.

Yuvi - what happened Bhai? You called everyone here..

Before I could answer someone came inside. Everyone were confused of who is it but Pragathi was shocked to see him.

Mahir - maa he's raghbir, Pragathi's boyfriend.. me and pragathi signed the divorce papers yesterday and I spoke to raghbir about everything and he's ready to marry pragathi now..

( Don't ask me who's raghbir, you can image anyone 😅)

Pragathi - but mahir, dad..

Before she could continue Mr. Raichand also came inside along with his wife coz I was the one to call him here.

Mr. Raichand - but I don't accept this marriage mahir.. raghbir is an orphan and I don't want my daughter to marry an orphan who doesn't have a family..

Bela - then why don't we adopt raghbir maa?

I heard Bela from the stairs, everyone were shocked when Bela addressed mom as maa instead of aunty which she usually does.

Sumi - Bela?

Bela - haan maa, why don't we adopt raghbir? Then both raghbir and Pragathi will stay here only and even pragathi would have her family..

Mr. Raichand - you? I have seen you somewhere..

Sumi - yes Bela is right, we will adopt raghbir and both will stay here only Mr. Raichand

Mahir - I hope you are fine with this..?

Bela - he should be mahir.. nothing would change expect for the fact that she would be pragathi malhotra instead of pragathi Sehgal..

Mr. Raichand - ok if this the case then I have no issues with pragathi marrying raghbir.. but what about you mahir?

I looked at Bela who was already looking at me and this time I felt something different in her eyes.

Bela - will you marry me again Mr. Mahir Sehgal?

Shock would be an understatement for me, did she just asked me to marry her?

Bela - first time when we got married I was very confused of my feelings and I wasn't happy with my decision..
Second time I dint even know that I was marring you coz I thought it was vikrant besind me.. and when everything was fine that accident..
I wanna marry you again mahir, and this time I'll never leave you.. will you marry me?

Mahir - Bela you.. you remember everything?

She nodded in yes and immediately she wrapped her arms around me keeping her head near my chest. We were just sobbing in eachother's arms and I let the pain of loosing her for two damm years out.

I backed off and cupped her face and United her forehead with mine to calm down our emotions.

Bela - Rehan!

She uttered and turned around and found him already crying, she went and hugged him and was crying her heart out. She hugged Vish and everyone else too.

At last she came near pragathi and she hugged her too. I was confused at this, I understood that Bela knew pragathi being my wife and how could she hug her?

Bela - thank you.. thanks you pragathi, if you weren't there probably I wouldn't have my family again..

Pragathi - they all are lucky to have you Bela..

Mahir - but Bela when did you remember all this?

She told me how she saw our photo when she was leaving the house that day and when she sent me to bring ice-cream how she searched my cubord and found our photo and how she heard mine and pragathi's conversation that day.

Bela - and today I was thinking all this and again my head started aching badly and I.. I suddenly remembered everything

She said while sobbing in between and I pulled her again into a hug.

Mahir - shh Bela, don't cry now everything will be fine..

She backed off and nodded smiling.

Sumi - good then, after years I again saw mahir smiling genuinely and I want you four to marry soon..

Rehan - maa I don't wanna wait long.. let's do it today only

Sumi - no Rehan, I'll talk to pandit ji.. and we shall do it soon..

Pragathi - maa I don't want any grand wedding for me..

Raghbir - yes aunty, I'll be happy if we can just marry in some temple..

Bela - haa maa.. mine and mahir's also, we already married grandly two times.. third time let us make it simple..

She said chuckling.

Sumi - ok as you all say.. and raghbir you can call me maa, you are after all my son now

He smiled and we all shared a group hug.
