4:00 pm Portland, Oregon. Your parents house

You decided to go to your parents house for the weekend to see them because you did miss him, and hopefully get better. It had been two days since you got home and you would be leaving tomorrow. You were in your old room going through pictures of yourself when you were younger an pictures of your family. your mom was sitting on the chair by your desk.

"so" she started to say shuffling through pictures "how is you and your boyfriend" she said looking at you and smiling a bit

"Who? dream?" you said blushing a bit still looking through pictures sitting on your bed "hes not my boyfriend, i like him and were supposed to go on a date but i don't know how he feels"

"you just said you guys were going on a date" your mom said confused.

"yea but it could be just a friendly thing or he couldn't feel as strong of feelings as i do" you said a sighed "i just don't wanna ruin what we have you know"

"y/n" you mom said sighing "I've talked to clay once and i can already tell how much he likes you"

"wait when did you talk to him" you said, confused looking at her.

"he called me and your dad when you were in the hospital, we even went down there for a couple days but we had to leave before you woke up" your mom said setting the pictures down "clay was so hurt that entire time, no one knew if you would live or not and he didn't know what to do with himself. he stayed in that hospital room with you everyday" she continued "y/n clay cares for you more than you know and you need to realize that because he could be everything your looking for"

You looked over at your mom, she had picked the pictures back up and started shuffling through them "Maybe she was right" you thought to yourself "i had pushed all the feelings that i had away in fear that i would get hurt, maybe he does feel the same way"

The days passed as you hangout with your parents and your brothers, soon the day came when you had to leave back to Texas, dream was already back home and you couldn't wait to see him,  you were going to tell him how you felt and go on your date. You boarded the plane and waved goodbye to your family as you found your seat and sat down. It was only a couple months ago you were here on your way to see Sapnap.

Soon you woke up from your sleep and the plane was landing.

DREAMS POV

"Sap you brought the blanket from the house right" I asked still setting up the fairy lights.

y/n would be here in a about a hour. I wanted to suprise her with our date already set up and ready when she got here. It was down at a park a little bit of a walk away, her and sapnap went to alot when they were kids. So I wanted to remind her of good old memories. we were setting up a pinic near the little area on the top of a hill to watch the sunset.

"way this one right" sapnap said walking up to me and handing me the blanket.

"Yea the fluffy gray one, y/n's favorite" I said taking it from sapnaps hands "thanks"

We found a nice spot to put some lights up and a couple blankets around. It was gunna be amazing, she was supposed to be here soon.
