The broken and breaking (A Draco x Ron fanfic)

A/N ayeee guess who just got cleared to go back to the real world...ME! Also while I had covid I started reading Game Thrones and its actually good although y'all don't care thought I'd tell you lol. Anyways here ya go!

-Ron's PoV-

"Ok so here is what i was thinking." I seem to have Draco's full attention, good. "I think that I should start off with the speaking because well we both know how much Dumbledore favorites Gryffindors over any other house especially Slytherin. I will speak of how allowing both of us to go since we are both from big family's and have large impacts on our house and could possible bring them together add in a whole bunch more horse shit. Then all you have to do is nod agree and we both know that Dumbledore will not be convinced if only I talk so then you will say that I will be good for two pure blood wizards to go to America and learn about how their system is different and all the smarty things and then we should have him. The only thing is we have to get to him right away when we get there otherwise some kids could take the idea." As I finish this very long explanation of a plan just waiting for the usual insults and shut drown that usually follow whenever I have an idea.

And just like that I feel sick remember everything that everyone who i've ever known has said after I come up with my shitty ideas or input my useless knowledge. I might be preparing for it but honestly I don't think i can take a lot more of it. All these degreating thoughts enter my mind I feel my eyes close shut and some shaking.

I seem to not be able to get out of my mind, falling deeper and deeper into the black hole of thoughts. That's is until I hear Draco speak words smooth like butter.

"Ron, please it's an amazing idea please just hmm." And like that I' m embraced in the what must be the warmest arms ever. As he holds me and whispers good nothings I cant help but feel safe, as though when I'm in his arms nothing can harm me.

The feeling was short lived though as the train so came to a stop. Soon after came the removal of his arms. I look up and notice he, well he is shaking he looks absolutely terrified. Although I don't blame him since we are going to go confront Dumbledore, if we both don't seem strong then we will have to stay here all year. So i go up to him and grab his hand and give it a squeeze. Such a simple act seems to calm him down a lot.

As we wonder though the halls of the school in search of Dumbledore before the feast something comes to my mind, well more like someone.

I think about the fact that I haven't seen Harry or Mione since I arrived. Normally this I would think this a good thing but right now for all I know their speaking to Dumbledore.

My thoughts get interrupted by a slight jab in the side by Draco, and i look up and see Dumbledore looking looking at the both of us, well both of our hands.

"Hello boys can I help you with something?" Dumbledore speaks with that tone.

"Oh well professor we wanted to speak with you about the transfer student program." I pause to give him a chance to say something before I would continue.

"Ah yes no one actually has spoken to me about going this year so if you boys would like to then I will allow you."

"YES." I might have kinda shouted at Dumbledore in a bit of an enthusiastic manor heh.

"What I think Ron meant was yes we would love to go." Draco ends up covering for me ana's my not the most politeness oops.

"Alright then boys come with me and we will announce your leaving to the school and then send you on your way. You see Illvermorny starts tomorrow morning so you will head over tonight to do the sorting and get a tour." Wow this went surprisingly well.

-*Time skippppppppppp*-

We are standing at the berry front of the Great Hall beside Dumbledore and to say everyone is starring would be a nice way to put it. Me and Draco are still holding hands and my family along with Harry seem extremely confused. Hermione on the other hand looks beyond pissed. Like hun what did you expect bitch.

Dumbledore continues with all his normal things with us standing there extremely awkuardly. Finally after a long agonizing hour of him talking he starts speaking of the Illvermorny exchange.

"-and I have personally selected two of the best students of our school to go over to Illvermorny, and I would like for everyone to wish them a Hogwarts farwell as they leave this evening. Now you may eat." Everyone starts talking and eating and Dumbledore informs us that we are should leave now.

A/N sry guys this took longer than expected but i'm having a harder time trying to portray Ron's character and do his Pov so his chapters might take a little longer. Hope y'all liked it <3
