"Princess! Please wake up we have much to do" Mayu whispered lightly tapping the you, who was still sleeping.

"Urghhh...whyyy it's so early" You groaned, pushing her hand off the shoulder she passed.

"Miss, It's your coming of age ceremony today, we need to get you ready!" She pleaded "Please princess...while the sun hasn't risen yet."

"Coming of...age?" You mumbled opening your eyes "MY COMING OF AGE CEREMONY" You repeated springing off your bed looking around.

"Mayu! It's today!? Why didn't- why didn't you tell me?" You whined gettimg off the bed.

"I just d- nevermind. Follow me for your bath please" Mayu lightly tapped your back

"My bath? I can take a bath myself" You stated.

"Princess as much as i love your independent spirit, i ask that you let us do our job today. Alright?"

"Us? Our?"

"That's right, you'll be in our care today" She smirked opening the washroom door to reveal 4 more maids in the washoom.

"Uh..Good-morning- AH!" She was dragged into the washroom swiftly.

A little while later you found yourself in a large tub filled with various soaps flower petals and essential oils that Mayu said; Would make you glow throughout the day. 3 maids scrubbed your arms and legs, Mayu, washed your hair and another rinsed the soap off you.

"I still don't see the need for you 5 to bathe me" you complained as Mayu poured another bowl of warm water over your head making your hair stick to your face "you did that on purpose didn't you?" You grumbled making Mayu snicker.

"Oh did i? I apologise." She chuckled "Now, Princess wrap this cloth around you" she said handing you a large cotton cloth.

You used it as a towel as they guided you to the small station they assembled in your washroom. They sat you down.

"What's going on?"

"We have to do your nails" Another maid answered.

"Nails my nails are fi-" you brought your fingers close to your face and you saw dirt under your nails. "Ugh fine.."

"So Princess you know what today means" A maid winked.

"Sachiko! Stop you'll make her nervous"  Mira smacked her collegue.

"Well i think it's a good thing" Akari shrugged.

"Just tell her" Mayu demanded "I'm sure she's excited about it"

"I wonder how many will ask for your hand today" Sae winked.

"My hand?"

"Well- coming of age, it means you're officially allowed to court. Usually all the males of the Kingdom start making their moves on the coming of age ceremonies" Akari explained.
