If Only You Could've Stayed

Dear Freddie,

I told you not to fight in The Battle of Hogwarts because I knew something bad would happen. I was right. As I sat beside you as you took your last breath the only thing I could think of was how stupid I was to let you fight.  Everyday it gets harder and harder to go on without your precious smile to keep me going. Your brother tries to make me feel as if you're still here but its not the same. He misses you like crazy, we all do. I miss all the memories we made while at Hogwarts and the ones we made when we weren't. It's like a piece of me died the second your final breath left your body. I wish you could've stayed. You don't know how many times I have sat in your office in the shop unable to catch my breath as I am crying too much because you just aren't here. Or maybe you do know as you're watching us from heaven or something like that. Molly tries to make it seem like you aren't gone but we can see she is still grieving. I just really want you here. I can still remember the day we first met like it was yesterday....
