Y/N's POV
"You fat ass! You can't do anything right!" My mother yells at me for the third time today. The first time, it was because I didn't set my alarm and woke up 30 minutes late for school. The second time was because 'I didn't fold her shirt the way she liked it'. And now she's yelling at me because I have B- in my science class.
She slaps me across the face and leaves my room. I sit on my bed, holding my left cheek while crying a little. 'I'm so fucking done.' I think to myself.
Timeskip to 10:00 pm
I waited for about 4 hours and took out an old notebook. I wrote, 'To whom it may concern, I'm sorry for always being a burden for most of the people in my life. I know that none of you want to see me anymore so I will leave, for good. Love, (Y/N).'
Just as I got done writing it my older sister came in my room and leaned against the door. "What the hell are you doing?" She asked, but not in a mean way, you see, my sister and I have been getting along for about 5 months now. She really does care about me and feels bad about the way our mom treats me.
"Um..." She sighed. "You're leaving, aren't you?" She looked at me with sad eyes. "Yes." I said looking her in the eyes. " But you know that I will always love you right? You're my big sister and you will always be my big sister." I stood in front of her and hugged her. "I'm sorry, but I have to do this." I said pulling away. "It's okay." She says smiling at me.
"Thank you. I couldn't have asked for a better sister." I say. She nods her head and goes back to her room.
I put the note on my bed and quietly walked out the back door, carrying a backpack and suitcase. I had this planned for about a year now. My best friend, (B/F/S), has helped me plan everything out. She has also been going through a lot with her family. Since I just turned 18 about 2 months ago, we could now carry out the plan. (B/F/S) and I are running away, well, more like flying away.
I saved up a bunch of money from my old job, which was Walmart. I started working there when I was 16, so I have about $50,000. (yes I looked that up) I have so much because I don't have to pay rent or bills, so yeah.
I walked for about 45 minutes and I finally made it to the airport. "Hey, (Y/N)!" I turn my head to the right and she (B/F/S) standing there with her luggage. I walk to her and say, "So, this is it." She nods her head. We both walk in the airport and went through security and we are now seated in the plane.
