Quick Authors note:
There is going to be a time skip between the last chapter and this chapter. It's been about 1 month since the last chapter and they're  really getting their nation started.

Ally POV

We were all gathered around a table in a little van Will had built. Everyone who had wanted to join l'manburg was here. Tommy, will, Tubbo, fundy, Eret and me. Niki had wanted to join but her parents said she had to stay for a little while because they were worried about what the kingdom would do if they found out about us. When they found out about us. We were all fine with it, will even saying that we would always have a spot for her.

We had even started to build houses. Well they were more like those big square tents that you'd see at a circus. Huh, that's not a very good comparison to make. Tubbo and Tommy shared a house, Eret and fundy shared, i had one that had a spot for Niki when she joined, and will got his own. He was the oldest out of all of us and the leader so it made sense.

It has been a month since Phil and techno left. I've been trying to keep myself looking as happy as possible but everyone could tell techno and dad being gone was draining me. Will brought be out of my thoughts.

"Now that everyone is here and we have a good area,"

He gestured at the area around us through the window of our van. The country had big walls and a nice park in the middle. Along the walls were everyone's tents and in the middle of the whole nation was a big fire pit with logs around the sides. There was an outdoor kitchen type thing for making food and a building full of medical things. On the side of our wall that faced the dream smp, there was a big entrance gate.

"I think it's time we decide on a name."

"Ooh! What about Man."

We all laughed at Tommy's name. Tubbo threw in his input.

"No no I like that. Now let's find a end to the word like mantown or manopilus."

"What about manburg?"

"Ooh I like that will!"

Tommy really seemed to like wills name by the way he shouted. We all started laughing. Eret butted in next.

"Ally? Your the only non man here so you should get to add something to that to include you!"

"Hmmm what about allymanburg orrr maybe just l'manburg."

Everyone started laughing.

"L'manburg. That's perfect! Everyone! Welcome to L'manburg!"

We all cheered and will began to write our Declaration of Independence. When he began asking everyone their input, we all threw in some cheesy line or important rule, but I couldn't stop thinking about one thing. What will they do when they find out we made our own country? How will they react?

"Ally, will you please sign the book."

"Of course! Uhhh here."

I handed the book back to Will. A smile had never left my face but I was truly worried. About l'manburg about my family and friends and above all, about techno and dad. Where were they?

"Hey Alex, there is a box out back of our old house. Do you think you could run and grab me the stack of letters in there? I really need them so try your best to get them but don't die doing it."

Tommy grinned at me and I nodded.

"Ok see you in a bit Tommy!"

At that point everyone had already left the van, yet me and Tommy were still in there. I think we were both caught up in our thoughts so when will called him over and he noticed that I hadn't left either, he asked me to run his errand for him.

I walked out the door of the van and feeling a bit... uhh acrobatic? I jumped up on top of the van, using the windowsills to help as I pulled myself up. At the top of the van I could jump towards the walls and have a very short climb to the top so I did. I walked to the edge of the van furthest away from the wall, than started to run and jump, attaching myself to the wall like spider man. I began to climb. When I was only two handholds away from the top, I heard a voice call from behind me.

"ALEXIS WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

I sighed, it was Wilbur. I didn't turn around to talk to him, I just kept looking for another foot hold when I yelled back at him.

"Climbing the wall what does it look like?"

I replied in a much quieter and nicer tone, although he could still hear me. By the time he replied I was already pulling myself up to the top.

"Why?"

"Because I wanted to?"

He sighed, rolling his eyes slightly.

"Ok we'll just take the gate when your coming back in."

"Ok!"

I grabbed the water bucket from my bag and hopped down, landing in the water. Then I began to run. I wasn't running to get away faster but just because I hadn't left the walls in weeks and it felt nice to run around.

As I approached our house I thought I heard someone talking inside. I just assumed it was Niki so I walked in.

"Hello?"

"Who do we have here?"

I looked at where the voice was coming from. Standing there was definitely not Niki.

"What do you want dream?"

I spat back at him.

"To know why the hell your family along with Tubbo fundy and ERET disappeared off the face of the earth."

Shit. I had dug my self into a hole. I couldn't get out of this one.

"And I want to know now. Little Ally."

He said those last words with a smirk that could eat your soul.

Dream the soul eater. I shuddered at the thought.
