(Ima just jump right into the chapter... Enjoy though.)
A team needs everyone. Nevertheless, that wasn't the mindset in Tobio's mind. "I wish I could serve, spike, and set to myself." That was what Tobio had said. Now, he thought of it differently.
"Hey, Boke..." Tobio asked, walking down the same long way he had chosen on Friday, "hmmm?" was what he heard in response, Hinata had also chosen to walk down the same path; he sighed, "have you met your soulmate?"
Hinata looked at Kageyama and smiled. "Not yet, but I will soon."
Kageyama gave a soft "mmhh" and walked on, keeping his eyes on his shoes.
-Yesterday-
"Oikawa-san... can I go now?" Kageyama asked his old senpai, trying his best to look okay. His body wasn't aching as much, but his head was still throbbing, and he was shaking a bit.
"Aww... my Tobio-chan is leaving already?" Oikawa said, looking up from some manga that he was reading, he removed his glasses-
"My?" Tobio asked tilting his head, he was surprised, yet somehow managed to keep a blank face, the living room light illuminating his face in the hallway that led to the door.
"Wai- No! I- I didn't say that." Oikawa jumbled, his hands randomly shifting the pages of his manga.
"Mmmhhh..." Kageyama hummed; he had spent most of his day at Oikawa's house watching Oikawa go around, walking into the kitchen then suddenly muttering something to himself and walking back into the living room.
It still was intriguing to see Oikawa do things, his clumsiness and stupid "oops" expression were quite funny to watch, but Oikawa's glasses were the thing that made Tobio more interested, they complemented the brunette's personality a lot.
They did have one particular conversation though, "Oikawa-san. . . didn't you hate me?" Kageyama had asked, there was a pause until Oikawa had replied, "I told you, it's not like that," Oikawa looked at him and sighed, "you had asked me that question already, Tobio." Oikawa had removed the "chan" at the end, meaning he was serious.
He always felt as if he could break down at any moment and tell Oikawa everything. Tell him that he had forgiven him, didn't hold any grudges against him-
"You know you can talk to me right?" Oikawa asked, making Kageyama jump, Oikawa had a dumbfounded expression on his face as if he didn't know why he had said that, "ah! That came out wrong, sorry. I'm just saying that you can talk to me about things that you may need to talk about."
Saying that Oikawa gave him an umbrella in case it started raining again. "Thank you, Oikawa-san..." Kageyama said, softly.
Oikawa had caught on the line, "say whattt?? I couldn't hear you clearly."
Kageyama's usual scowl returned, "you know what I said," he grumbled, trying not to trip.
Oikawa shrugged and mimicked his frown, then started laughing, "we're going to win the practice match~ Tobio-chan~" saying that, the door to his house was shut; nevertheless, Kageyama, sighed and shifted his neck, and began walking home.
His headache and nausea had ceased once he reached home.
After fixing himself an onigiri and a glass of milk, he glanced at the clock, 7:55 p.m. After eating his short dinner, he took a quick shower and flopped himself on the bed. He didn't know when, or how, but he fell asleep quickly.
-present-
"KAGEYAMA!" Hinata yelled his name, he looked down to face Hinata, but this only triggered the orange-haired boy more.
