,,She's awake." I looked to my side and saw Hermione and Ron. Hermione looked at me with a grin on her face and I didn't realize, that she's holding my hand, until she squeezed it.

,,Why am I here?" I looked around and saw, that I was the only injured in the hospital wing. It was already dark outside, which means I must've been here for a while.

They exchanged looks and Hermione held my hand even tighter.

,,So, um. You- you passed out."

,,Why though?"

,,Because-" she let my hand go and looked frustrated at hers. ,,Because of Cedric."

As I heard his name, my chest got heavy. I remembered the event bit by bit. Me holding him in my arms, me screaming, me being broken as never before. The feeling I had was indescribable. I literally lost him, I lost him.

Tears were forming in my eyes and before I could help, they flew down my cheeks like a waterfall. I cupped my eyes with my hands and cried.

,,(Y/n)" Hermione stood up and sat on the corner of my bed, hugging me.

,,He- he", I sobbed into her shoulder ,,He is dead."

After what felt like hours of crying, I freed myself from her embrace and wiped away my tears.

,,Thank you for being there for me, Hermione." I smiled at her.

,,Always." She smiled back and someone cleared his throat.

,,I'm here too if you've noticed." Ron smiled and I nudged his arm jokingly.

,,Thanks to you, too" I smiled and he did either.

,,For how long have I been here?"

,,A few weeks"

,,A few weeks?!" I yelled in shock and my eyes widened.

,,Yes, at first Harry thought you were dead."

,,Oh, how friendly." I laughed, but still shocked.

,,It's nearly curfew, you two have to leave now." We heard Madame Pomfrey say from behind.

Ron sighed and got up and so did Hermione.

,,See you later, (y/n)" Hermione hugged me.

,,Yes, get well soon." Ron did either and they left.

They shut the door and I lay back, not knowing what to do. I have too much energy, I surely cannot sleep now. I mean, I slept for weeks.

,,Madame Pomfrey, could I- could I go outside and catch some fresh air?"

,,Dear, you know, that I can't let you go outside after curfew."

,,Please" I pouted.

,,No" she turned and left.

I sighed and lay in my bed for a few minutes, until I was too bored to follow the rules. I got up and put some slippers on. As I did so, I saw some flowers on my left. 'oh Hermione' I thought to myself, smiled and then left. I walked quietly down the corridors, making sure not to get caught.

The stars were visible in the sky and so was the moon. The beautiful moon. I sat on the grass and closed my eyes, enjoying the moment as memories passed by.

,,The lake is beautiful at night. I've never had the chance to bring you here, but now I have"
