Harry's POV

I woke up out of my sleep frantically panting from a nightmare I had about Jayda. She was falling off a cliff and I couldn't save her. Lately I haven't been able to save her and it's now haunting me in my dreams.

I dragged myself out of bed and into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth looking in the mirror at myself, It wasn't the same as it was when I was with Jayda. I hate this.

Once I was done, I went into the kitchen to see Mrs. Matthews sitting at the table with a cup of coffee.

"Hope you don't mind I used your coffee machine," she chuckled.

"Oh no it's okay, I rarely use it since I'm barely home," I smiled.

"I remember I used to be just as busy as you," she sighed looking off to the side.

"Oh really? How so?" I asked, taking a seat at the table.

"Well I never told Jayda and the kids this but I used to work on tour with Beyoncé. I was with her most of my early life as her ghost writer and backup dancer."

"What? You're kidding! You write music?" I yelled amazed.

"Well I wrote music," she laughed. "I was different back then, life was fun until I had kids and then responsibility's came."

"Wow," I blinked.

"I know, didn't think we would have some in common did you?" She joked.

"Not really besides how much we both care about Jayda," I smiled.

She gave me a warm smile that was genuine. I couldn't help but think of how Jayda wouldn't believe this, me and her mom having something in common. I couldn't help but feel special now that I knew something about Jayda's mom that Jayda didn't even know.

"Thank you Mrs. Matthews," I smiled.

"For what?"

"Telling me that story, accepting me and Jayda, coming here, just thank you."

"Aw Harry you're too kind, you're apart of her life now and she needs us, especially you."

"Of course."

"Now shall we go and see how she's doing?"

"Yes we shall, let me grab the keys," I said going into my room.

About 30 minutes later we pulled up to the hospital about the same time as the boys, well Louis and Niall. Apparently Liam and Zayn stayed back to take care of things and they were coming later.

We greeted each other and walked into the weary hospital. We took our seats in an enclosed waiting area. I sat in between Louis and Mrs. Matthews as we waited for the doctors.

"Family and friends of Jayda Matthews?" a nurse called out.

"Yes," we all said, standing up.

"Jayda is awake and she's quickly coming back to normal so that's a good thing," she smiled.

Little does she know Jayda will never be normal after this.

"We're allowing two people to go in and see her at a time."

Mrs. Matthews placed her hand on my shoulder, "Harry you go first, she needs to see you first."

"No, I'll go after you. It's okay."

"Harry, you're going first. No exceptions," she pointed.

"Harry, I'll go with you," Louis said.

I sighed in defeat. I have to get this over with sooner or later, I just need to relax and think positive.

"Okay," I finally said.

The nurse gave us a sly smile leading us into Jayda's room. It was room 12B down hall 2.

The nurse stepped aside gesturing towards the door. I stared at the wide doorknob shaking and gaining anxiety. Louis placed his hand on my back slightly calming me.

"We got this mate," he said, finally opening the door.

When Jayda was revealed her eyeballs immediately connected to mine. Me and Louis slowly walked walked in the room closing the door. I walked to her bed side placing a smile on my face.

"Hey babe, how are you feeling?"

She looked up into my eyes, "I.... want to die."

My heart almost came up out of my chest, how could she say that? Louis was even surprised, I noticed he had to turn his head to fight back tears. Me on the other hand couldn't hold back.

"Babe no....," I cried.

"I'm sorry but I can't.... this is too much Harry I thought he was going to kill me," she cried.

As the tears rolled down my eyes I looked over at Louis who was also crying. I laid on the edge of the bed with Jayda. She reached for my hand as I held her. I have to find who did this and I will.

"I'm sorry Louis, I don't want you to see me like this," Jayda sighed.

"It's okay Jayda, I'm  here regardless. We love you and I hate we weren't there," Louis said. He walked over giving her a soft hug that I could tell she appreciated.

"And Harry I'm sorry for not telling you about the hate mail and death threats," she said, turning towards me.

"It's okay, that will be dealt with immediately, all that's important now is you," I hugged.

She gave me a little smile, "thanks".

"I'll go get your mom, Jayda we'll make it through this. I love you sis," Louis said.

"I love you too bro," she smiled, as he left the room.

"My moms here?" She questioned.

"Yeah," I smiled.

"You have some explaining to do."

"Your mom is actually pretty cool," I laughed.

"What? Okay how long was I out for?"

I gave her a shrug which made her roll her eyes. My heart is beaming right now, I'm so happy she's okay.

"Harry.....?"

"Yeah babe?"

"You're great and I'm glad you're here," she smiled.

"I wouldn't be anywhere else and I'll never leave you alone again. I'm sorry," I sighed.

"I wasn't going to come back. I was going to fight the surgery and make my body reject it but I thought of you... I wasn't going to leave without an explanation."

Leave? Reject? No no no

"Stop Jayda. Stop. You're not leaving, you can't leave. Whatever it takes, promise me?"

"Harry..."

"Promise me Jayda. Please."

She looked into my tearful eyes as I tried to forget her previous words but there was no way.

"I promise H."

She leaned her chest on my shoulder as her mom walked in the room.
