An Unexpected Love

A loud ring woke me and I rolled to find the noise.

"Ow."

Falling off the bed wasn't my plan....

I could hear a chuckle come from above me and the ringing stopped.

Aiden smiled and held out his hand.

"What was that noise." I whined

Aiden full on laughed while helping me up.

"My phones alarm went off silly." He said

My eyes traveled to the clock behind me that read 7 am. Then traveled back to aiden's bare chest and heat flew to my cheeks remembering lastnight. I clutched the sheet to my naked body. A smile lit up Aidens face. His fingers grazed my cheek.

"Did you hurt yourself when you fell should I check for bruises?" He asked as his fingers slid down my arms to where my fingers clutched the sheet. His other hand slid up my leg seemingly moving the sheet as he went. His eyes were glossed over with a look Id only seen a select few times and his touch sent a shiver down my spine.

A loud knock interrupted and I let out the breath I was holding.

"Ill be checking for bruises later I suppose." He whispered then moved to answer his door.

I couldn't see much from my view besides his bare back. Aiden had a brief quiet chat with whomever it was and the door closed.

"Who was that? Anyone important?" I questioned.

He let out a small laugh turning towards me. "Ever so curious aren't you princess?"

I nodded still "Soo?" I said still waiting for him to answer my question

His playful expression slowly turned into one I couldn't read.

"It was Katie informing me breakfast is ready and and everyone's been seated." He stated. Rubbing his fingers through his hair.

My fingers itched to replace his. His grim expression kinda dampened the mood.

Realization dawned. "Elizabeth is eating breakfast with us?..." I'm sure by now my expression was as grim as his. After meeting her I came to the conclusion she's not someone I can get along with.

Aiden gripped my chin turned me to face him. He smiled and it felt genuine I couldn't help but smile in return. "There's my girl no frowns today or ever it'll ruin your pretty face." His lips pressed on my forehead and butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I sucked in a breath in surprise when his lips touched mine.

His lips left mine all too soon and that small feeling of emptiness creeped in.. what would I do without him...

I jumped when his hand came down on my butt. "Ow... what was that for?" I gasped

He laughed and his hand went down to rub where he spanked me. "Sorry baby but I did ask you to stop frowning come on get dressed breakfast is getting cold."

"Uhh. There's only one problem." I said looking down at the sheet I clutched and the room around me that wasn't mine.

"Right.." he said while looking me up and down. " You need clothes can't very well have everyone looking at you like that.

He doubled back to his closet and pulled out a T-shirt and pulled it over my small frame simultaneously pulling the sheet away at the same time.

"Will you need help getting to your room?" He asked as a mischievous smile crossed his face as his fingers tugged on the hem of his T-shirt.
