"Your mission for today is to get more intel on the Akastuki with another Jonin" Lady Tsunade said. "He already knows all the details, he is waiting for you in the main entrance. I want you to focus more into their skills and flaws if you can. Anything else your partner will tell you. Go." She finished.
You were in the Leafs Anbu Black Ops and like Yamato you were going to cover your actual identity to proceed your mission. You were very quiet, observant, smart, and a great ninjutsu user. You also knew genjustu and always were alert of everything. You were top ranked in the Anbu as one of the best shinobi they had.
Walking up to the main gate you see a tall slender man with grayish white hair. He seemed familiar to you. He seems to be reading a book but you can't quite see what book it is. As soon as he sees you walking towards him, he closes the book and waves his hand saying Hi. "I'm Hatake Kakashi, I'll be your partner for today" He seems warm but you could see the hurt he's been through. You could see it because you felt it and remembered instantly who this man was.
"I'm yuki" You said, you gave your fake name. "Hmm" he says questioning your name a bit but continues like nothing.'"Let's go" He says. You both get to the location you were given and hide in the bushes. "Is that-" you say "Itachi Uchiha? Yes. He joined the Akatsuki some time after he left the hidden leaf. We want more info on his partner though, so we're starting by them." you nodded.
After sometime examining them a little you grow impatient. "I understand we're supposed to lay low and see what type of jutsu he has but they haven't made movement. I'm sending a clone" You exclaim. "Wait-" Kakashi pulls you into his arms and jumps back. "They already know we're here" He whispers into your ear with a hand on your mouth. You pull yourself back and shake off the feeling of his soft voice in your ear.
"He's a fish. He carries a sword pertaining to the swordmens of the mist. He seems very skilled no doubt. Has to be if he's itachi's partner." You said. "No doubt. We'll back down for now. Tsunade said not to get in any altercations just yet" You nod.
You both got back to the main entry when Kakashi pulls you back to him and places his hand on your shoulder. "Y/n i know it's you" Your eyes widen as you thought you hid your identity well enough but not for kakashi. "I would expect nothing less from Kakashi" you smiled and took off your mask.
Kakashi was in the Anbu when you joined and you were a part of his team So you knew him pretty well. You used to talk to Kakashi when you had problems and he would listen that was what you loved about him, except he left the anbu and you could no longer talk as much since you didn't see him.
Kakashi pulls you into a bear hug hugging you as tight as he can, not enough to suffocate you though. You wrap your arms around his waist digging your head into his chest. It's been a while since you felt his warm comforting body. "It's been awhile y/n. I'm sorry i had to leave the Anbu, i didn't mean to leave you there on your own" he apologizes scratching his head. "It's fine really" you firmly said. Although Kakashi did bring you out of your comfort zone it was only by a little.
"Hey we should go get something to eat" He shyly says slightly blushing. "I wish i could but I have to report to Danzo. My apologies. Can i get a rain check?" you smile and he frowns for a little but nods. "As long as you promise it'll be soon" he smiles, "Of course" you answer and you both walk your separate ways.
You reported to Danzo and went home. When you got home you took off your shoes and got in the shower. Once you were out, you dressed in cozy clothes and laid down on your bed. You got sudden flashbacks of you and Kakashi. You always had a crush on him but you would push it away enough for you to think those feelings were gone but they all rushed back. "Ugh why am i feeling this again. It's been yearssss" you nag but end up falling asleep with the thought of kakashi.
