Sitting on the couch, legs curled up over Kakashi's lap, I giggled slightly as he scooted closer to me. I let my hands play with his soft hair as my eyes grazed the softly lit green tree with silver and gold ornaments in the corner of our living room. That same old mark from a few years ago appeared on my arm again, except on the other arm instead. Kakashi told me not to worry about it since it did no harm last time. I sighed to myself as I heard the sound of the snow hitting our house hard. Yes, we moved out of the apartment and into our own house. It was mainly my idea since why not.
" Something wrong?" Kakashi raised an eye at my sigh.
" Not at all, just kinda bummed out. The weather seems to be getting worse as time goes by, I wouldnt want them to have a hastel getting over here." I admitted. Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke were supposed to spend Christmas with us but with the way the weather is right now, I doubt it.
" Maybe it'll clear before tomorrow night. Besides it's Christmas eve, I know how much you love the holidays. Heck, you even made us get matching christmas pjs." He said, shaking his head as he stood to turn the light off.
" And you love them! They're literally just cute Santa pants, you can take them off tomorrow before dinner." I got up off the couch to light our fireplace before resuming my seat back next to Kakashi. " Besides, I think you look great in them." I giggled.
" Of course I do, I look good in everything." He spoke with a smirk on his face.
" Oh zip it," I rolled my eyes as he leaned to bite me on the neck. " Ow! Kashi what the hell!" I said, pouting. " Sharp ass teeth." I muttered.
He chuclked as he leaned onto me more, letting his head rest on my chest as I played with his silver locks. " I got you something," He said softly.
" Oi Kakashi Hatake! We agreed on no presents this year!" I groaned as he pulled out a red box with gold glitter.
" I know I know," He held out the box to me waiting for me to accept it. " But I just wanted you to have this, Christmas or not."
I slowly took the box into my hand, letting my fingers run over the material of the box. I sighed as I sat up, Kakashi looking at me eagerly. I opened the box, letting my eyes fall on what was inside. My mouth fell wide as my eyes softened. " It's beautiful Kashi," I said, pulling the silver band with soft flames engraved around it. But what caught my attention wasn't the flames but the small writing on the inside of the band.
Mr & Mrs Hatake
" It's meant to be the wedding band that you can wear with the engagement ring or just by itself. I know it's kinda late, with the wedding being a few months ago. So I pulled some ' Hokage magic' and got it in time for christmas." Kakashi's face had a soft color of red, the same red that good old Saint Nick wears every year. " Do you like it?"
" Like it? I love it! It's gorgeous Kashi, thank you so much." I said wrapping my arms around the tall man, pulling him close to me. I felt my smile grow wider as he pulled back and placed his lips on mine before putting the band on my finger with my other ring.
" Heh, it was originally my fathers idea. He suggested that I get you something fitable since you're a Ninja as well." Kakashi soon placed a kiss on my temple as the smells of firewood could be smelt throughout the house.
" True, but there will be less of those missions once we really settle down." I said honestly. He nodded besides me as I gazed back at both of my rings. " I'll never take it off." I added holding up my ring.
