Hyunsu looked up toward his bag where his flower was. The same one that was being drawn on his scarred wrist.
Just a coincidence.
"Why those?" He questioned curiously.
"Hmm...?" Song Hee hummed absentmindedly, concentrating on making the petals perfect symmetrical.
"What made you draw that flower?" He rephrased.
" Oh This? It's...Well it's kind of stupid." She whispered shaking her head lightly the platinum hair tucked behind her hair falling loose.
"No. Tell me" he rushed a feeling building up in his chest. "Please." He pleaded, he had this gut feeling about something but he didn't know what it was. At least not yet.
"Well in high school there was this kid, he used to get bullied pretty bad. He'd have bruises all over his face and limped a lot. He didn't have any friends, apparently this dickwad that was bullying him told everyone not to talk to him. I mean can you imagine being so isolated. Must've been so horrible." Song Hee sighed replaying the memories.
Hyunsu gulped. His eyes expanding rapidly. Memories flashing across his eyes.
"One day I decided to go to this park by the school and I found him crying on a bench. He looked so broken and beaten down I didn't know what to do. But I saw this big flower tree hanging over him. Surprised he never got shit on." She giggled "I reached up to the lowest branch and used my ninja skills to silently give him the flower undetected."
Song Hee was so into her story she hadn't realized that Hyunsu was staring at her like everything just aligned in his screwed up world.
"I don't know if It helped but I mean he smiled so I felt accomplished. I started doing it regularly, but then after some time he just stopped showing up."
" I didn't think I derserved it." Hyunsu whispered, holding up the purple flower that he had reached in his bag for during her dialogue.
Song Hee looked up from her drawing confusedly. She stared at the flower and then slowly brought her eyes up to his face. She felt her jaw drop a little as she dropped the pen that was in her dainty hand. She slowly lifted her eyes up to meet his. Then carefully lifted her hands up and cupped his face pushing back his long hair. She tilted her head to the side and smiled with tears in her eyes her voice not higher than a whisper.
"It's you"
Song Hee looked in bafflement at the boy. The boy that brought her such happiness so long ago was right here all this time. She smiled but then furrowed her brows in sadness. She abruptly pulled back from Hyunsu and stood up.
"How dare you, you jerk! You left, you stopped showing up, I went there for weeks after you disappeared and you where no where to be seen."
"I-" before Hyunsu could explain the door opened revealing Eunhyuk.
"It's time."
Hyunsu clenched his fist in anger.
