Third POV
The sun was setting, warm colors flashing through the clear glass windows of the train, as the group rode towards York New City. They were eerily quiet, looking at everything except each other. Leorio tapped his pen rapidly against the window. Kurapika breathed softly, before turning a page in his book. Gon was restless, constantly adjusting his position- leaning against the window, laying against the arm chair rest, eyes fluttering to his friends then back to their original position. He glanced at his best friend. Killua had an almost trance like look plastered on his face. He had eye bags under his eyes, and they were seldom open. His hair was messy and untamed, obviously neglected. The silverette was staring out the window, at the passing buildings and trees. Gon sighed, placing a hand on his friends shoulder. Killua didn't even flinch.
"It's going to be okay, Killua. We'll find her." He tries smiling reassuringly. The ex assassin exhales, grip on the arm rest tighter. Killua managed a pained smile, before turning back to the window silently. Although Gons friend looked calm, every motion Killua made gave away how he was feeling. Gon could feel it in his friends Nen. Something dark and sinister. There wasn't much, but he could tell it was being driven by the insatiable desire of finding (Y/n).
"We'll find her." He repeats, glancing at his friend one more time before staring out the window himself.
~~
The group calmly walks off the train. It was early in the morning, so the sounds of footsteps were scarce. Kurapika leads them quietly out of the train station. The sky was cloudy now, and a depressing rain fell from the sky. Leorio covered his head with his briefcase.
"Where to now?" Gon asks curiously, glancing at Kurapika then Killua anxiously. The Kurta straightens his clothes, before turning down the street. There was a slight chill in the air, and the mixed odors from city life overwhelmed the city air.
The group walked a ways from the train station, weaving through the small amount of people headed to work. Kurapika stops in front of a flower shop. The sign read closed, yet the red eyed male twisted the door handle, and the door popped open. The group dry themselves off, droplets of crystal water splatting onto the dark wood ground.
"I'm sorry! We'll open in a bit-" An old woman calls, hastily making their way to the front, before blinking a few times in surprise, then smiling.
"We've been expecting you. Please, come this way." She motions for Kurapika to follow her and he strides forward with confidence. This encourages Gon, Killua, and Leorio to trust this lady- since well, Kurapika doesn't trust very many people.
The old woman led them to the back, pulling a cabinet out of the way, revealing a metal door. She smiles one last time, before bowing and walking back to the front of the shop.
Kurapika sighs, before turning the handle with a surprisingly smooth motion, and the door creaks open, revealing a small tunnel. The groups footsteps tap against the wet concrete floor, until Kurapikas eyes land on another metal latch in front of them.
"When we get in, do not touch anything." Kurapika sighs, sliding the latch open.
A blinding light spills from the open doorway, and they make their way in.
~
The soothing sound of running water fills their ears, and Gon squints a bit through the bright light. A small stream flowed down a mini mountain, adorned with any type of flower you could imagine. Moss and grass covered the floor like a blanket, and glowing crystals shone with vibrant rainbow light, bouncing off each other. Gon looked around eagerly, while Leorio glanced at the crystals- probably eyeing them to possibly calculate their worth. Kurapika keeps a straight face, obviously unfazed. Killua took a small look at the scenery around him, before clutching onto (Y/n)s necklace tight.
"Early as always, Pika."
A soft female voice rang. Breaking the soothing sounds of wildlife. Kurapika chuckles a bit, fixing his clothes.
"You know me too well, Fifi." He starts forward, rounding a corner til the group found the person the voice had belonged to.
A girl, no older than 14 sat on the mossy ground. A blue butterfly sat on her finger, and a her sea blue gaze made a chill run down Gon's back. The female had dark hair, seemingly changing from certain shades of purple and blue when the light hit a different angle- almost iridescent. But perhaps a more disturbing realization was the fact a 6ft jester covered in colorful clothing and heart earrings stood behind the girl.
"Hisoka." Gon grit his teeth. Killua's eyes flared, and an irk of irritation formed on his face.
"Gon~ Killua~ You grow ever riper." He smiles, eyebrows arching in pleasure.
"What are you doing here?" Kurapika questions, eyes narrowing. Hisoka smiles smugly.
"Why~ I simply want to spend time with my dear friend is all~ ❤️" He muses, moving a lock of the girls hair to the side.
"Hands off." She glares at him, and Hisoka chuckles before removing his hand.
"So mean~"
This so called Fifi groans, a look of disgust pasted on her face.
"Calm your pedophilic NEEDS, Hisoka." She rolls her eyes, as the sitting butterfly flies off. Fifi glances at the group, before standing and brushing down her outfit.
"Now, who do I need to find?"
Kurapika turns towards the silverette, and waits for him to move forward. Fifi raises her eyebrows, obviously surprised with his ragged appearance. Killua shoves his hands in his pockets, taking a cautious step forward. His feet padded gently against the grass, as he moved in front of the girl. Fifi taps her finger against her arm.
"Well? You gonna tell me who you need to find or what?" She sighs dramatically, face palming. Killua makes a "tch" sound with his mouth, and turns his head away. Seeing this, the dark haired girl shakes her head, obviously irritated.
"Give me your necklace." The dark haired girl requests, holding her hand out. Killua flinches, and clasped the circle of metal in between his hands.
"Why?" He questions, shooting Fifi an ice cold glare. She sighs, and Kurapika shakes his head. Gon shakes Killua gently, encouraging him.
"I'll need it to help you." She explains, urging the ex assassin to give her the jewelry again.
"No." He repeats. Killua turns towards Fifi, pointing a finger right in front of her face.
"This is the only thing I have left of-"
"(Y/n)?" The girl finishes his sentence, and Killuas eyes shoot up. She pushes his hand out of her face, and rolls her eyes.
"How do you know that name?" The silverette narrows his eyes suspiciously. Fifi sighs, and holds up (Y/n)s necklace.
"That's just what my nen does." She shrugs, spinning the chain around her hand. Killuas aura spikes, and Hisoka takes a slightly protective step forward, a smile sliding up to his mouth. Fifi holds up a hand, signaling she would be fine against this angry fluff ball of a nen user.
"When did you take that from me??" Killua growls, hands sparking with electricity. He was sure he had it in his grasps, right in between his hands. Did she snatch it when he was yelling?
Fifi stops spinning the necklace, and her sea blue eyes glow.
"Calm the hell down, and stop burning the f*cking grass." She states, voice steady and smooth. Beneath Killua, soft wisps of smoke arose from the ground- where colorful green grass had once lived, ashy grey stalks now rested on the floor. Behind the females calm exterior, there was something menacing, and dark. Kurapika bites his lip, grabbing Killuas shoulders.
"Killua. Please. She's going to help us, okay?" He reassures the ex-assassin. Killua takes a deep breath, before his electricity ceases.
"Fine." His eyes never left the chain wrapped around Fifis hand. Upon seeing him comply, Fifi smiles.
"Good job." Holding the necklace by the circular chip, she closes her eyes. Wafts of blue nen radiate off of her body, concentrated on her hands. Slowly, the necklaces floats up into the air, glowing with a bluish tint. Suddenly, she flinches. The necklaces abruptly falls back down into the girls grip.
"What did you see?? Tell us!" Killua demands, taking a step forward. Hisoka holds a card up once again, a silent threat to not get any closer. The white haired male swallows, as his best friend furrows his brows in worry. Kurapika crosses his arms, obviously expecting an answer.
"....." The girl mumbles something under her breath, glancing at the glowing necklace. Killua couldn't take it anymore.
"Where. Is. My. Girlfriend?" He growls in between bursts of frightening nen. Fifi looks away, still clutching the necklace. Killua surges forward, grabbing the female by the collar. Hisoka starts forward, but a small wave from Fifi makes him stop.
"I asked you a question, tell me where she is NOW!" Killua demands again, hands glowing with electricity. Kurapika was frantically trying to pull the crazy Killua off of his friend, and Gon was yanking Killuas shirt, trying to pull him backwards. Fifi bites her lip, before grabbing Killuas hand, that was tight on her shirt collar. There was a flash, and suddenly, Killua was on his knees. The nen that had surrounded him angrily before was gone. Completely vanished. Fifi coughs, looking slightly disheveled.
"W-what happened?" Gon asks, a bead of sweat rolling down his face. Fifi coughs again, before looking at Gon.
"I....can absorb peoples nen.. A lot of it." She explains, turning to look at Killua. Hisoka chuckles, putting away his cards. The female takes a deep breath.
"You said you wanted to know where your girlfriend is?" She asks quietly, putting the necklace around Killuas neck carefully. Killua looks up in disbelief.
"The person you're looking for..." Fifi pauses, looking away slightly....-
"They don't exist."

~Minutes after Kurapika and the group leave~
"I did what you asked for. Now let my sister go." Fifi glares at the shadows. The before utopia dim and dark with dense tension. Another figure emerges from the dark, and Hisoka narrows his eyes. Fifi waves her hand, and Hisoka is teleported away.
"Good job. You did exactly what I asked of you, Fi." The voice laughs playfully. Fifi glares solemnly from where the voice had come from.
"I was worried for a second, though. I thought you had spilled my secret~" The voice muses. The dark haired girl grits her teeth, clenching her fist angrily.
"...Killua will find her. He loves her more than anything- why are you trying to sto -" Fifi coughs, blood splattering onto the palm of her hand.
"Uh oh~ You forgot the poison I injected into you still exists." The voice sings, humming a creepy tune.
Fifi growls, eyes glowing again.
"Just give my sister back, and get out of my friends body, you damn bastard."
A disappointed clicking sound turns into a light hearted laugh. A girl steps out into the light, her soft (H/c) hair gently gets brushed out of the way.
"Sorry, 'Fi,' but I'm never giving this body back." The girl laughs again, as Fifi falls to her knees, wheezing uncontrollably.
'I'm...sorry, (Y/n). I couldn't...save you.."
Fifi struggles to her feet, breathing hoarse.
"Heh. (Y/n) was a dear friend of mine. And I'm not letting you stop Killua from finding and saving her." She stumbles up, a weak aura forming around her. (Y/n) chuckles, a sword appearing in her hand.
"Looks like I didn't inject enough."
