Thomas's P.O.V.
I lost her. I lost him. I let wicked take them. I can't lose Antonia. Not again. I can't lose Minho either. He was my best friend. I may not have been as close to him as I am to Antonia, but he was still my friend.
I couldn't sleep that night. I kept thinking about Antonia. I should have been there. I should have pulled her out not Minho, now neither of them would be missing. Shuck sake. "Tommy?" I heard Newy whisper to me from across the room which we were sharing for that night. "You ok?" He asked. I didn't say anything and he didn't push it. Instead, he came and got into my bed and just hugged me as my tears fell. We eventually fell asleep.
The next day we woke and had breakfast. when we were cleaning up what's left of the camp, Frypan asked, "What do we do now?"
"Well, we pick up what's left of us. Stick to the plan, get you kids to the safe heaven." Vince replied. I got up and grabbed my bag. "I'm not going with you." I told Vince. "What?" He questioned. "I made a promise to Minho that I wouldn't leave him behind. I also am not losing my sister again. I have to go after them." I said, thinking about when we had just escaped Janson's compound.
Newt stood up, but Vince said, "Hey kid, look around you. Alright? Wicked just kicked our ass." I sighed, "I'm not asking anyone to come with me." I said.
"I've known Minho for... well as long as I can remember. So if there is any way we could help them, trust me, I would be up there, standing next to you. But this, what your talking about, is impossible." Newt replied. "More like suicide." Jorge said as he walked up to us.
"Maybe, but I know what I'm supposed to do now. It's not just about Antonia and Minho. It's about all of us. It's about everyone wicked has ever taken. Everyone they will take. They'll never stop. So, I'm going to stop them. I'm going to kill Ava Paige." I told them and got a gun before slinging it over my shoulder. "I have to admit, I'd like some revenge," Harriet said and stood up. "Well, it's a good speech kid. So what's your plan?" Vince added.
