Mikayla's POV
I went down stairs to get ready for school, I took some pumpkin spice creamer and mixed it with my coffee before burning my tongue "it's hot" Wanda said with a chuckle "thanks Wanda" I playfully rolled my eyes.
"Don't forget that we are having a get together night" Dad reminded us. I groaned and was over dramatic "can't we skip just one dad"
"Sorry Mik but aunt Pep thinks it's good bonding time for us" dad messed up my hair before grabbing some water, I mumbled and grabbed my bag. "I'm going to jump off a bridge"I mumbled "not alone" mom flicked my head. When ever I said I'd jump off a bridge she would say that afterwards- it's been our thing for years. Dad drove me to school today.
We had a prep rally AND a project due that me and Peter have been working on for the past week and still haven't finished. "Hey Mik, how much money do you think Mrs Alzer will accept for us to extend the due date" Peter asked while jogging up to me.
"You'd have to buy her a whole island Pete" I scoffed "we can talk to Mr stark about that" we laughed together before Josh came over and gave Peter a look. "Hey babe, want to come over tonight?" He asked "sorry... I have family plans tonight" I gave him a sad smile.
"I can see if you can join though" I grabbed my phone and texted my mom, dad would immediately say no and mom would consider it.
It took a few minutes before she read it but when she did she said yes. "They said you can join! Come to the tower arounf 6" I gave him a kiss before going to Biology. "At least if he tries to hit you the avengers are there" Peter whispered, I sighed "he won't hit me"

"Hey Joshua, glad you could make it" my mom gave him a smile once he entered the common room. "Hey Josh" I gave him a hug, dad didn't like when I kissed him, he actually didn't even like the fact I was dating someone.
We ate dinner first, Josh kept giving me looks but ignored it and decided to eat 3/4ths of my plate.
"Put the names in the hat" Uncle Tony said while we sat down in the movie theatre to watch a movie before we played a few games. He mixed the papers up and he picked a random one "the wave it is!" He said, FRIDAY automatically scanned for triggers and put the movie on.
The lights turned off and I cuddled next to Josh while he put an arm around me, I could sense Pietro and Josh giving each other death looks "just ignore him babe" I whispered to him "tell him to stop looking at you all the time" He whispered back.
"I will, later" I pulled a blanket on us.
Halfway through the movie Josh was getting almost Angry "what's wrong Josh?" I asked a little concerned "nothing" he had a mad tone
"Tell me" I looked him in the eyes "tell speedster to stop wanting you" he was mad "he hates me, trust me he doesn't want to watch me Josh" I grabbed Josh's hand to calm him down.
Did Pietro secretly not hate me? Why does Pietro keep giving Josh dirty looks, it's not like he cares about me or even likes me in the first place. Plus he has way more prettier girls to talk to and hook up with than to pay attention to me.
After the movie was done we went to play a game "what game?" Dad asked while looking in the closet "monopoly!" Uncle Clint and Bucky shouted, I laughed and dad grabbed the game.
We were in teams of 2, Pietro and Uncle Clint, Me and Josh, Unlce Bucky and Dad, Vision and Wanda, Mom and Aunt Yelena, Uncle Tony and Uncle Bruce, and Uncle Scott and Uncle Sam.
"I claim Cat!" I shouted before grabbing it "we know Mik, you always take it" Uncle Buck snickered "why the cat?" Josh asked "I don't know, I just like them I guess" I shrugged and he smiled at me.
Wait he smiled at me? Someone spiked his drink.
"Why would I pay $50 rent for a blue hotel!" Uncle Tony yelled at dad "because it's the game rules!" Dad argued back "hand over the money Tony" Incle Bucky put his hand out, Tony rolled his eyes and handed over 2 twenties and 1 ten.
Pietro gave Josh the dirtiest look ever "stop giving us that look" Josh snapped at Pietro "Josh it's ok" I caressed his arm. "No it's not he's been giving you that look this whole time, he doesn't want me here" he whispered.
"He's always like that don't worry" I whispered back "Pietro be nice" Wanda gave him that warning look, Pietro gulped and went back to the game.
"That was our last $100!" I groaned when we landed on Uncle Bucks blue hotel for the THIRD TIME! They were winning 200%
Josh gave them the $100 and we continued playing "how's school going for you Joshua?" Dad asked him "it's going good, all A's and B's" he have my dad a scared smile. He was kinda scared of him but never admitted to it "like you have any brain cells to even go to school" Pietro muttered under his breath.
"Pietro!" Me and Wanda both said at the same time "what! It's true" Pietro put his hands up in defense "at least I actually go to school" Josh muttered "just ignore him" I held his hand hoping he wouldn't get mad.
"Bitches" Pietro murdered under his breath, Josh was getting mad "calm down" I told Josh "don't tell me to calm down" he snapped back.
I sighed and let go of his hand, "Joshua, Pietro, be nice please" Mom gave them both looks.
Natasha's POV
Joshua and Pietro kept giving each other looks while they whisper argued and Mik tried to call Josh down, we all ignored it and just continued the game.
Pietro definitely had something for Mik but there was something off about it... it looked like he didn't hate her but hated the person she reminded him of. I would rather have Pietro and Mikayla together than Joshua and Mikayla, I don't think my daughter is very happy with him.
"Pietro stop!" Wanda yelled at her twin "he's being ridiculous" Pietro groaned "ridiculous- your the one being ridiculous for hating me and Mikayla" Josh snapped back "Josh stop" Mik elbowed him.
"Oh so he can insult me but when I insult him I'm the bad guy" he gave her a mad look "no- that's not- you can't be seriously saying that I told you to stop because you insulted him" she gave him that evil look. "Well that seems like what your doing" Josh clenched his fists.
"I'm just trying to bring peace here and you keep agonizing it so it won't stop"
"You keep on standing up for the speedster"
"Because he's my friend!"
"Mikayla Romanoff!" Steve yelled slightly
"And I'm your boyfriend!"
Mikayla ran a hand through her hair "Mikayla!" Steve yelled
""I know! But you will forgive me for one argument while he would never even look at me again" she was frustrated now. " I can't stand the way how he keeps looking at you! Whatever not like you care anyways" Joshua turned his focus off of his girlfriend.
"I do care!" Mikayla yelled
"Mikayla Rogers!" Steve yelled louder "what!" Mik yelled back, Steve was not happy "don't bring that attitude to me" Steve snapped, I elbowed him and he looked at me.
"Don't yell at me" Mikayla snapped back as well "Mikayla stop being rude" I pitched in "whatever" She was clearly stressed.
"Kayla listen to your mom" Josh whispered to her, Mik rolled her eyes "don't role your fucking eyes at me" I slightly heard Josh say, my eyes feathered into that boys soul.
"Don't tell me what to do" my amazing daughter snapped back at him "don't yell at me" she gave him another look "whatever like I said you don't care." He mumbled.
"Is that how little you think of me Joshua! You think I don't care? All I do is care 24/7 I put everyone in front of me and make sure they are happy before I'm happy. I put people back into reality where they are safe and cared for, and you think I don't care? All I do is care!" She screamed at him.
"Are you trying to make me feel bad or something?" Joshua said calmly
"No. I'm trying to make you feel something for once."
Everyone was silent while Bucky was about ready to kill him. "Is this a game to you Mikayla" Josh intimidatingly said to her "ya kinda, and some how I always end up being the bad guy" she scoffed before standing up and walking away. "Mikayla!" I yelled after her, Josh sighed and ran a hand through his hair "I messed up" He mumbled.
"Ya think?" Pietro said "Pietro stop it!" Wanda yelled at him before following Mik to see if she was ok. Pietro sighed and mumbled something I couldn't understand in Sokovian.
Mikayla's POV
"Kayla" Wanda walked up to me and put a hand on my shoulder. I hugged her and took a deep breath "why does your brother freaking hate me" I mumbled.
"He doesn't hate you, he just doesn't like Josh" she whispered back "he hated me even before I met Joshua"
"He's always nice and flirty and playful to everyone else except me, what did I do to him?" I asked while breaking the hug "nothing Mikayla... you just remind him of someone from Sokovia. I'll talk to him about it later I promise. He just has weird ways of showing care" she gave me a sad smile and a I returned one.
So he hated me because I reminded him of some bitch from Sokovia??
