THIRD PERSON's POV
FRIDAY, 3RD WEEK at YG INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY'S CAMPUS
It's now Friday and the result of the SGC Election was successfully announced yesterday and they immediately did the oath taking in the afternoon after the classes. Today, the whole campus of YG INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY is very busy from every department building and fields. The students are busy walking to the departments where the persons they purposely wanted to see. Guess what? Friday is free day. All the students are having their time to find and invite the person they wanted to be with in the incoming 'The Grandest YG Ball'. It is set to happen next week, the last week of the month that will be held in Las Vegas. Yes, in Las Vegas, that is what it means ' THE GRANDEST'. The ball is for all the students of YG INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY. Although, they are allowed to bring a date that is not from YG INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY.
IN THE HALLWAY OF THE MAIN BUILDING
" What's your plan for the ball? Do you have your date now?" Miyeon asked Nancy. They are walking to their locker room.
" I have a plan to propose to our SGC President to be my date" Nancy confidently answered Miyeon's question. Only to receive a disrespectful laugh from her friend. She is unbothered though.
" Are you serious ?..." Miyeon laughed again, " I didn't know you're a clown," Miyeon added, still laughing her ass out.
" No, maybe I'm your happiness. Don't worry I understand, this beauty?" pointing at her face, " It's everyone's happiness that having a glimpse of my angelic face could make your day and night complete" Nancy humbly said. Yes, in this case she's still humble.
Miyeon stopped laughing and gave Nancy a weird look, " Do you have a fountain of confidence in you? You never lose any''
" Do you want to help me propose to Lisa?" Nancy seriously asked her friend.
" SO, are you really serious about asking the President to be your partner at the ball? I thought you're only joking." Miyeon in disbelief of how much her friend is confident to ask their President.
" Why not, right? I'm just grabbing the opportunity but if she rejects me it's still fine. You know, almost all the girls and even boys here are drooling for her. For sure, there were a lot who wanted to be her partner and to be with her for the entire special night of YG. I understand if she rejects my proposal I know she doesn't want to be unfair to others. But I still hope she will accept it." Nancy said, hugging the books to her chest while dreaming of having Lisa by her side in the ball and dancing to the most romantic song with her all night long.
* PAKKKKKKKK
" OUCHHHH! What the hell, Miyeon! What is that for?" Nancy caresses her forehead after Miyeon smacked it.
" Your dreaming, wake up girl" Miyeon said, clicking her tongue while shaking her head.
" There is nothing wrong with dreaming! Didn't the school teach us to be dreamers? My god, Miyeon." Nancy responded.

" Hayssss, Whatever." Miyeon said, leaving her friend behind.
" What the hell is her problem? I'm just innocently dreaming here. I'm just a woman with a dream. Is it a crime now, if I desired someone? MY GOD what happened to the people now" Nancy mumbles. Other students in the hallway heard her and giggled.
Nancy is one of the well known YG students. She is known for being naturally funny and active in the student council. A true definition of a woman with beauty and brains. She is a consistent academic achiever. She may not be kind as a saint but she's not bad as a devil either. You know, her attitude depends on the situation. She and Miyeon have become close since their 1st year.
MEANWHILE IN THE UNIVERSITY'S MINI PARK
" Is he a pre-school kid? Why did he can't understand a simple 'NO'?" Irene irritatedly said, throwing herself on the park's bench.
" Sehun is obviously very whipped to you Baechu" Sana spoke, sitting beside Rosie who's enjoying her food.
" Just appreciate his effort Bae. The guy did a big heart sign in the air with balloons with words asking, 'IRENE BAE, ACCEPT MY PROPOSAL, BE MY GIRL FOR THE BALL' that's pretty expensive and romantic" Nayeon said that only made Irene more annoyed.
" I don't care if he spends his millions and besides, I hate people who are spending too much money for what? If he donated it to those unfortunate people on the foundation, surely I'll be happy" Irene said, receiving a clap from the busy chipmunk.
" That's it! Irene Bae to her Good Samaritan Era! Bravo! I always tell you this, you should be wiser spending your money. Imagine, if he buys that food and donated it a lot of homeless people will be happy." Rosie teaches her disciples.
" Okay, don't get me wrong. I only complimented him for his efforts but it doesn't mean I supported that kind of way like spending too much money. You know, I grew up with saints." Nayeon immediately explained herself.
" At least you rejected him in a nice way. I thought earlier there will be a disaster coming" Jennie spoke while focusing on her notebook.
" Let's forget about that. Anyways, do you have any plans for the ball?" Irene changed the topic.
" Same tradition, we will attend then enjoy the whole night" Nayeon responded first.
" Can we try something different? Like five of us having our own theme instead of following the dress code?" Sana suggested.
" You mean going against the dress code?" Jennie seriously asked.
" Easy Ms. Vice President, it's not a big deal. Or you can request it to Ms. Jessi and to the University. Being the grandest ball it is given that it's expected to be fun. But, we should have at least a different experience this time. Two consecutive years we only have the same type of ball. Like the same program, same activities and so on. Nothing changed. " Sana expressed her opinion, Jennie suddenly stopped from looking at her notebook and obviously she's considering Sana's opinion.
" We know what happened when wifey only tried to be creative and they were supposed to be thankful for that. But what happened, they only rejected all the ideas that wifey proposed to them and they even got a bit annoyed" Rosie remembered what happened last year.
" I can't understand them," Irene said and sighed, leaning on the bench.
" But it can be different now" Jennie said, they all turned to her.
" What do you mean Jen?" Sana asked.
" There is a new SGC President and she made the University violate their own rules to let her run. And I know she is capable of bringing that change that we need for this institution." Jennie answered, the girls were enlightened by what she meant.
" So, what's your plan Jendeuki?" Nayeon asked in curiosity.
" I will talk to her and I will try to propose to her the ideas that we had last year" Jennie said and turned her attention to her notebook.
" You are trusting her now wifey" Rosie said trying not to sound like a tease.
" Does not what we need as President and Vice President? I'm also trusting the other officers Hubby'' Jennie immediately answered Rosie, trying not to be distracted.
" I mean Wif- " Rosie wasn't able to finish her sentence when suddenly someone ran towards them to give the bouquet of red roses to Jennie.
Without any word the guy who handed the flowers to Jennie ran back to the direction where he came from.
" Oh, I'm already familiar with this kind of corny shit" Irene mumbles but Sana heard her and she got elbowed.
" Just act like you are suprised too, '' Sana whispered to her.
" You mean act like a dumb?" Irene asked, rolling her eyes.
" Just zipped your mouth," Sana said, then smiled at the man walking towards them. Irene picks up her phone and acts like she's busy.
" My god, earlier it's Sehun now your man" Nayeon nudged Jennie as she teased the human cat.
" Kai" Jennie mumbles.
Irene is about to say something but Rosie's fast hand successfully covered it.
" My god, they are so cute, right girls? Rosie said, widening her eyes to Irene to agree with her, " Behave Bae" the chipmunk got her hand off Irene's mouth.
Irene only nodded, against her will of course.
" Pretty, this will be the first time I will ask you to be my muse at the Ball. I'm hoping I am the only one you wanted to be with on one of the most special nights of YG. So, formally, asking your permission to be your man for that special night. Let me make it more special for you. Will you be my muse, Jennie Kim?" Kai almost made an engagement proposal speech. He even kneeled in front of Jennie. The students around them started to cheer for them and shouted the words " SAY YES".
Is he asking for her to be muse or wife? Tsk. Irene thought.
" My god Bae, your hatred towards him is superb to the extent that I can literally hear what you're thinking," Sana said.
It is just 200 meters away from the Mini Park.
" So, this is how they asked a girl here to be their muse for the ball?" Seulgi spoke, as they got distracted by the shouting of other students. They stop from walking to see what's happening but they immediately see what it is. All of them are just standing straight there wearing their famous poker faces.
" His friend got rejected by Irene earlier." Jeongyeon said.
Meanwhile Jennie nodded to Kai and the students around them went crazy. Kai got up and hugged Jennie.
" And he didn't get rejected, in fact, he got a yes," Jisoo said and took a quick glance at her right side.
" Kim Jongin is lucky to be honest. She got the so-called Queen Bee" the book-worm commented, of course it's Tzuyu.
" No question, since he's the so-called King of the Queen." Seulgi said.
" He better love her" Lisa simply said, earning a look from her squad.
" Do you care for her?" Jisoo genuinely asked. She knows her friend. They know Lisa. And it scares them somehow. Something scares them to happen.
Lisa didn't look at them, she's still looking where Jennie and Kai is who's still hugging each other now.
" The girl seems traumatized. He should better treat her well. That is what everyone else should do to their partner right? Besides, everyone deserves to be treated well" Lisa responded, they all nodded, agreeing with her.
" Let's go, we still have a lot of things to do," Tzuyu said, and they continued their walk.
Irene saw them.
Back to zero. Irene thought, mentally sighed.
JEONGYEON'S POV
Since the University declared early in the morning that today is a free day. It means we are free to do what we want since there are no classes. We quickly did all the remaining academic work we didn't finish last night. We got a bit distracted on our way here in the Basketball Centre when we heard loud noises from the Mini Park. It turns out there is a ball proposal happening there. Of course, we didn't waste our time standing there and we are now in the centre. We have a basketball practice today and only 5 of us are here so far.
" How's your conversation with her, Lali?" Seulgi asked, and she passed the ball to Lisa.
" I got a ton of information from her. She has been a good president to be honest" Lisa answered as she shoot the ball from half court.
It went to the basket. The sharpshooter she is.
" IU is a 4th year right? Why didn't she run for the position again for one last time since it's her last academic year here" I said, as I received Jisoo's pass.
" I asked her too. She only said because it won't be easy for her, she's graduating now. She will be extremely busy" Lisa responded to my question, I shoot the ball after that.
" It makes sense" Chewy uttered, she is still wearing her damn shoes.
" Come on, Chewy I thought Chu is the turtle here" I shouted even though she's just probably 10 meters away from me. She's sitting on the floor.
" We have benches here Chewy it would be easy for you to tie your shoes" Jisoo said, pointing to the benches around us including the bench that is only behind her but she still chooses to sit on the floor.
" Yes chu, like how you choose the floor and be dramatic when there is a sofa literally you are already seated on" Chewy nonchalantly answered, Jisoo shut her mouth.
" She is the most serious among us but sometimes she looks like a kid in a giant's body" Lisa mumbles we all heard that including Chewy.
" YAH! Pran, I thought we got each other's back!" Chewy whined like a kid, she really looked like a kid.
" We got each other back. But...." Lisa was cut off by the giant kid.
" But what?!" Chewy asked.
" Honesty is the best policy" Lisa continued and passed the ball to Chewy.
" Get up there kid" I teased.
She threw the ball to me and we laughed. I throw it back to her and she throws it to Jisoo who's having a good time laughing beside the ring post.
* BANGGGGGGGGG
Jisoo got hit in the forehead.
We all gasped, including Chewy. She angrily looked at us.
" Who threw the ball at me?" She asked in her deep voice. I am about to point at Chewy but she beats me.
(A/N: Don't worry Jeongyeon, she's not scary)
"Her," Chewy said.
"What the heck?" I mumbled, Chewy pointed at me.
I didn't have a chance to speak when Jisoo ran to me. Of course, I love my life, I run away.
" YAHHHHHHHHHH! JISOOYAHHHH!" I shouted as she was still chasing me.
" WHY DID YOU THROW TO ME THE BALL!" Jisoo shouted back.
" I DIDN'T!"
" THEN, WHO DID IT?!!!"
" CHEWYYYYYY!" My voice raised, as I realized she almost caught me. I feel she stops.
" YOU GIANT KID!!!!!" Jisooyah shouted as she was now running to Chewy who looked so scared.
" I can't believe behind your serious faces you're still kids" A man's voice appeared from the other side of the court near the entrance.
Jisoo and Tzuyu stopped running and we all turned to him.
He walked until mid court.
" You all look like a bunch of serious people but all of you are still a kid after all" he speak again.
" Coach Lee" We all uttered in unison. 5 of us walked to gather in front of him and we bowed.
" Did you experience at least once in your life to be late? You're always earlier than the agreed time." He said, he sounds like a proud Dad.
" Late to come home, yes Coach Lee" Lisa jokingly answered, Coach chuckled. It's true tho.
" Anyways, congratulations Lisa and Jisoo for winning one of the 2 top positions in the student council" He congratulated the two.
" Thank you, Coach" They both responded at the same time. The coach only nodded in response.
" There is still at least 10 minutes before the practice. Why don't you have snacks first? there is a mini grocery outside the centre" Coach said.
Yes, that's true there are some mini groceries near every building here. That's for the convenience since there are some buildings here that are far from the cafeteria.
" We bring snacks with us, Coach" Seulgi answered.
" Yeah, we cooked it." Jisoo proudly said.
" Okay, have your snacks first. I will just get my equipment in the locker room and exactly 10 minutes after we will start the practice." He said and left us.
" Sooyahhhh" Chewy cutely calls Jisoo. The turtle rabbit acting like she's angry because of what happened.
" Sooyahhhhhhhh" She calls again. We just suppress our laughter.
Jisoo is still not facing her.
Chewy goes to her gym bag and gets something.
" Sooyahhhhhhhhhhhh" Chewy calls again but still no response.
" Here, chicken sandwich. I cooked th-"
" We're okay now, thankschu" Jisoo quickly turned to her and grabbed the chicken sandwich.
" And just like that" Lisa whispered, Seulgi and I laughed and shook our heads.
We all sit on the bench to have our snacks.
" Do you like to share it with us?" A man spoke. We didn't turn, we knew who entered the centre just by now.
" You came earlier than us," Jongin said.
"Obviously" I simply said. Together with his friends they stood in front of us. We didn't look at them. No, it will only be like they are towering us.
" Stay away from my girl" Jongin said, looking down at Lisa who's just enjoying her strawberry shake. She didn't mind responding to him.
" Did you hear me? Stay away from MY GIRL" He repeated, now emphasizing the 'MY GIRL'.
Lisa finished her shake and leaned on the bench comfortably with her eyes closed.
" Who's your girl?" Lisa asked coldly as she opened her eyes and stared blankly at Jongin.
" I can't believe our new SGC president doesn't have any common sense" Chanyeol mumbled. I managed to hear him.
" Don't worry I have a lot of that. But it's useless if I used it to you" Lisa responded. She heard Chanyeol too.
" Then, do you get what I said?" Jongin asked again.
" What?" Lisa asked back, no one wanted to talk with this kind of Lisa’s side. People will only lose their shit.
" ARE YOU A FUCKING STUPID?!" Jongin raises his voice but Lisa never loses her poise.
" Don't you ever raise your voice to her," Jisoo said in a cold tone.
" You can talk calmly" Tzuyu said.
" I can't blame you if you lose your shit" Seulgi spoke too.
" Are you mad?" I asked, but we didn't waste our energy to look at them.
He laughed, the forced one. His stupid friends join him.
Cringe. I thought.
" I don't care if you understand or not. I clearly warned you. STAY AWAY FROM HER." He said, emphasizing the last 4 words.
We didn't talk back anymore and they proceeded on the bench across from us. In not so long after they walked away from us, Coach Lee came back from the locker room. At the same time, Jungkook, Wendy and other players entered the basketball centre.
" What's wrong with them? As far as I know we did nothing to them" Seulgi said.
" Does he see Lisa as a threat?" Tzuyu asked.
" Maybe he is doing the same if he sees someone who's close with Jennie except her friends," Jisoo said.
" Don't mind them. They are not that important to waste our precious time and energy" Lisa spoke and I saw how she gave a small smirk on Jongin who's eyes are still on Lisa.
Aishhhh, this monkey really knows how to annoy people.
" Players, come here and gather." Coach Lee called out all the players.
We all gathered in front of him.
" Listen, we only have 1 month left of preparation for the University's Basketball League." Coach Lee informed us.
" Wait, what coach? 1 month?" Baekhyun asked in confusion.
" Yes, they changed the timetable for this season. And exactly 1 month from now, the first game of the elimination games will started" Coach Lee explained.
" I know 1 month is too short for the chemistry to work, especially since there is a new set of players on the team. But I'm expecting for you to have practice at least once a day here in this centre as a team. But I will give you permission to practice on your own outside the campus. Just make sure there is no trouble" He said and had a quick glance at Kai and his friends. I assumed they were trouble makers.
" YES, COACH!" We said in unison.
" Okay, now 10 minutes warm up!" He commanded and whistled as a sign for us to start.
Everyone started their own warm up and I'm about to start on my own when someone approaches me.
" Hi Senior!" She said, I chuckled after I heard what she called me.
" Is that what you used to call a student who's older than you?" I asked her, she shyly smiled.
" Yes we are only allowed to call them by their names if they give us permission. But mostly everyone wanted to be called a senior. It's our way to show respect," she explained.
" You can call me what you wanted to call me then" I said, tapping her shoulder.
" Unnie?" She hesitantly said.
" Unnie?" I repeated, okay I just want to make sure if that is what she wanted to call me. You know no one called me Unnie before.
" Oppa?" She cutely said, I chuckled again.
But she immediately explained herself, " I'm sorry senior it's just that I assumed you're not comfortable with Unnie"
" How do you say so?" I asked her. I see how hesitant she is.
"Because...ahmmmm. Don't get mad at me Senior, it's because my gay radar tells that ahmm you know" she shyly explained herself, scratching the back of her neck.
" Don't be shy, your gay radar is legit" I said, I wink at her.
Her eyes widened, the same how wide her smile was, " So, you like girls Oppa?" She cutely gave me the 'how-many-chicks-do-you-have' look.
" I think you like girls too" I gave back the look she gave to me. Then, we exchange playful looks.
" You should warm up now, Yeon" Lisa reminded me as she approached us.
" Hi senior!" Ryujin greeted Lisa like how she greeted me earlier.
" Just call me, Lisa. Hello, Ryujin!" Lisa greeted her back.
" You can call her Oppa too" I leaned on her ears and whispered. She giggles .
" I heard it, Yeon." Lisa said then continued her jogging.
We just chuckled.
" Let's go, Oppa. I join you to your warm up"
We started our warm up but I noticed someone was looking at us. I saw Baekhyun glaring at me.
What now? They are all really problematic. I thought.
I ignored it and continued our warm up.
SOMI'S POV
I am currently sitting at the bench under the tree just near our department building. I am continuing the song that I started to write last week. I need a fresh air and peaceful place to have a great mood to continue this.
I close my eyes to feel the fresh air and hope it refreshes my mind. But, I feel someone walking slowly towards my direction. I tried to focus because maybe it's some cats that are wandering around.
" Inhale, Exhale" I mumbles under my breath as I feel heavy in my chest. I don't know why I feel like I want to open my eyes to see what or who it is but my eyes can't cooperate.
The footsteps are getting near, I think I just mistakenly thought it's a cat, however I think it's not.
The wind blew so strong that it made me feel something off. The birds on the tree that happily sang earlier suddenly became silent.
"5" ...the footsteps are getting nearer.
"4" .... the wind even becomes stronger, I feel like it is whispering to my ears.
"3" .... my hand is shaking, gripping to my ballpen.
"2" ... feels like I got deaf with the loud sounds produced by my heart beat.
I whisper as I counted from 5 to 1 wanting to open my eyes.
"1" I almost lost my breath.
I slowly opened my eyes as I felt the fears starting to eat me whole. I don't know but I gulped instead to exhale to shake my fears off as I saw Bambam already sitting across me. He's looking at me, smiling but his smile is not that wide.
Why it scared me more than to feel safe. I thought.
"Somi" He uttered as his deep voice welcomed my ears.
" Bambam, you scared me" I said, smiling awkwardly, I'm trying my best to act normal.
" I just silently approached you since I thought I might disturb you. You seem to be enjoying the fresh air here" He said, finally my fears disappeared when I see how his eyes become small from smiling.
I think you should lessen your addiction to coffee Somi. I reminded myself mentally.
" Ahhm, Somiii.." Bambam almost whispered, he bowed down. Is he shy?
" Yes, what is it Bam?" I asked, sometimes I call him Bam to shorten his name.
I see how hesitant he is even in opening his lips to speak.
" Hey, say it" I said, I smiled warmly to him wanting him to feel confident.
" I didn't prepare anything, only this" He said and showed me a piece of red rose.
" For me?" I asked, he nodded and I accepted.
" I just want to invite you to be my muse in the incoming ball, if you let me be your escort too?" He gently asked. I wasn't expecting that considering we only know each other for a week or more than that.
Since, I don't want him to see any hesitance in me, "Yes" I accepted his proposal to be his muse for the ball by simply saying yes to him. I just don't want someone to feel rejected.
He smiles so warmly and widely. " Thank you, Somi! I'll promise we will enjoy the ball together" He promised, I just smiled and nodded to him.
I think I can't ask the person I wanted to be with the ball anymore. I sighed mentally.
After almost 1 hour talking with Bambam we parted ways as he still had important matters to do and I'm on my way to the main campus' gate. I'm planning to check the musical instruments at the newly opened store. They are selling old instruments there. It's old but it had a good quality. I had time to check it last week but I didn't have enough money with me at that time.
I almost fell on the ground when I bumped into someone. Luckily, I did balance my body to avoid myself falling.
" Oh,hey Ms. I didn't mean to bump into you. I didn't notice someone was behind me" the man explained, obviously he's one of the YG students.
" It's okay, it's my fault I didn't look in my way" I apologized instead.
I saw him glance at the rose that I'm holding on, but it's just a quick glance.
" Oh btw, I know you! Somi, right? I'm Kris by the way" He introduced himself.
" You know me?" I asked.
" Of course you are Somi. Everyone here knows you,” he said.
I just humbly smiled. Not proud but what he said is true. I don't know how they know me when I'm not even almost showing myself to them.
" I'm sure you don't know me. Again, I'm Kris, Kris Wu"
SANA'S POV
2:00pm
Despite us having a free day we didn't go home and we chose to stay here and finish some of our reports and projects. Jennie and Irene need to report to the SGC office on their first day. You know, free day or not they need to report. While Rosie, she has been called in the music club maybe about the incoming ball. Music clubs used to be involved in performances like orchestra or serenade or whatever. The university wanted to use their students' talents rather than hiring famous artists to entertain us. But sometimes if it's really needed they invite some artists that are certified idols, artists or performers now who graduated here in YG. While me and Nayeon are here in our department building. Until we reach the main floor.

Obviously, it's super loud murmurs and these were what welcomed us as soon as we stepped out in the elevator.
We saw one of the known bullies here making a proposal to Jeongyeon to be her escort.
"Tskk. how sure is she that annoying human creature is into girls?" I heard Nayeon mumble while making a face that I can't explain if it's angry or just nothing.
"5 of them even if they don't say anything about it, I and maybe a lot of girls here can sense that they are not straight. I can conclude too, they are not into boys" I answered her and she turned her head to me in slow motion, giving me a questioning look.
"Don't tell me you only base on how they dress up themselves? They may have tomboy vibes but it doesn't mean they are lesbian" Nayeon said, crossing her arms on her chest.
" Whatever, at least she tries, who knows maybe Jeongyeon will accept her proposal" I said, in my confusion this bunny beside me laughed as if she heard the funniest joke ever.
I look at her with too much confusion visible all over my face. She is starting to hit me in my arms. She tends to hit whatever things near her whenever she's laughing too much. But, I can't understand why she laughs like that. I didn't say anything that was funny though.
She finally notices my reaction and she is trying to suppressed her laugh
" Okay, I just can't help but to laugh.'' She said, '' Let's go" and just like that she left me behind and of course I ran to follow her.
In my shock, I stopped.
Nayeon is walking towards where the proposal is happening.
" Aishhh, what crazy thing will she do again? This bunny is really a pain in my ass" I mumbles.
" Hey, not wanting to disturb you, but you are disturbing us. Could you please move aside and stop blocking the way" Nayeon said, loud and a bit sassy. Yeah, just a bit of sassiness but not for everyone's liking.
The bully slowly turns her head to the direction which is obviously a clear way but Nayeon only looks at her like she is clueless.
One of the bully's friends or should I say one of her tales pointed that clear way, " We are not totally blocking your way Nayeon Im" she said.
But because she's Nayeon you know what she will do instead of just letting it.
" Still, move aside not only me and my friend, you're disturbing and as far as I know you, you, you and YOU! (she pointed at Jeongyeon last while raising her voice but the girl didn't even make any reaction. She is just staring at Nayeon) . You are not psychology students. Why do you need to do your proposal here, huh? You only visited other department buildings but you're the brave one to disturb us here" Nayeon said, I just face palmed. This is not even a big deal but Nayeon being Nayeon, she makes everything big.
The bully is about to talk back but someone comes and everyone starts to squeal.
I cover up my ears if not how can I hear my patients in the future if I will let my eardrums be destroy today?
"STOPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!" Nayeon couldn't do anything but yell at them.
" Shit, this is trouble" I whispered.
All the students look at her and stop from their noises. Could I blame this tall creature named Tzuyu for causing too much mess?
" Could you stop that EAR-DAMAGING SQUEAL of yours if YOU DON'T MIND!" Nayeon is now really stressed out. It's not acting anymore.
I tried to calm her by whispering something on her.
" Nayeonshiii, you're pretty pretty pretty right? Stressing here is just a waste of time. It's not good for your pretty face" I tried my best but she is not buying it at all.
" You, Nayeon Im, what's your problem huh?" the bully finally speaks. She handed the balloon to her tales that I believed to be props to her proposal. She go infront of Nayeon and faced her but this sassy bunny even did an elevator-eyes.
" I understand you, I'm pretty," the bully proudly said in Nayeon's face after Nayeon made an elevator eyes. She even made this situation worse.
Nayeon made a fake laugh and stopped to give the bully a sassy look, with her right brow raising, " You're pretty but not for my standards." Nayeon responded. The boys around started to boo.
" Just tell me if you are not getting any proposal from Baekhyun you act like a bitter" the bully said, making Nayeon's nose emit smoke in anger.
" At least, as a woman, a pretty woman to be exact, I am not begging someone to be her muse" Nayeon insulted the bully.
The bully obviously got offended, she's about to slap Nayeon that made my eyes widen. I’m ready to run towards Nayeon but.....
" The SGC president will not gonna like this," Jeongyeon said in her deep voice, catching the bully's arm before it could land in Nayeon's face.
How could she do that? She's fast. I mentally said.
I saw Tzuyu approach one of this bully's tales and whispered something to her. The girl even smiles shyly.
" I'm not wondering why she's one of the tales of this bully. They are all the same" I whispered and mentally rolled my eyes.
" Ningning, let's go. My love, Tzuyu said the SGC president is on her way here. We can't afford to be involved in trouble for 4 days straight now. We had received the letter from the guidance office in the morning today. We will fucked up" the tale whispered to her boss but I manage to hear it.
MY LOVE, TZUYU HUH? I thought, laughing mentally.
Nayeon with a victory face, still standing with a chin up " Shoooo, go and behave your parents will be disappointed once they will receive many letters in just 1 week" the bunny said.
Having no choice, they walked out but before that they give these 2 women who cause this chaos a flirty look and smile.
" OH, DON'T YOU HAVE ANY THINGS TO DO? GO , THERE IS NO SHOW HERE!" Nayeon shouted at the students around who seemed to be waiting for more episode of this shit.
" Can you calm down? Don't shout." Jeongyeon spoke, I walked and stood beside this fuming bunny.
" Calm your ugly face!" Nayeon shouts at her and walks, bumping Jeongyeon but she forgot she's not that tall and strong.
I shut my eyes closed, " You are really dumb Nayeon" I mumbles, face palmed mentally for I don't know how many times already.
Nayeon almost fell because of bumping on Jeongyeon, but maybe for some reason she had genes of flash running in her blood she quickly catched my dumb friend.
Nayeon immediately stood and pushed Jeongyeon's hands away from her and composed herself. She flipped her hair and sassily walked passed Jeongyeon and Tzuyu. To my embarrassment for that dumb bunny, I just walked them passed without having the courage to glance at them.
" You bunny, you're really putting us in trouble in no time. I will tell this to Rosie. Let's see if you are not gonna behave. You should be thankful that I will not gonna say it to Jen and Bae because of their busy ass and to Ryujin or else you will be fuck up like that bully and her tales...." I'm mumbling non stop as I try to catch up with Nayeon's walk.
TZUYU'S POV
" What's wrong with that whiny pig?" I heard Jeongyeon whisper.
" Is that the effect of Yoo's kiss?" I seriously asked but I'm obviously just teasing her.
" Could you stop mentioning it, Chewy?" She said, annoyed.
" Why does she act like a jealous girlfriend to you?" I asked. She said I would stop mentioning the kiss but she didn't said to me to shut up.
" Jealous? She is just scandalous" Jeongyeon nonchalantly answered.
" I witnessed everything earlier even before she approached you and the girl who proposed to you to be her escort in the ball" I said, I even laughed to know that the girl who proposed to Jeongyeon is a known bully here.
" In addition to that, you made a bully here to beg," I added and chuckled, since no one was around after Nayeon shouted at them. I am free to be the real me when no one is watching us.
" So, you witnessed everything before you came down here? Aishhh, If not because you texted me to go here, that will not gonna happen! And you have the guts to let me there. I almost got in trouble by just doing nothing." She rants.
" You already said, you are doing nothing. You will not get in trouble, the bully will not hesitate to save you. Did you see in her eyes how much she wanted you?" I teased her more.
" Tsk, did you see how that Japanese friend of that whiny pig reacted when you whispered to one of the bully's friends? Is there something between the two of you, huh Chewy? Maybe you are just too shy to admit to us. She looked so jealous. I even caught her staring at you when we had our match against Kai and his team" Jeongyeon teased me back. For some reason, I can't talk back.
Jeongyeon smirks knowing she won teasing me.
"See? That's what you get from teasing me." Jeongyeon walked ahead, I just scratched the back of my head.

THIRD PERSON'S POV
4:00 pm
Ryujin together with her cousin, Chaeyoung and her best friend Yeji are there in Karina's favorite fancy restaurant. They are setting up a surprise for Karina. A surprise proposal that Ryujin planned for her.
While they are all busy, Yeji received a text message that made her stop from what she was doing.
She opened her phone to read the message.
FROM: MS.'I INSIST'
YAH! Where are you? Did you just leave me? I know your work schedule, you don't have any work at this time. Why didn't you wait for me?
(A/N: Nice phone name, right? HAHAHA)
" Ahmm, I think I need to go back to the Campus and get Karina there before she goes home. She's now searching for me. I guess you and Chaeyoung Unnie can finish the remaining stuff before I get back here with her" Yeji talks to Ryujin.
Ryujin smiles widely and her eyes tell how excited she is about their plan. Her sweet smile keeps Yeji's heart in pain. A pain that she's trying to hide, keeping on denying that everything is fine as long as her best friend is happy.
Yeji smiles back and only nods in response. Ryujin goes back to what she's been doing and Yeji's smile fades once Ryujin turns her back from her.
While Yeji is walking her way to the door of the resto, Chaeyoung eyes couldn't stop following Yeji and glance to her all smiley cousin. She saw it, she saw pain from the girl's beautiful cat eyes.
"Cous" She called Ryujin.
" Yes Unnie?" Ryujin answered, her smile caused by the excitement she felt couldn't get off her lips.
" How long is your friendship with Yeji again?" Chaeyoung asked.
" We are childhood friends, Unnie. It started since we are still in pre-school I think" Ryujin answered.
" That's pretty long, does she have a boyfriend?" Chaeyoung asked again.
" NO! She doesn't have Unnie. And if there will be, he needs to pass my standards first" Ryujin said, chuckling.
She doesn't have a boyfriend. Chaeyoung thought and nodded to Ryujin.
" How about a crush? Does she have one?" the interview by Chaeyoung continues.
Ryujin put her fingers to her chin, thinking or remembering if Yeji has one or none.
" Ever since, she never mentioned if she had Unnie. I think she's not into romance. She's too studious to have one and believe me Unnie, I think my friend is numb. Like, she can't feel anything especially about romance." Ryujin said that made Chaeyoung sad about her cousin.
"If you could only see what I saw in her eyes earlier cous" Chaeyoung whispered.
" What Unnie?" Ryujin asked as she didn't hear what her Unnie whispered.
" I said she's too pretty to not have one. But who knows, maybe she's just shy to admit" Chaeyoung said.
" I don't think so, Unnie. I know her." Ryujin confidently said, Chaeyoung only nod to her.
Only 20 minutes had passed, Yeji and Karina were now in front of the resto and everything was already set up. The resto has a sign " CLOSE" that made Karina confused.
" Why is it close? It's too early to close" Karina said, sounding disappointed.
She doesn't have any idea at all and Yeji only made up a story that she wanted to be treated by Karina in the resto that she likes. Yeji knows her best friend is always insisting to buy her this and that or treat her in the expensive resto around Seoul. This way, she knows Karina will not hesitate to come with her.
" I think they just made a mistake. I saw it in the morning. The sign is already closed but there are people still entering the resto" Yeji said, that made Karina's mouth in 'O' shape.
" Okay, then let's go. Let's eat whatever you want" Karina happily took Yeji's hand and dragged her.
I'm sorry. I wanted to talk to you about her surprise proposal but I know you. You will only scold me and decline her proposal. You don't want me to see you hurt but I know somehow you like her but you didn't want to admit it to me because you know my feelings for her since we are still kids. Yeji thought, staring at her best friend, Karina while letting herself drag in the resto.
As Karina and Yeji open the resto's door someone starts to play the guitar and the lights suddenly turn off . Only the lanterns at the ceiling are making the room glow.
The place started to rain petals of roses that added to how romantic the place that already is. Karina can't stop admiring the place while Yeji is standing beside her trying her best to smile.
A spotlight in the middle of the resto reveals Chaeyoung playing the guitar. On her side is Ryujin still wearing that sweet smile while holding a microphone.
Everything seems to move slowly along with the time. Karina and Ryujin make eye contact as Ryujin starts to sing.

Ryujin slowly walks to Karina, without both of them breaking the stares from each other.

Ryujin sings the last line and takes Karina's hand. Without wasting any second, she spoke.
"I want to hold your hand , to be your escort in the ball. Let me take your hand and be your man for that special night, Karina. Can you let me?'' As soon as Ryujin finished her words the surrounding starts to light up revealing Karina's stolen pictures through out from her childhood until the last shot that Ryujin took earlier in their University campus. All the pictures were personally taken by Ryujin.
Karina was surprised and her tears poured down in joy. While something flashes on Yeji's mind.
So, this was the reason why you got mad at me when I just touched your camera when we were in highschool? Yeji thought as she remembers the time that Ryujin didn't talk to her for weeks.
Without wanting to let Yeji hear Karina's answer to Ryujin, Chaeyoung approach Yeji.
" Do you want some hot chocolate? I'm sure you're getting cold too" Chaeyoung offers.
" I can buy you one Unnie, since you help us to make this possible," Yeji said, smiling at Chaeyoung. But Chaeyoung knows it's a fake one.
" It's okay, let me treat you. You can treat me next time" Chaeyoung playfully winks, which made Yeji giggles.
" Okay Unnie, after this so that we can say goodbye to them" Yeji said.
" Actually, Ryujin already told me to give the night to them. She will just call you after this" Chaeyoung said.
Yeji's mouth only forms an 'O' shape and nodded to Chaeyoung.
" So, let's go," Chaeyoung cheerfully said. In response, Yeji only smiles at her and they leave the resto.
JENNIE'S POV
7:00 pm
Kai and I had dinner after I said yes to his proposal in the morning at the campus. However, his Dad needed him in their company. That's why he couldn't drive me home. He insists on waiting for Jackson before he leaves me here in the resto but I know his Dad. So, I told him it's okay and for sure Jackson will be here in no time.
I didn't wait inside the resto anymore. Randomly, I feel like I want to eat ice cream so I thought of walking to the nearest convenient store. Without any reason, I feel like someone is watching me from afar.
I look back to see if there is someone following me but I see no one but the people who are just passing by the streets. Suddenly, I remembered this was not the first time this happened and I started to feel fear. The convenient store is probably 50 meters away from where I am now.
" Just walk fast Jennie" I mumbles and starts to quicken my pace.
Not 2 minutes ago, I noticed a shadow following behind me. This time I lost all my courage to turn back to see who it was. What's on my mind is that the store is about 30 meters away. I just need to continue my pace. My eyes widened when I saw the shadow was about to hold my shoulder but....
" Hey, are you okay?" I bumped into someone and fell into this person's arms. Now, I feel safe.
I know her voice, I look up at her. " Lisa," I mumbled.
"Jennie? What are you doing here alone?" She asked, her voice sounds so gentle. Why can't I see this side of her often?
For a second, what I only did is to stare at her pair of doe eyes that sometimes is giving me a siren vibes.
" Jennie, do you hear me? Are you okay? Why are you walking in the middle of the night alone?" She bombarded me with questions.
" Yes , I'm okay. '' I shortly responded and before I forgot I distanced myself from her a little. I look over my shoulder but I don't see any suspicious person.
" Great, you're okay. So, why are you walking alone here?" She asked me again, and I faced her.
" I had dinner with Kai but he received a call from his Dad and he couldn't drive me home. But to my boredom I decided to walk to the nearest convenient store while waiting for my personal driver" I answered and covered myself with this thin jacket I have. I forgot my coat in Kai's car.
I'm just lowering my head not wanting to look at her. Everytime I have a chance to stare at her eyes, I feel something I can't understand.
" Always have your coat with you" She whispered as she put her black coat on me. I didn't have a chance to react as she lowered her face to me.
" Do you need something in the convenient store, kitten?" She said, her doe eyes are looking at my feline ones directly.
However, what I notice is the name she used to call me. " Did you just call me kitten?" I put both of my hands on my hips. You know this is my attack position in case she made a mistake in her answer.
" What do you prefer, small or kitten? Although they are just the same, there is no difference at all. I mean you're still small" she said while sounding like an innocent kid. I don't know if she is teasing or insulting me.
" I prefer you to call me vice president" I said and starting to walk again.
" Okay, kitten," she said, as she walked beside me.
I am about to smack her but this tall creature is too tall for a smack in the head.
" Do you want me to kneel for you to achieve what you're supposed to do?" she said, and grinned at me.
In revenge, I kick her butt but I'm still unsuccessful!
If only I didn't sacrificed my sleep in highschool I'm not this small! I frustratedly thought.
" You have short legs. Want to kick my butt?" She is now starting to be annoying again!
" Tsk, I just have mercy and it made me realize it's bad to kick someone's ass" I reasoned out and she just shrugged.
Finally I'm already here in the store with this tall creature. I immediately went to the ice cream section.
" Wowwwwww" I was surprised with how much flavor of ice cream they have here.
" You almost froze outside and you will eat ice cream?" She decided to open her mouth again. I wonder why I never see this side of her when we are on campus.
" It's not that cold here tho" I said while my eyes were locked on my target. I picked 2 milk ice creams.
" Here" I offer to her the other one. It's my way to say thank you that I bumped into her there.
" Can I have the chocolate one?" She asked like a little kid.
Is there an innocent kid behind this giant creature? I mentally questioned.
Because in my curiosity I didn't notice she already picked the chocolate ice cream she wanted.
" Since you look like you're craving for that, take that two" She said, and walked to the counter.
In just several steps she was already at the counter.
"Yeah, perks of having long legs that I don't have" I mumbled and followed her in the counter.
The lady cashier shyly smiled at this tall creature, " Actually, you don't need to pay for it hottie" she bit her lips but Lisa's poker face remained.
Is she trying to flirt with Lisa? I questioned mentally, staring at this cashier with so much judgement.
" Why?" Lisa simply responded to her.
" Ahm, we have a promo here. If you buy around 7pm you can get the ice cream for free" the flirty cashier said, giving her flirtatious smile to Lisa. This is the most horrible explanation I ever heard in my whole life.
" But it doesn't make sense? Do you mean if I buy something around 7 pm then I can get this ice cream for free?" Lisa is obviously intrigued with the 'promo' that this flirt is saying.
" Yeah, something like that." the lady cashier continues to flirt.
" Why do you sound unsure with your store's own promo?" Lisa asked.
I smirk, " Do you think you can easily flirt with a smart person? Promo your ass" I whispered.
" Promo, what promo? We don't have any promo here" an old man suddenly appeared. I assumed either he is the owner or the manager of this store.
The mission failed. Failed miserably. I thought, laughing internally.
The cashier got scolded by the old man.
I get my wallet in my bag and supposedly I will pay for our ice cream.
"My treat" She already paid for it.
I run to her and walk side by side with her as we search for a good area to sit.
"There" she pointed at the mini table at the back. We sit there and start to eat our ice cream.
I'm enjoying my ice cream at peace when she decided to ask a question again.
" Why you look so scared earlier?" She asked, her expression became serious.
" When I bumped on you, did you see someone behind me?" I asked her back.
"Why?" She asked me back too.
" I almost ran earlier because I felt like someone was chasing me. Although I didn't turn my back, I saw a shadow behind me. It tries to reach me but I bumped on you" I explained, my body hair starts to stand.
" Did you receive any text message from your personal driver? If he's on his way now? To walk alone in the middle of the night is not safe at all." Lisa said, I checked my phone to see if I received one.
" Oh, he is on his way here now. He replied for about 10 minutes ago. So maybe not in a few minutes he will arrived here" I said, she nodded in response and continues to eat her ice cream. I do the same.
5 minutes have passed.
" Arghhhh, milk ice cream never disappoints me" I said while closing my eyes in satisfaction as I finished eating my two ice creams.
I got shy when I noticed Lisa was sitting with her back leaning on the chair with cross arms on her chest and she was staring at me. She smiled a bit when I looked at her of course I smiled back.
" Thank you for the 2 ice creams" I almost forgot to thank her.
" You're welcome kitten" She said, I just jokingly rolled my eyes to her.
Since she treats me, I will not gonna complain calling me kitten.
* Phone rings
I picked up my phone.
[ On the Call ]
"Miss Jennie, I'm already here outside the convenient store"
" Oh, okay. Wait a second"
" Okay, Miss"
I ended the call.
" I guess, it's your driver. So, let's go?" Lisa said, and stood from her seat.
" Let's go," I said.
LISA'S POV
Since Jennie's driver arrived we left the convenient store. Her driver's back is facing us.
" Jackson" Jennie calls her, he faces us .
" Miss Jen-" He was not able to finish his words when his eyes landed on me.
I got surprised too but I remained my face in poker.
" Miss Jennie" He repeated and bowed his head to us.
" Thank you again, Lisa" Jennie thanked again, showing her gummy smile.
" You're welcome, kitten." She didn't complain anymore and just smiled.
" Okay, I think I'll go now," She said, I nodded.
His driver opened the car's door. She is about to enter the car but she suddenly turned around to face me again.
" But how about you?" She cutely asked.
" I have my baby with me, don't worry" I answered, her mouth only formed an 'O' shaped.
" Okay, bye" and she finally entered the car.
" Lisa" Jackson mumbled my name as soon as he closed the car's door.
" I didn't expect to see you, Jackson. I have a lot of questions for you but this is not the right time and place. Please, take her home safely." I said.
Jackson bowed, " I’m glad to see you again, Lis" I nodded and he finally entered the car too and drive away.
" Jackson Wang" I mumbles.
