At the side of the road in the middle of a dessert, Max and the kids are enjoying a stew that the retired Plumber made.
"Well, what do you think?" Max asked. "Bet you never tasted anything like that before."
"Hm, what's the crunchy stuff?" Ben asked.
"Dung beetles."
Hearing his answer, Ben and Gwen stopped chewing their food and quickly spitted them out off their mouths.
"What? Too spicy?" Max asked. "You'll get use to it."
"I don't think they will." Y/n said in concern while chewing his meal.
Suddenly, an alarm went off. A screen came down from the cabinet above them and displayed an image to Max.
"No." Max narrowed his eyes on the screen.
"Grandpa, what is it?" Ben asked.
"The Mask of Ah Puch." Max showed the kids the image on the screen.
"It's the key to the most powerful and destructive weapon ever created." Max explained.
The next thing they know, Max is driving passed the Texas border as a holographic map is displaying on the front window with a red dot on it, showing the location of the mask.
"The Mask of Ah Puch is the guide to the sword of Ek Chuaj. The Plumbers searched for it for decades without any luck." Max narrated.
"Ek Chuaj..." Y/n repeated as he jotting down the information into his journal. "Where have I heard that before?"
"The Mayan God of War." Gwen answered from her computer. "His sword was rumored to level entire cities in one swipe."
Ben scoffed. "Sound like just the kind of thing the most powerful 10 year old boy should have."
"This is serious, Ben." Max said sternly. "Whoever controls the sword, control the destiny of mankind. And I will not let it fall into the wrong hands."
The kids are surprised by Max's declaration as they shared each other a glance of worries.
After a long drives, they made it to an old field and looking at the main office building from a distance.
"Bet they're keeping it in the basement." Max assumed. "Ben, you go alien and sneak in. Then open the side door for us."
"Sneak in? Don't you mean break in?" Ben grinned.
"Ben, I don't have time to explain how important it is to get the mask. Now, can I count on you or not?"
Ben blinked. "You now you can, grandpa."
Without a word, Max walked to the back and reached the closet as the kids looked at him with concern gaze.
"What's up with grandpa? He's so, uh, intense.." Ben whispered.
"Cut him some slack, will ya? He's trying to save the world." Gwen protested.
"Still, he's kinda obsessive to find this mask." Y/n pointed out.
After voicing out their worries, Ben transformed into Grey Matter.
"Shouldn't Ghostfreak been the obvious choice?" Y/n asked Ben's choices.
"I don't feel like myself when turn into him unlike the rest of the aliens." Grey Matter stated.
The frog alien hopped out from the vehicle, and Y/n watched him infiltrate the building through a sewer.
"Is there a possibility that Ghostfreak's DNA is alive inside the Omnitrix?" Y/n muttered. "How in the world did able to make that kind of theory?"
Max and the kids followed suits, sneaking their way to the basement access door. They waited for awhile until the knob twisted on it own. Max pulled the door open, and Grey Matter jumped out.
The retired Plumber headed in first, followed with the kids as Grey Matter perching on his partner's shoulder. They navigated the hallway and made it to a room where they found a safe.
"It has to be in here." Max assumed.
"I'm on it." Y/n placed his ear on the safe's door and began to turning the lock left and right.
Using his enhanced hearing he got from the Nemetrix, he unlocked the safe. Max turned the knob open to reveal the mask inside.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Max narrated.
"Uh, well, not exactly.." Grey Matter commented dryly.
Sensing multiple presences from behind, Y/n turned around and glared. "Who's there?!"
Max and the others alerted by Y/n. They turned around to see 3 figures in a medieval armor and mask.
"I thought you are retire from the Plumbing business, Mr. Tennyson." The leader recalled. "Or may I call you Max?"
"Who are you, people?" Max glared.
"I am Enoch of the Forever Knights." The leader introduced. "Now, would you kindly to hand over the mask?"
Y/n's hair shivered, sensing malice from the Forever Knight as he growling at them. Seeing Y/n's reacting, Max grabbed the mask on his hands.
"Over my dead body." Max glared at the Forever Knights.
"Excellent suggestion." Enoch replied. "Gentlemen."
Following Enoch's order, the two knights drew out an energy swords. But then, the security entered the room, startling everyone.
Using the opportunity, Y/n tossed Grey Matter at Enoch as the frog alien covered the knight's eyes. Y/n transformed into Ork as Max and Gwen raced out the room. Ork managed to knock the knights away, including Enoch. He quickly grabbed Grey Matter and chased after Max and Gwen. Luckily, they managed to escape with the Rv but with some property damages on public property due to Ork's size.

After another long drive, they arrived at an ancient Mayan temple of Ek Chuaj deep in the Mexican jungle. They are here because the mask showed a holographic map to the temple.
Although, they had to hide the Rv behind the forest because the Forever Knights somehow beat them to it with a helicopter. Right now, they're attempting to blow the front door with explosive.
After donning with his old Plumber suit, Max guided the kids to another part of the temple.
"There's always a secret entrance to this temples." Max gazed around the wall.
Noticing the mask's eyes glowed on Max's belt, Y/n quietly snatched it and followed his instinct to wear it. Peering through the mask, Y/n spotted one of the stone in the wall is glowing.
"Found it." Y/n approached the stone and pushed it, revealing the secret entrance. "Open sesame."
They walked into the temple and as they walked deeper, they slowly loosing light.
"The sword will be kept in the centre on the lowest floor. There should be some stairs nearby." Max assumed.
"Stairs? Aw, man. Where's the express elevator when you really need it?" Ben complained.
As they lost their light source, Max lighted up a torch just before Y/n about the fell of a ledge down a deep cavern. Fortunately, he managed to balance himself as he fell to the back.
"That was close." Max approached Y/n and took the mask back to his belt. "Almost lost the mask."
Max continued the quest, not realizing that the kids stared at Max in disbelief.
They found a wooden stairs leading down below and carefully climbing it down. Although, Ben accidentally snapped its twig, triggering the booby traps. The ground began to shake violently before the ceiling is coming apart.
Beb and Y/n quickly transformed into Stinkfly and Hypnotick respectively and grabbed hold on Max and Gwen. The two fliers flew down to the darkness as they dodging falling rubbles.
At last, they managed to escape death once again as they landed at the bottom. The aliens transformed back and then followed Max till they found an enormous door. In front of that said door is a stand with a the mask slot in it.
Y/n's hair shivered and as soon as he and Max turned around, Enoch and the Forever Knights are holding both Ben and Gwen hostage.
"Let them go!" Max aimed his blaster at the Forever Knights.
"The mask first." Enoch demanded. "Unless you want your hands covered by blood of your own grandchildren."
Seeing no other choices, Max dropped his blaster. Enoch approached the retired Plumber and took the mask off from his hand.
Then, the Forever Knights guided Max and the kids to a large dark pit. After Max took off all of his equipment and gadgets, he and the kids are standing by the edge of the pit with the Forever Knights in front of them.
"Legend has it that the Eternal Pit of Despair is bottomless." Enoch narrated. "Let's find out."
Enoch proceed to kick the boys into the pit. Not long after, they transformed into Drex and Buglizard. Using their strength, they held onto the walls to stop themselves from falling.
"Phew, that was close." Drex sighed in relief.
Then, an incoming scream of panic from above alerted the two. Drex caught Gwen, and Buglizard caught Max. They then proceed to climb out of the pit and once they're out, Max quickly reached out his equipments and gadgets back.
"Grandpa, I think Gwen need a minute to catch a breath." Drex suggested as he gazed to the tired Gwen on his shoulder.
"No can do." Max refused. "Enoch may already have the sword."
Out of nowhere, Buglizard launched Max to the ground with his taile. Max is about to get up, but Buglizard pinned him down with his claw on his chest.
"Y/n, what are you doing?!" Max demanded but earned a loud growl on his face.
"Grandpa, listen to us." Drex went to Buglizard's side. "Ever since that alarm went off, that sword is all you think about!"
"You two have keep your eyes on the prize and remember what's important here!"
Annoyed by Max response, Buglizard growled more and tightened his claws on Max's suit. Drex kneeled down and placed his hand on Buglizard's back, calming his partner down.
"We do remember." Drex said to Max. "Do you?"
A loud roar from the opened chamber caught their attention. Buglizard released Max and rushed to the scene with the rest followed. They peeked around the corner and found the Forever Knights are fighting a large creature.
And behind the said creature is a tower with the sword of Ek Chuaj on top of it.
"Is that who I think it is?" Drex wandered, implying the creature.
"It must be Ah Puch, the Mayan god of death and the underworld." Max recalled. "He's the guardian of the Sword of Ek Chuaj."
Gwen gazed to Buglizard who softly growl, as if the lizard has different opinion regarding the so-called god.
"What if gods of old myth are actually aliens who came to earth long ago and humans believed them to be deities?" Gwen voiced out Buglizard's opinion. "Like the Loch Ness monster we've encountered before are actually an alien."
"We can talk about conspiracy theory another time." Max dismissed it. "Ben, Y/n, keep Ah Puch occupied while we get the sword."
Max and Gwen rushed to the tower and began to climb up. Ah Puch noticed the two but Drex called out the beast.
"Come and get us some, you rock puke." Drex taunted.
Ah Puch charged to Drex but got tackle by Buglizard from the side. The lizard grabbed hold onto the beast's back, but Ah Puch showed to have an unbelievable strength, easily pulling Buglizard off his back and tossed him to Drex.
The so-called god charged at the two and smashed them through the walls. The two alien heroes recovered as Ah Puch approach fast. As it about to close the gap, Buglizard breathed out his gas at Ah Puch's face to startle it. Drex proceed to take the opportunity to sent some strong punches on his opponent while Buglizard sneaked away.
Ah Puch caught Drex's incoming punch and then caught another. Before it could even counter attack, Buglizard's tail wrapped its leg and tripped it over. After raising both of his arms to the air, Drex slammed his fist down to Ah Puch's head.
Drex wrapped his arms around his opponent's head and armpit and began to swing Ah Puch's around before he tossed it through the wall back to the chamber. Drex jumped out from the hole that Ah Puch went through and launched his feet at his opponent.
Although, the so-called god rolled back before impact and pinned Drex to the wall. Buglizard came to assist from the side, but Ah Puch grabbed him in the air pinned him next to Drex.
Ah Puch slammed them down to the ground and proceed to pulverize the two mercilessly. On top of the tower, the boys caught a glimpse of Enoch preparing to kill both Max and Gwen.
As if adrenaline kicked in, Buglizard jumped on Ah Puch and kicked it away as he leaped back to Drex's side. Ah Puch staggered by the sudden attack before Drex rushed forward and launched the so-called god to the tower with a twin uppercut.
The impact caused both Max and Gwen to fall and landed on the unconscious Ah Puch. The two heroes rushed to check on them, but they transformed back.
"Uh-oh." Y/n voiced out his worries.
"Double uh-oh." Ben added. "Look!"
Max and the kids looked up to see that Enoch has his hands on the sword's handle.
"At last!" Enoch pulled out the sword. "The ultimate weapon. The world shall kneel before me."
As Enoch raised the sword above his head, the sword suddenly turned to dust.
"Okay... that happened." Y/n commented.
"What is exactly happened?" Ben asked before Max laughed out loud.
"Guess that's what happens when your ultimate weapon is 5,000 years old." Max mused.
Not a moment later, the temple began to crumble around them. Max and the kids managed to escape, leaving Enoch collecting the remaining sword inside the collapsing temple.
"Kids, I owe you all a hefty apology." Max said sincerely. "How I acted during all of this is inexcusable. Can you forgive me?"
"Of course, grandpa." Gwen smiled.
"Don't worry about it." Ben added.
Max then looked to Y/n with others followed, waiting for his answer. The Nemetrix wielder reached out his pocket and pulled out a polypropylene plastic bags filled with dung beetles.
"Dung beetles?" Y/n offered with a grin.
Both Ben and Gwen voiced out their disgust while Max gladly accepted the offer.
"Thank you, son." Max said.
"Don't mention it... Max." Y/n winked on his name.
