Casey Becker? Let's face it, if she's dead then she probably tried fucking the killer or something...
Chapter 001: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅𝒔 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅
🖤
Welcome to the worst week of Blair Atredies life. Aka the girl everyone wanted to be. The world revolved around her. She was the princess of Woodsboro high, it was like the students knew not to fuck with Blair Atredies. She carried herself with confidence, it also helped that she was drop dead gorgeous- she knew she could get any boy she wanted and that's what kept the girls ego strong.
She was the head cheerleader and had successfully bagged spring fling Queen of '95 and Blair was determined to continue that streak...96' was her year she was going to win Prom Queen and no one was going to stand in the way of that. Her older sister Selene had won it 7 years prior, Selene was 24 and working in a hairdressers in the main square of Woodsboro. Blair was pretty sure that wasn't her sisters life long dream but it had to do because they were by themselves, the sisters parents had been killed in a car accident 4 years ago- drunk driver...What else is knew? Anyway, Blair chose to ignore the tragedy she didn't want anyone to see her as weak otherwise they'd take advantage of that and she had to stay on top no matter what
Selene done her best to take care of her little sister but Blair was a handful and she knew it. So instead of taking a motherly approach to continuing to raise her sister she chose to be her friend instead of ordering her around and honestly that worked better. Of course there were times where Selene had to yell at her sister or set boundaries with her but that was normal it was never anything too extreme.
Blair adored her friends, her two girlfriends Sidney Prescott and Tatum Riley were a godsend. Sidney was your basic girl next door stereotype, she was sweet, kind, and passionate. Blair was sure the girl didn't have a bad bone in her body but there was always a skeleton in the closet, for Sidney it was her mothers gruesome death last year. Maureen Prescott had been brutally butchered and raped, Blair felt terrible for the girl and tried her best to be there for whatever she needed- she knew what it was to lose a parent. Then there was Tatum Riley, Blair didn't know what she'd do without her. Tatum was also on the cheer squad, she had more of a rebellious vibe than Sidney. Tatum was feisty, caring and sarcastic sometimes Blair wondered how her 10/10 best friend ended up with Stu Macher.
Speaking of, there were 3 boys in their group of friends. Stu Macher who was a lanky, outspoken, jokester who didn't know where the line was when it came to his jokes. Blair adored the boy- even if he was a pain in her ass all the damn time. He was still handsome and made her laugh, he also had a soft side to him that only people in the inner circle actually witnessed and she was glad she was one of them. Then there was Randy Meeks the horror movie obsessed nerd you couldn't help but love, originally, Blair had thought associating herself with him was social suicide but the more time she spent around him the more she came to love him. He was irritating sure but the two of them got on better than anyone in the hell hole called school could've ever thought, Randy was a fun, loveable, idiot and Blair somehow always found herself watching movies with him and arguing over plots, characters, actors and wether or not the sequels beat the original- which was very rare.
Finally there was Billy Loomis. Blair didn't know where to start. There was something about him that could keep anyone on edge, he was extremely good looking- anyone would tell you that- but he was also dark, mysterious and protective. Currently, he was dating Sidney, but they'd been very on and off the past year since Sidney's mother died and Billy's mother skipped town. They both had mommy issues and neither got therapy, maybe that's why they were having so many issues, maybe that's why Blair allowed herself to be so captivated by Billy. She was the worlds worst friend, and she wasn't pleased about it. It had started at a infamous Stu Macher party that had been thrown to celebrate Woodsboro highs football team winning the championship trophy. Both Stu and Billy were apart of said team so naturally the three girls had all ended up at the party along with the cheer squad, after a drink or two Blair had spotted Billy and Sidney share a kiss which soured her mood. She knows it shouldn't bother her- it's her best friends boyfriend for Christ's sake! But he was Billy, he'd flirt with her all the time whenever Sidney wasn't around. He'd climb through her window watch some slasher flick he'd selected and sometimes stay the night. He was there for her when her parents died, in fact he was the only person that saw her cry other than Selene Atredies. That made him special in her eyes and he sure as hell felt special.
Anyway she'd gone up to the bathroom to touch up her makeup while her friends made out with their boyfriends. It's not like she didn't have boys lined up to date her but she didn't want just anyone...she wanted him. Billy had noticed her stalk off alone and decided to go check on her leaving his girlfriend with their other friends. It didn't take him long to find her, she acted sour towards him and his inflated ego knew why. That's why after a short argument he kissed her, and clearly he wasn't wrong because she kissed him back. That's all she's ever wanted, and she held onto that for as long as she could until she finally realised what she'd done and pushed him away claiming she couldn't do that to Sidney. That statement didn't last long, as soon as Billy had told her how much he appreciated and loved her, had told her it was always her- no one else, not even Sidney. She'd cracked. Billy had also told her that he'd been wanting to break up with Sidney for months but he didn't want to add more pain on top of her mothers murder. Blair understood that.
One thing lead to another and here they currently was sneaking around behind their friends backs in a secret situation ship of their own. And Blair had never ever been happier...
🖤
Sat on her white floral bedsheets, Blair wore small cotton shorts with a cropped strappy top and grey leg warmers. She was watching nightmare on elm street, everyone knew it was her favourite movie mainly because she had the biggest crush on Jonny Depp- that was probably why she was so attracted to Billy...they looked awfully similar, in fact her and Randy teased him about it all the time. It was pretty late at night around 11, her sister was asleep down the hall. Blair was starting to grin seeing what part of the movie was coming up when a knock at her window caused the girl to jump sitting up. She looked over at her window seeing a all too familiar figure crouched down, she rolled her eyes walking over lifting the window up letting Billy Loomis inside "I'm starting to think you hate me drawling over Jonny Depp" Blair told the boy with a playful smirk, he smiled climbing inside "well it's certainly not ideal when I'm right here"
She chuckled sitting on the edge of her bed "bold of you to assume I'd want you over him" Billy ran a hand through his hair chuckling as he approached the girl who leaned back on her hands, he leaned down coming to eye level with her his eyes darting between her lips and her eyes "you know you do" she smiled before pushing him away gently
"so what you doing here, Billy? Missing me already?"
He grinned at her as he walked around her room acting as if it was his first time inside, studying posters on the walls or pictures in their frames "well I was watching the exorcist and...it got me thinking of you"
Blair scoffed with a raised eyebrow "I would love to hear how a little girl turning into a demon reminded you of me?" Billy laughed gently his brown eyes full of amusement "I'm joking, you remind me more of Laurie Strode anyway"
Blair smirked "cause I'm final girl material or because I have a good scream?" Billy paused as he turned to look at her with darkening eyes, she laughed to herself seeing the effect she had on him "can I say both?"
She shrugged thinking about it for a second "I'll accept it for now"
He raised his brows laughing as he strolled towards her "for now?" He leaned down meeting her eyes, she bit her lip laughing her blue eyes sparkling as she looked up at him "yeah, for now"
His eyes flickered from her eyes to her lips, she then leaned upwards closing the gap, Billy smirked as he kissed her back hungrily. One hand cupped her jaw while the other slid behind the girl lifting her upwards further up the bed as he laid her down climbing on top of her. His stray hand travelled up her thigh, butterfly's settled in Blair's stomach as Billy's lips moved down her neck. She let her hands travel to the muscles on his back. The two passionately and lustfully lip locked, both exploring each other. They both felt a adrenaline rush whenever they did this, the thrill of not getting caught, letting their friends all think they were just best friends like they had been since they were 5 years old.
Blair knew she was terrible for letting Billy have such a effect on her but he was everything she craved he showed her love like no one else had, she was completely captivated and now there was no going back.
🖤
The next morning, Blair woke up feeling a empty spot beside her. She groaned opening a eye seeing no Billy Loomis to be found, she put her head back into her pillow but her moments of peace were quickly cut off by her bedroom door swinging open "Blair get your ass up! Your gonna be late" Selene yelled walking across the room pulling the curtains open "five more minutes" Blair grumbled closing her eyes again, Selene Atredies sighed looking at her sister with a annoyed expression. Selene was a auburn haired women with the same bright blue eyes and prominent cheekbones, it seemed that Blair had gotten the raven gene and Selene got the auburn. They were small differences with the sisters, Blair looked more like their mom and Selene resembled their father. There was not doubt the two were related.
"Blair, don't think I don't know what you and Loomis were doing in here last night. If you can't handle the exhaustion then don't do the deed on a Sunday night! Now get up!" Her sister pulled the white sheets off making Blair groan before sitting up in annoyance "are you done?!"
Selene laughed before walking out of the room. Blair looked at her alarm clock before her eyes widened "shit!".
When the girl pulled up to the school she saw a bunch of news vans surrounding the school yard, the girl turned down Fantasy by Mariah Carey as she put her 83 maroon BMW into park. What the actual fuck was going on? She thought to herself grabbing her handbag as she climbed out of the car looking around in confusion when she spotted Sidney walking up the path looking just as confused
Jogging over, Blair hooked her arm with Sidney's "what's with all the cameras? Did someone die?" Sidney smiled softly looking at her friend "I have no idea" Sidney paused her eyes locking onto Gale Weathers wearing a highlighter yellow suit, Blair glared at the women as she scoffed "feel like I need sunglasses just to look at the bitch" here's the thing since Sid's mothers death she had beef with the older women. Gale had given Sidney a tough time in the trial and in her book that she'd written about the murder- it wasn't even out yet and they already knew Gale was throwing Sid under the bus for fame. If Blair ever got her hands on the women she'd be buried in a plot right beside Maureen.
Sidney laughed quietly before Tatum snuck up on the girls "can you believe this shit?" The two both jumped before turning to see their blonde friend that was dressed in a tight yellow top and red plaid skirt. Blair loved Tatums style, their shopping trips was quite literally the light of Blair Atredies life. Sidney was more simple and cute in her blue wash jeans and baby blue T-shirt, Blair had picked out a yellow and white stripped zip up short sleeved jumper with a small denim skirt had barely went past her ass, paired with white sneakers and a white belt
"god, Tatum, what's going on?"
Tatums jaw dropped "you two don't know? Casey Becker and Steve Orth were killed last night" Blair's head snapped towards Tatum her eyes wide "what? No way!" Sidney gasped before they continued walking into the school, Tatum nodded humming "and we're not just talking killed, we're talking splatter-movie killed. Ripped open from end to end" Tatum spoke as if it was a juicy bit of gossip that you'd share at a sleepover- of course Blair thought it deserved that title but Sidney not so much
The raven haired girl laughed "Casey Becker? Let's face it if she's dead then she probably tried fucking the killer or something" Tatum giggled before she stopped seeing Sidney's worried face "Casey Becker? She sits next to me in English" Sidney said looking back towards Tatum ignoring Blair's insensitive comment "not anymore" Blair spoke tilting her head gently to look at Sid
"it was so sad her mom and dad, they found her hanging from a tree her insides on the outside"
"Oh my god, do they know who did it?" Sidney gasped looking at her friend who got all the inside gossip from her older brother who was the deputy in this town. His name was Dwight but everyone called him Dewey- a nickname he got stuck with young but Blair thought it suited him better than Dwight anyway...I mean who calls their kid Dwight? Blair thought it was pure evil- like sending their kid to a early grave especially with high school kids.
Tatum leaned over "fucking clueless, they're interrogating the entire school, teachers, students, janitors..."
Blair raised a eyebrow looking at her friends questionably "so they think it's school related?"
Tatum shrugged "they have no clue. Dewey said this is the worst murder in Woodsboro since..." Tatum stopped herself the trio coming to a pause by the school door entrance. Sidney and Blair knew what Tatum was hinting at, Blair widened her eyes at her blonde friend as if telling her to shut the fuck up before Sidney breaks. Tatum sent Sid a apologetic look as she continued "well...it's bad...".
