Techno woke up at 9am.
Not a good sleep but not a horrible one.
It took them a few moments to remember the events of yesterday at which point he turned to Wilbur's bed.
Gone.
Techno panicked slightly.
He rushed into the hall.
Maybe he was just downstairs already.
Phil and Kristins bedroom door was closed and no noise could be heard from inside.
Techno doubted Wil would go downstairs by himself with people he didnt know.
Unless Tommy was already awake.
They swung open the door to the room across the hall and Tommy looked up at him sleepily.
He muttered something about the hall being bright and pointed to Wilbur, who was lying on the carpeted floor next to Tubbos bed.
No one knew at what point he moved rooms, but somehow he ended up on the floor, sleeping next to his brother.

After breakfast they just hung out around the house so they werent so tired.
"Sym- sorry love, Orion could you pass me that please?" Phil's mum asked as she was cooking with Techno.
Techno smiled slightly and handed her what she was asking for.
Wilbur smiled from his seat at the table where he was doing a puzzle with Tommy and Tubbo.
This just proved homophobia was taught, and if older people wanted to accept LGBTQ+ people, they could. Even if it took some adjusting.
Tommy yelled as they almost finished the puzzle. "IT'S MISSING ONE BIT."
"Tommy it's on the floor." Tubbo said calmly. He'd kind of adjusted to yelling but still didnt like it.
"Oh." Tommy said quietly. "It is."
Phil's mum laughed lightly and smiled at Techno.

They'd reached just over 6 months of living with Phil and his family and Wilbur was excited.
He hadn't thought a family could be so nice.
He loved it here.
He just worried because he'd heard about the foster system from Techno and sometimes you can get moved.
"Wil?" Phil called up the stairs.
"Yeah?"
"Can you come down here a sec? We wanna talk to you."
Wil got worried instantly but tried to stay calm.
"Yeah?" He asked as he sat down on the sofa opposite Phil and Kristin. Techno was there too, sat on the floor.
"So you've been living with us 6 months-"
"Are the foster system moving us? Phil please don't make us go, i like it here-" Wil said panickedly.
He continued rambling about not wanting to move and how he felt safe with them while Kristin tried to calm him down.
"Wilbur you're not moving houses."
"W-what's going on then? Are we going back to him?" Wilbur asked, getting more worried by the second.
"No, Wil you're not going any-"
"Mum and Dad want to adopt you and Tubbo." Techno cut him off.
"W-What?"
"Yeah. We wanna adopt you. I know you've only been here a bit and we still have... some adjusting to do to help you but we'd like to adopt you two." Phil smiled.
"So... we live here?"
"Yes."
"And we don't get moved?"
"No."
"And... he wouldn't be our dad anymore?" Wil asked.
"No. Not legally anyway." Phil answered.
"Like... we'd be part of your family?"
"Yes." Phil said happily. "Only if you want to be of course."
"Yes." Wilbur smiled. "Definitely yes."
"Well then, we'll get started with the process."

"Mum i don't like these shoes."
"You have to look smart Techno." Kristin said.
"But their uncomfy."
"I know, it's just for a few hours." Kristin tried to reason.
"Why have you made me put them on already? Tommy's not even ready."
"What? Oh my- what has he been doing all morning?"
"Uhhh... sleeping and Minecraft." Techno replied.
"Tell me he's at least part dressed."
"I think he was starting to get dressed as i walked down the stairs."
"For gods sake-" Kristin said as she walked off to find Tommy.
Wilbur walked past her and laughed.
"Hi Techno."
"Hiya Wilbur. I'm so excited for you to be adopted." Techno smiled, jumping on the spot slightly. "I hate this outfit though. It's uncomfy and different."
"Do you have to wear it?" Wilbur asked, looking at Techno's button up shirt and dress trousers.
"Mum said so."
"Oh. That's annoying."
"I know. I'm gonna try sneak on different shoes though. I'm hoping if she's busy getting Tommy ready then she'll not look at what shoes i'm wearing."
"Good idea. Maybe it will be better if you wear shoes you like, even if the rest of the clothes are uncomfy."
Techno nodded.
Phil walked up behind wilbur and bonked him on the head.
"Hi."
"Hi. I'm excited. And nervous. A bit of both."
"Same." Phil said. "I've done this once before but still."
Techno stood anxiously.
"You ok Tech?"
He just shrugged.
"Can you handle a hug?"
Techno shook his head.
"What's up?" Phil asked.
Techno just stared off into space.
"Hey, Orion? What's up?"
"Shoes." Techno muttered.
"What about em?"
"Don't like."
"Did Kris ask you to wear them?"
Techno nodded.
"Wear your black boots. That way they still look fancy, just more comfy too, ok?" Phil said.
Techno nodded and happily took of his shoes.
"Where's Tubbo?" Wilbur asked.
"Uhmmm... living room i think." Phil said.
Wilbur nodded and went to find him.
"Tubso, watcha doing?" Wilbur asked, sitting down next to Tubbo.
"I don't know." Tubbo replied. He was sat on the sofa, staring off into space.
"You ok?"
"If Phil adopts us does that mean dad can't get us back?" Tubbo asked quickly.
"No he can't get us back. And he's not dad remember? Soon, Phil will be dad."
Tubbo smiled weakly.
"Now c'mon, Kristin is trying to get everyone out the door and Tommy's not even done yet. I think we better go wait for them."
"Yeah." Tubbo smiled.

"Thomas get out the door." Kristin said.
"How long will it be? Am i gonna get bored?" Tommy asked.
"Just go sit in the car."
"Fineeeee."
"Are we ready?" Kristin asked.
"Think so." Phil smiled and followed Tommy out to the car.

"Mum why is Techno allowed to wear his normal shoes?" Tommy asked as they stepped onto the curb infront of the courthouse.
"What- Techno-"
"It was my fault." Phil admitted. "They said they didn't like the shoes so i let him wear his boots because they still look smart."
"But i said-"
"He was overstimulated and anxious and looked like they were about to cry." Phil muttered as they walked towards the doors.
"Ok, i'm sorry."
