It had been about two days since you had taken Bill to the doctor and he was completely healed. Luckily it had been just a cold so he wasn't seriously sick.
(Just a sick mind, am I right guys! Heh heh.....okay I'll go now.)
You were back at work too, which was nice since you got to see your best friends every day. They were acting sort of weird around you though, you weren't completely sure why.
On Wednesday at work you caught Dipper whispering to Mabel behind the counter. "Uh, Dipper?" You said kind of loudly. He screamed and jumped up, then tried to casually play it off by rubbing his arm and chuckling nervously. "We really need to work on your people skills Dip," you pointed out with a smirk.
"Come on Dip Dip," Mabel laughed, then turned to you. "Sorry about that y/n, we were just discussing usual boring twin stuff, you know." She then began to drag Dipper, who was still rubbing the back of his head nervously, out of the room. As soon as they were gone Soos entered.
"Yo, Soos," you said, crossing your arms, "why are Mabel and Dipper acting so strange? Is there something you're not telling me?"
"No way dude," Soos replied, then glanced back and forth suspiciously, "even if there was I couldn't tell you." You let out a frustrated groan and grabbed your purse. You were going to find out what was going on.
When you finally got home, Bill was waiting for you in the kitchen. "Whoa, you cooked dinner? Good job," you laughed. The two of you sat down and ate as you complained about what was going on. "I hate people hiding things from me," you sighed once you had finished ranting about Dipper, Soos, and Mabel's secrecy.
"You do?" Bill asked, raising an eyebrow. He had that signature smirk on his face, which made you raise an eyebrow. "Biiillll," you warned, "are you hiding something too?"
He chuckled. "Fine, fine, you wanna be let in on what's going on? I guess I can't keep it a secret much longer," he pointed to the cupboard. "Would you go get me some salt?"
"What?"
"Just go get it y/n," he said with a wink. You sighed and got up, walking over to the wooden cupboard and opening the door to see....a small box?
"Bring it over here," Bill said and you did. He took it from you and opened it up. Before you could even think about what was happening he got down on one knee and you could now see the contents of the box...an engagement ring.
"Y/n," Bill said, "I know its only been about a year and a half? Since we met but...I've lived a long time and I've never met anyone like you. I love you and would do anything for you. Anything! Even turn into a walking meatsack," he chuckled a bit before continuing, "so I guess what I'm trying to ask is....
....would you marry me?"
