"What's happened to Jimin? Please wake up, baby, I'm so worried," Jungkook pleaded, tears welling up in his eyes as he looked at Jimin.
"Jungkook, son, quickly take Jimin to the hospital," Jungkook's mom urged, her voice filled with concern. Jungkook nodded, gently picking Jimin up and rushing them all to the hospital.
"Don't worry, Jungkook, he'll be fine soon," Mr. Jeon assured his son, sitting beside him on the bench as they waited anxiously. Jungkook sat silently, tears streaming down his face, his mom comforting him on the other side.
"Dad, I love him so much. I can't bear anything happening to him," Jungkook managed to say, his voice cracking as he hugged his dad tightly. Mr. Jeon embraced his son, rubbing his back soothingly, trying to calm him down.
Suddenly, they heard the sound of a door opening and they all looked up, rushing towards the doctor who emerged from Jimin's room.
"Doctor, how's my husband? Is he okay?" Jungkook asked urgently, his heart pounding with fear.
"Yeah, he's going to be just fine. And actually, there's some good news," the doctor said with a reassuring smile. They all looked at him, confused and hopeful.
"What good news?" Mrs. Jeon asked, her voice trembling slightly with anticipation.
"Well, Mr. Jimin is about one month pregnant," the doctor announced calmly. Shock washed over them, followed quickly by overwhelming joy. Their eyes widened in disbelief, and tears of happiness filled their eyes as they realized the blessing of this unexpected news.
Jungkook gently pushed open the door to Jimin's hospital room. He walked over to Jimin's bedside, sitting down in the chair next to him. Leaning in close, he looked at Jimin with overflowing love before softly kissing him on the forehead.
As Jimin slowly regained consciousness and began to open his eyes, Jungkook's face lit up with joy. Without hesitation, he pulled Jimin into a warm embrace, whispering affectionately in his ear, "Baby, thank you so much. Because of you, our lives are going to be so much brighter."
Confused, Jimin was taken aback by the tears in Jungkook's eyes. Instinctively, he returned the hug, concern evident in his voice as he asked, "Kookie, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Look, I'm fine, don't worry about me."
"Yeah, I know, baby. You're fine," Jungkook managed, his voice choked with emotion. "I just... I can't express how grateful I am for the incredible gift you've given me. I love you so much."
"Thank you so much for making me a father," Jungkook continued, gently holding both of Jimin's hands in his own.
"What? Wait, really? I'm pregnant?" Jimin gasped in shock at Jungkook's revelation.
"Yes, babe. We're going to be parents. You're pregnant," Jungkook confirmed, his eyes shining with happiness.
Overwhelmed with emotion, tears welled up in Jimin's eyes as he hugged Jungkook tightly, crying tears of excitement and joy.
"Thank you so much, Kookie. I love you so much," Jimin whispered earnestly.
"Congratulations, baby Jimin!" Mr. Jeon and Mrs. Jeon burst into the room, filled with excitement.
"Many congratulations to both of you! May your lives always be as happy as this moment," Mr. Jeon exclaimed warmly, his eyes brimming with pride.
Mrs. Jeon joined in, hugging both Jimin and Jungkook tightly. "Getting pregnant is like starting a new job. The baby in your tummy is your new boss, and your husband is your new secretary. Congratulations to both of you, my loves."
"Thank you, Mom and Dad," Jimin responded gratefully, feeling overwhelmed with love and happiness in that moment.
--------------------
Time had skipped ahead, and Jimin was now eight months pregnant. Each month, he faithfully visited the doctors for check-ups, relieved that his morning sickness had subsided. However, he had become noticeably more clingy to Jungkook, if that was even possible, and his hormones sometimes got the better of him. Work became increasingly challenging as his belly grew larger, making quick movements harder.
Jungkook doted on his chubby, pregnant husband, finding him even more adorable and beautiful in his own unique way. On their weekly rest day, they found themselves at home, lounging on the couch and watching cartoons. Jimin insisted on cartoons because he believed it would entertain their unborn child, and Jungkook never denied him anything, especially now that Jimin was carrying their precious creation.
They lay together on the sofa, Jungkook on his back with Jimin cuddled up, resting his head on Jungkook's chest.
"Kookie, can we go shopping at the mall?" Jimin asked softly, planting a kiss on Jungkook's clothed chest.
"But baby, what if something happens to you?" Jungkook replied, concern evident in his voice.
"Nothing will happen, Kookie, because you're always with me," Jimin reassured with a smile, kissing Jungkook's cheek lovingly.
"Yeah, but... I just worry," Jungkook sighed, stroking Jimin's hair gently.
"Kookie, trust me. I feel perfectly fine, and besides, I want to pick out some cute stuff for our little one," Jimin said playfully, poking Jungkook's nose.
"As you wish, my darling. We'll go in the evening," Jungkook acquiesced, leaning down to kiss Jimin's forehead tenderly.
Later, Jimin and Jungkook got ready for their outing. Jimin twirled in front of the mirror, wearing a comfortable yet stylish outfit.
"Kookie, how do I look?" Jimin asked, flashing his adorable smile.
"Baby, you're the most beautiful person I've ever seen in my life," Jungkook praised sincerely, his eyes filled with adoration.
They held hands as they locked up the house and made their way to the car. Sitting inside, they set off for the shopping mall, chatting happily about their future as parents and making plans for the nursery.
Unbeknownst to them, a black car was parked across the street from their house, unnoticed in their excitement.
----------------------
The man in the car retrieved his phone from his pocket with a sense of grim determination, fingers tracing the familiar digits before pressing call. The line connected, and he held the device close, his expression hardening as he spoke.
"They've left," his voice was low, carrying a weight of disappointment and resentment.
"Okay," came the response from the other end, a terse acknowledgment tinged with concern.
"Mr. Jeon Jungkook, you've torn my life apart," she continued bitterly, his gaze fixed on the screen with a chilling intensity. "Everything you've done, every choice you've made—it all ends now. You'll regret this."
As she uttered those words, a shadow fell across the room. The door swung open, and Rose froze in the doorway, her father's stern figure silhouetted against the light.
"What are you doing, Rose?" His voice was sharp, cutting through the charged atmosphere.
She flinched, caught off guard by his sudden presence. "N-nothing, Dad," she stammered, her eyes darting nervously from her father to the phone in the man's hand. "Just a friend called, asking me to go shopping. I'm... I'm going out."
With a hurried excuse, she hurried past her father, unable to shake the unease that gripped her. The man remained silent, his gaze lingering on the doorway long after she had disappeared from view.
In the quiet of the room, he clenched his jaw, a mixture of determination and regret etched on his face. The ominous threat he had delivered over the phone hung heavy in the air, leaving an unsettling tension in its wake.
