I woke up and I reached to the other side of the bed. I open my eyes when I didn't touch Faye. That's when I remember I slept here at my parent's house and Freen was in the other room. I stood up and saw that it's only 6 in the morning.
I checked my phone if Faye messaged me. she did. She said goodnight. Haha. Amazing. I didn't get enough sleep since I miss Faye. And knowing my body I won't be able to get back to sleep so I decided to just start my day.
I messaged her that I won't be going to the restaurant for the rest of the week and will be staying at my parent's house for the meantime since it's closer to the company. I charge my phone then went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for mom, dad and Freen.
After cooking I woke them up so we can eat. Freen on the other hand doesn't want to get up. So, I jumped in the bed just like what we do when the other doesn't want to wake up. I jumped and jumped till I lose my balance and I fell on top of her.
We both laugh and we started tickling each other when we suddenly heard a forced cough by the door. We look at the person at the door and we both got shock when we saw Faye standing there with unreadable look. I stood up and told Freen to get ready cos they'll both be late. Freen nodded and went to the bathroom.
I walked to Faye and kiss her on the cheeks then I asked her why she's here. Cos it's already half past six and the restaurant will open at 8am. She looks like she hasn't slept at all. And her clothes are the same as yesterday. But she just looks at me. Then I wave my hand in front of her face cos she looks like she's on dazed.
Hey, I am asking you what brought you here?
''I read your message. Are you mad at me or something?
I am not. I just need to do something at the company.
''You know I can take you to the company and pick you up after work, right?
I know but I don't want to take too much of your time so I decided that for the meantime I can stay here.
''That's okay with me. I want to be with you.
Just this week. You can go visit your family too.
''I know there's something wrong. I can feel it. Can we talk about it? I miss you. I haven't slept at all cos I kept thinking what I did.
Okay later. After my work in the office. I'll go home.
''I don't think I can work today. I am exhausted. I'll just wait for you at home. Freen can take over my work for the day.
Okay.
I look at her face intently and that's when I notice that her eyes are a little swollen. I can't take it anymore so I hugged her tightly and I led her to my room. So, she can rest. But she refuses to sleep here. She said she'll wait for me at home. Then she gave me a peck. Then walked out.
I quickly chased her and told her to wait I'll just tell mom and dad that I'll be going home with you. She nodded and sat on the living room. I went to my parent's room and I knocked and went inside. I bid my farewell and told them that I'm going home now.
They kissed me and told me to be careful. After that I went to the guest room to talk to Freen and I told her that Faye won't be working today and asked her if she can handle the restaurant alone. She said it's fine and we should talk now so we can fix it already.
We shouldn't take this long to avoid more conflicts. I agreed and asked her to tell the staffs that Faye and I won't be able to go to the restaurant today. She nodded and I kissed her cheeks goodbye.
I didn't change my clothes since I'll be going home and just went to the living and there, I saw Faye sleeping. I sat beside her and I look at her sleeping face. I miss this, I miss her. But I am a little hurt. Maybe Freen is right. We really need to talk this now. So, I gently caressed her face to wake her up and when she opens her eyes, she immediately hugs me and told me don't leave her. I was confused as to why did she say that. So, I told her I will never leave her and kiss her forehead. I pull her up so she can stand up. I asked for the key cos I know she's really sleepy.
While I'm driving. I can feel that she's looking at me. So, I parked on the side and I asked her why she's looking at me like that. She said she's sorry. I asked her for what? She shook her head and told me we can talk later when I got home from work. I nodded and drive us home.
When we reached our home, I looked at Faye and she's sleeping again. She must've been really exhausted. Cos, she doesn't like sleeping in car's cos it's uncomfortable. I went out and go to her side and woke her up and told her she can sleep in our room so she can rest properly. She nodded and I took her hand and I support her while we walk inside.
I lay her down on the bed and I took some wet towel so I can clean her up. After that I changed her clothes into something comfortable. Then I told her to sleep. She took my hand and pull me beside her. Then she asked me if I can wait for her to sleep before I go to work. My heart melted so I hugged her tightly and told her to sleep. Minutes later I hear her soft snores and I caressed her hair and closed my eyes.
I woke up when I felt like someone's playing with my hair. I open my eyes and smiled when I saw Faye. She kissed me and reciprocated. Gosh I miss this. I asked her what time is it. She shook her head and told me she doesn't know. I heard her stomach growling. I laugh and I told her we should get up so we can eat. She agreed and she carried me to the bathroom. Then we washed up and went to the kitchen.
I prepared us some brunch since its almost twelve o'clock. We ate in silent and I can't help but feel like Faye wants to start talking so I look at her and signal her to finish the food so we can talk properly. She nodded and continue eating.
After eating I took her hand and I lead her to the living room. I sat and tapped my side signaling her to sit beside me which she gladly did. Then I lean my head to her shoulder and told her to start talking.
''Why are you avoiding me?
Really? That's your first question? No ice breaker?
''Baby I'm serious. Tell me why are you avoiding me?
You ignored me last night when I said I was going out.
''You went out? When?
See? Last night you're too busy talking to someone and you didn't even notice that I went out to buy something.
''Why didn't you say that you're going out?
I did but I guess you didn't hear me cos you're talking to someone.
''Oh sorry baby. I was talking to Jane.
Yeah, I know. I kinda heard you say her name.
''I'm really sorry baby. It won't happen again.

The night when you two met. You're talking to her on the phone before we got home. When we got home, you're still talking to her and again the next morning. You ignored me. That's why I didn't go to the restaurant and also, I stayed at my parent's house.
''I'm sorry Baby. I didn't know.
Now you know. I want to asked. Who is she?
''She's my ex-girlfriend.
Ex-girlfriend? Why are you talking to your ex?
''We're talking about work. I'm sorry if you felt like I was ignoring you. She's planning on investing on the company and that's what we're talking.
Okay. I'm sorry.
''No, you don't need to apologize. Your feelings are valid and I should've told you about it. I am sorry baby. But I promise you. It's all about work.
I understand. Still, I am sorry. Freen is right. I should've talked to you about it instead of avoiding you.
''It's okay baby. At least we can learn from this. Instead of avoiding the subject let's talk about it so we can fix it as soon as possible.

''I want to ask you something.

''Did you and Freen sleep on the same bed last night?
No, I slept in my room and she slept on the guest room.
''Why are you two on the same bed earlier?
I was waking her up by jumping on the bed then I lost my balance. And fell that's when she tickles me as a revenge for jumping on the bed.
''Oh okay.
You're jealous again and I am sorry. I told you babe. Freen and I are only friends. We just talked and drink last night and she made me realize that I shouldn't avoid this kind of things and fix it ASAP.
''You guys' drink? You didn't tell me about it.
Chill babe. I'm sorry. We just drink a little. Just to calm me last night and open my problem with her.
''How little and what did you two drink?
One bottle of tequila.
''Little? One bottle is little? And it's tequila. My goodness Yoko.
Hehe. Don't worry. Freen and I have high alcohol tolerance.
''Still baby that's too much.
You haven't seen me drink babe. You'll be surprise when you see me drink. I can outdrink you as long as it's not beer 😊
''Hmmmm. I doubt that. We'll put that to a test soon. But promise me next time. Don't drink too much if something like this happens again.

I know her like the back of my hand. I can tell by the way she looks at Becca when they met. And I kinda saw them last time at the mall.

After talking Faye and I decided to just chill at home. We watched a movie and after that we went out and buy some groceries since we don't have some items. After we bought the things, we needed. We had our dinner also at the mall cos Faye told me I can rest from cooking for now. I kissed her because of that.
We went home since it's already 9pm and when we arrive home, we took a bath and decided to rest. I told her about my decision regarding the vacation. She asks me if that's really what I want. I told her yes. She asks if its because of what happened. I told her kinda but I want to focus on the restaurant first we can take a vacation soon. She agreed and gave me a kiss. We cuddled and went to sleep cos tomorrow we'll be working at the restaurant.
I cannot. My heart really aches
