"At last, here we are, broadcasting live from the coronation, where Prince Benjamin will be crowned king!" Snow White enthusiastically said. "I'm Snow White, bringing you up to the second coverage of who's fairest of them all."
Inside the Cathedral, soft classical music played while bustling guests mingled as they waited for the ceremony to start.
"Oh, Fairy Godmother is looking radiant! But what happened to Jane's hair?" Snow White commentated. "And there's Fairy Godmother's wand..." The TV broadcasted the headmistress taking the cloth off her magic wand.
"Oh! and here comes Ben now!"
Ben looked handsome as ever, hair styled to perfection, flashing a bright smile. He looked so good in his suit, showcasing his muscular physique.
His hand interlocked with his girlfriend, beside him as they both waved and smiled for the cheering crowd.
Ben looked at Ana, smiling. "Don't be nervous. All you have to do is be yourself, sitting there looking pretty for me."
"For you?" Ana giggled with a raised brow, despite her heavy heart.
Ben winked at her, smiling cheekily. "Of course, you're mine, remember?" He said, kissing the back of her hand. "And I'm yours... always." He promised in a soft voice.
The box on her lap never felt more heavier.
"Thank you." Ana smiled at him, thankful.
"Ana? Would you wear my ring?" He asked her, staring into her eyes.
"Uh- not right now... It would just fall off of me." She said, jokingly, ignoring her feelings for the prince. "I have something for you..." She said nervously, handing him the small box.
"Really? What is it?" Ben excitedly asked, opening the box to reveal a brownie.
"Oh, it's just for later, when you need some strength. Some carbs to keep going." She chuckled sadly, trying hard not to cry, not ready to end what they have.
As soon as he eats the brownie, he'll realise he didn't love her after all.
And she'll be left brokenhearted still loving him.
Ben smiled lovingly at her. "You're the best." He praised, taking out the treat. "But I can't wait-" He told her, taking a bite of the brownie.
Ana's eyes widened in horror. "Wait!" She exclaimed trying to stop him, but it was too late.
"This is really good!" He ate happily.
"Uh... do you-do you feel okay?" Ana stuttered, trying not to panic.
"You bet!" He nodded, taking another bite.
Ana swallowed the lump in her throat. "Do you still feel... something for me?" She asked him, dreading his answer.
"I don't know... let's take the anti love potion a few minutes to take effect." He said, casually.
Ana nodded in agreement, not comprehending what he said. "Yeah... wait, what?" She asked in shock. "You knew?"
Ben nodded. "That Mal spelled me? Yeah, I knew."
"I-I can explain-"
"Look, it's fine, Mal had a crush on me and I was with Audrey, you were the one I fell for instead." Ben explained.
"How long have you known?"
"Since our first date." His smile didn't falter. "Her spell washed away in the Enchanted Lake... when I looked into your eyes, I knew you had no clue about it."
Ana lips wobbled slightly. "So then what? You just faked it... all this time?" She asked, hurt.
Ben took his ring off his finger. "I haven't been faking anything, baby..." He said, staring into her eyes as he slipped his ring to her middle finger.
"Ben..." Ana breathed out, wanting to tell him about the plan, but Ben stopped her.
"Ana, I always felt drawn to you even before you guys came here. From all our talks in the library, to hanging out and going to dates, I realised I liked you even before that. As time goes on, I fell for you even harder." Ben confessed, staring at her with so much love. "I see the real you... believe me when I say, I love you."
Ana was speechless, frozen in his gaze, after a moment, instead she engulfed him in a hug, whispering the same words to him.
"I love you too, Ben."
In front of the Cathedral, the crowd awaited their soon to be king and his lady.
The trumpets played as the crowd cheered, a royal guard opened the door for them, Ben going out of the carriage first before helping Ana out, offering his hand.
She looked beautiful in her emerald green gown, her hair pinned from the side with some pearls and the ends were curled perfectly.
She looked like a princess and many thought so too, including those who watched the live broadcast from the Isle.
Snow White praised her looks and the design of her gorgeous gown, made by no other than Evie.
Ana smiled at the cheering people around them, as she held unto Ben's arm, climbing up the steps to the Cathedral, where the King and Queen stood.
Belle smiled brightly at her once they stood in front of them.
"Oh, Ana...you look beautiful, darling."
Adam smiled at her. "You look radiant." He complimented. "I'm sorry about the other day-"
Ana shook her head immediately, cutting him off. "Oh no, It's fine your Majesty. You don't have to apologise at all."
"I told Ben this wasn't going to be easy." The King sighed. "But I think you two are going to make it work."
Ben smiled at his father. "You taught me that a King has to believe in himself... even when it isn't easy."
"I did?" Adam looked at him confused, nudged by his wife in return. "Yes, I did. I'm proud of you, my son." He chuckled, smiling at him proudly.
Belle stepped forward, holding his son's hands. "Ben, we are very very proud of you." She told him with all her heart. "You are going to be a great King."
Ben gave her a smile in appreciation. "Thanks, Mom."
Belle turned to Ana with a smile. "Especially with Ana by your side." She said before she and her husband walked away, on their way to their places.
Ben looked at Ana with a nervous yet excited smile. "Wish me luck." He chuckled.
"Good luck, Cookie." She said before taking the hand of a royal guard, who was ready to escort her to her seat.
The choir sung a beautiful melody as she walked towards the front row where her mother sat, waiting for her.
The trumpets sounded, making all of them stand. A few seconds later, the great doors of the sacred building opened, revealing Ben.
As Ben passed, head held high, the guests bowed in respect to their crown prince.
Fairy Godmother stood from her seat, walking up to retrieve her wand. She hugged the Queen before she turned to bow to the King, then removing the crown from his head.
Afterwards, she stood in front of Ben before slowly placing the crown on his head.
Adam stepped forward, removing the glass case from the wand. His wife took the wand and handed it to the fairy.
Ana fiddled with her fingers nervously as she thought about what her and her friends were going to do.
Fairy Godmother held her wand in front of her with a bright smile.
"Do you solemnly swear to govern the people of Auradon, with justice and mercy as long as you shall reign?" She asked the prince.
"I do solemnly swear." Ben promised.
The headmistress smiled proudly, tapping the wand on his shoulders. "Then it is my honor and my joy to bless our new king-"
Everyone gasped when the wand was snatched away from her.
Jane stood with the wand in her hand, jerking as she struggled to control it.
"Child, what are you doing?!" Her mother exclaimed, horrified.
"If you won't make me beautiful, I'll do it myself!" She yelled before shrieking when the wand's magic went out of control.
Ana looked to her side to see Mal, she must've quickly went down from the balcony.
Ben quickly went to his girlfriend's side, standing in front of her in defense.
"Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!" Jane tried to spell, but failed as the wand did not cooperate.
"Take cover!"
People screamed in fright as sparks from the wand ignited, Mal used the distraction to snatch the wand away from the young fairy.
"Careful, Mal!" The queen said, worriedly.
When Mal finally got the wand, their three friends walked down from where they're standing to join them on the floor.
Ben stepped away from Ana and stood in front of his parents.
"Mal, give me the wand." He said, calmly.
Mal's lips trembled as she said. "Stand back."
The doors opened once again to see Evie, Jay and Carlos arriving at the scene.
Ben tried not to let his panic show, offering Mal a smile. "It's okay, Mal."
"I said, stand back!" She yelled, stressed. She then looked at the red head beside the prince. "Ana, come on." She said causing wide eyes turn to Ana in shock.
"I told you so!" Audrey exclaimed from her seat, but backed away with a gasp as soon as Mal pointed the wand at her.
"Let's go!" Jay urged them.
Carlos looking guilty, half-heartedly said. "Revenge time."
Ben looked at Ana, heart broken seeing the girl join her four friends.
"You really want to do this?" He asked, then looking at Ana, pleadingly. "Ana? You're apart of this?"
Ana looked at him, teary eyed. "We have no choice, Ben!" She cried. "Our parents-"
"Your parents made their choice. Now you make yours."
Ana stood frozen as she glanced around her, looking at Adam and Belle, at Fairy Godmother and lastly to her Mom, who looked like she was crying.
"I want to be good, I want to be with you at your side." She admitted, few tears slipping from her blue eyes.
"You are, I know you are." Ben encouraged her, stepping closer. "I know that because I'm listening to my heart."
Mal looked down, slowly lowering the wand. "I want to listen to my heart too." She quietly said before facing her friends. "And my heart is telling me that we are not our parents." She smiled.
Evie, Jay and Carlos looked at her wide eyed, shocked at her actions.
"I mean, stealing things doesn't make you happy, Jay." Mal sadly told him. "Tourney and victory pizza with the team does." She chuckled before looking at Carlos. "And you, scratching Dude's belly makes you happy." The people around them laughed at that.
Mal turned to a crying Evie with a smile. "Evie... You don't have to play dumb to get a guy, you are so smart." Evie released a laugh, hearing her words.
Finally, Mal turned to Ana. "And Ana, I've known you for a long time, but I never seen you this happy. Ben makes you happy, making new friends makes you happy..." Ana teared up as she continued to talk. "Being with your mom makes you happy." Ana nodded, feeling Ben touch her waist in comfort.
Mal chuckled sadly. "And I don't want to take over the world with evil. It doesn't make me happy. I want to go to school, make new friends. And be with all of you. Being with all of you makes me so happy." She admittedly cried. "I choose to be good, you guys."
Ana smiled proudly at her, pulling her into a hug. The others joined in, happy they're not continuing their plan.
"So, just to be clear, we don't have to be worried about how really mad are parents are going to be?" Carlos asked. "Because they are going to be really really mad." He laughed, excited.
"Your parents aren't going to reach you here."
As soon as Ben said that, a sudden banging echoed and a puff of green smoke appeared. When it disappered, Maleficent stood in front of them.
"I'm back!" Maleficent laughed, people screamed in fear and panicked at the sight of her.
"Go away, mother." Mal told her mother.
Maleficent laughed as if it was funny. "Wand me, chop chop!" She commanded, expecting her daughter to give it to her, but Mal tossed it to Fairy Godmother instead.
"Bibbidi-bobbidi-"
"Boo..." Maleficent smirked as she casted a spell on everyone, causing them to freeze except the VKs who looked at her in panic.
"Psych." She cackled evilly, walking up to the former king grabbing his glasses before returning them crooked.
The evil fairy walked up the step of stairs standing beside Fairy Godmother, snatching the wand. "Someone needs to pluck their nose hairs." She poked the wand in the headmistress' nose.
"Where shall we begin?" She asked, smirking. "Why don't we start by getting rid of this?"
Ana gasped as she felt the ring Ben gave her fly away from her finger and landed on the wand.
Maleficent gasped. "Perfect fit!" She excitedly, cackled.
Ana looked down at her finger, sadly, missing the ring.
"Falling in love is weak..." Maleficent said, making Ben's crown crooked. "And ridiculous." She said, bitterly. "It's not what you want, Ana. Try to be like Mal, she-"
"Mom, have you ever once asked me what I want?" Mal asked, interrupting her mother. "I'm not you-"
"Oh, obviously." Maleficent deadpanned. "I've had years and years and years and... years of practice being evil. You'll get there." She insisted.
Mal shook her head, disobediently. "No, I will not! And I really wish that you had never gotten there yourself." She sobbed.
Ana nodded, agreeing with her. "And you're wrong." She said confidently. "Love is not weak or ridiculous...it's actually really amazing."
The evil fairy looked at them with anger. "I know one thing young ladies, you have no room for love in your lives!"
"I now command, wand to my hand." Mal chanted quickly and gasped when the wand flew to her. "Ha! It worked!"
"Give me the wand! Give me the wand!" Maleficent screamed, furiously.
Carlos tried to tell Mal about good being more powerful than evil, Maleficent laughed and barked at him, trying to scare him, but instead, Dude attacked her.
While she was distracted, Jay tried to snatch her scepter away from her but failed.
Having had enough, Maleficent looked at them with malice. "You all will regret this!" She said finally before disappearing in a green puff of smoke, a huge dragon in her place.
The VKs gasped trying to dodge the fire shot their way, fearing for Jay's life, they yelled for him to run and hurry.
Evie used her magic mirror to distract the dragon, shining a white blinding light towards it.
"E!" Ana gasped, pulling Evie behind as Mal stood in front of them.
"Leave my friends alone!" She yelled at her mother, who roared in response. "This is between you and me, mother." She said before stating to chant.
"The strength of evil is good as none, when stands before five hearts as one."
Her eyes turned green as she continued to chant, not breaking eye contact with her mother whose eyes were green as well.
Suddenly, the dragon blinked and shrieked, disappearing in a cloud of smoke.
The VKs ran towards the center, confused as Fairy Godmother gasped, breaking free from the spell, she quickly ran towards the teens.
"No, no, no, your mother did." She told Mal. "She shrank to the size of the love in her heart...that's why it's so...itty-bitty." She sadly said.
Mal crouched down, staring at her mom who was now a lizard.
"Is she gonna be like that forever?" Ana asked, concerned.
"Well, forever is a long time." Fairy Godmother shrugged. "You all learned to love, so can she." She looked at Mal with a smile, trying to reassure her.
Mal chuckled, wiping her tears. "I think this belongs to you..." She smiled, handing the fairy her wand.
Fairy Godmother smiled at her in thanks, before leaning down to pick up a ring. "And I believe this... belongs to you." She handed it to Ana, smiling.
Ana chuckled, slipping it back to her finger. "Thank you."
Fairy Godmother looked at them with a huge smile. "You all earned yourselves an 'A' in goodness class." She told them proudly before casting a spell to unfreeze everyone.
Ben suddenly tried to charge at them, Ana quickly stopped him. "Ben! It's okay, it's okay!"
Mal laughed at the sight of Ben looking around confused. "We kinda got this all wrapped up here."
Ben nodded at her and gave Ana a look before he carried her, twirling her around as the girl shrieked in surprise.
"Next time, I rescue you, okay?"
Ana laughed, shaking her head. "You can dream." She teased, giving him a soft look. "But let there not be a next time, okay?" She chuckled, hugging him.
When she pulled away, she tilted his crown dorkily causing both of them to laugh.
While they celebrated, Mal slipped away from the group, walking towards Fairy Godmother and Jane, jumping to Jane's defense.
When she glanced back at her friends, she immediately walked back with a yell.
"Careful!" She warned the guard. "That's my mom!" She said seriously before joining the group.
"Well, let's get this party started!" Jay yelled excitedly, the others laughing with him.
And party they did, fireworks displayed above them as the kingdom celebrated.
Ben was being carried around by the boys as Evie, Mal and Ana danced together.
The people gathered around as Ben joined Ana on the dancefloor, breaking into a song.
Ana giggled as she sang with him, twirling around, dress now short and easy to move around with.
Slowly, the others joined in the song and the teens danced their night away to a different version of a ballroom dance.
Ana and Ben stood on the balcony, overlooking the dancing crowd. They danced close together with Ana's arms wrapped around his neck while his hands were holding her waist.
When the song ended, everyone turned to look at them and bowed in respect to their new king.
The two stared at each other with so much love, nose touching.
"I love you, Ben." Ana whispered, lovingly.
Ben gave her a bright grin. "And I love you..." He tilted his head, pressing their lips against each other.
I was having the time of my life, wrapped in the arms of my very hot boyfriend that I almost forgot.
You didn't think this was the end of the story, did you?
