Annabeth chuckled as she scrolled through tik tok. She had the bedroom all to herself since either her or Robby still hadn't apologized to each other. Her brother then, without arguing, slept on the couch and let the room for his sister.
Suddenly, she heard the loud noise of pans against each other. She furrowed her eyebrows and parted her lips slightly while staring at the door. The girl swallowed her pride for a moment and called her brother to know if it was him who made the noise.
"Robby?" She shouted from the bedroom. Hearing no response, just a bunch of mixed voices, she walked out of the door, only to find her mother. She hadn't seen her in days. But, this time, she brought someone with her. "What the fuck is happening here?" She complained.
Shannon Keene looked at her with an annoyed face.
"Not now, Annabeth." She mumbled and turned to the man. "What's wrong with you two?" She motioned her hands in confusion.
Only now Annabeth realized that the men held his face in pain and looked at Robby with a surprised explanation. She giggled with the thought of him punching the guy.
"What's wrong with me?" Robby scoffed. "You haven't been here in days. I thought someone broke in." He explained himself, glancing between his mum, sister, and the random guy.
"OK. OK, I'm sorry. I just came to grab a few things. Um, cause, uh, Rick is flying me to Cabo." The woman explained herself.
"Cabo-adjacent." The man said.
"What?" Annabeth sneered, but Shannon scolded her. "Wait, is that actually it?" She asked with an unfazed expression. "Well, of course it is." The girl shook her head and chuckled.
"So you're going to Mexico, with this guy? For how long?" Robby blurted with a bunch of questions. "I mean, we have rent to pay, and I don't have–" He continued, pointing at his sister and him.
"Don't worry about that, cause, Rick, you're paying this month, right?" The woman grinned.
"I got you, pal." He chuckled.
"Whatever, you didn't even make enough money to pay everything, anyway." Annabeth scoffed.
"Annabeth Keene. You don't have the right to talk back with your mother. Go to your room." Shannon scoffed, out of patience.
"No, stay." Robby mumbled, surprising everyone in the room. Annie stepped forward and leaned into the wall, waiting for what Robby was going to say.
"When are you coming back?" Robby asked his mum.
"A few days." Shannon smiled. "Um, week and a half, tops." The man agreed. "So, you have the whole place to yourselves. Don't party too hard." She poked Robby jokingly. "I'll call you tomorrow, OK, sweetie?" She placed a kiss on Robby's forehead and stepped closer to Annabeth.
The girl stared at her, cold eyes. However, the woman still held her face in her hands and placed a kiss on her blonde hair.
"Behave." She said and patted her daughter's shoulder. "I love you two." She said as they got to the door.
"Hey, if you hurt her, next time you won't get up." Robby threatened Rick.
As the new couple closed the door, the two teens stared at it.
"So, what now?" Robby mumbled while looking down. Annabeth sighed.
"I don't know, uhm," She scoffed. "Maybe ask your friend, LaRusso." She smiled and went back to her bedroom's door. "I'm going out." She said, coming back with her bag.

"What do you think? Shithead one and Shithead two?" Hawk asked with a hand on his chin.
"Nah, more creative." Annabeth mumbled while playing with her gi's sleeve.
"I was thinking more Mary-Kate and Asshat." Aisha suggested, making Annie laugh and lightly punch her arm, agreeing.
"Well, I'm Chris–" The boy started but was quickly interrupted by Haw.
"Did I say you could speak?" He blurted.
"Guys, they're just messing with you." Miguel walked up to them with a grin. "Besides, everyone knows your names are Assface and Douchbag." He joked.
The door's ring made Keene quickly look at the entrance. She stared down at the man who had just come in.
"We don't accept adults." She stated from afar, crossing her arms.
"I'm aware, child." The man spoke. He had almost grey blonde hair and held a tough expression on his face. Annabeth scoffed at the term and furrowed her brows.
"Who's that?" Hawk asked them.
"I don't know." Annabeth mumbled, still staring him down.
The male approached Miguel with slow but certain steps.
"Uh, can I help you, sir?" Diaz asked him.
"No. But maybe I can help you." The man said with a smug face. Keene gazed at the interaction and chuckled, making the man look at her while serious..
"Hey." Johnnh Lawrence spoke, entering the room. Th old man walked to Johnny and stood by him, while the two of them whispered to each other.

"This is Mr.Kreese." Johnny spoke at the front of the mat. Keene stood back a few feet away from him, eyeing each one of the students. "He's just an observer. Pretend like he's not even here." He stated. The man looked at Lawrence with a straight face but didn't complain about anything.
"Mr. Diaz, warm them up." Johnny added. Annabeth was barely paying attention to it. She was too busy staring at Kreese, who ince in a while stared back at her.
"Fighting positions." Miguel shouted. "Front kick, uh." As everyone made the move, Annie stepped back of the mat. "Forward strike. Uh." Miguel said. "Side dab. Yuh." As everyone but Keene did the silly move, Annabeth stood back and grinned quietly.
"What the hell was that?" Johnny roared.
"We were just messing around." Diaz said quietly. "We have 11 and a half months until the next All Valley."
"Yeah, besides. We already know how to kick ass." Hawk smirked, and the students chuckled.
"Oh, yeah, really, huh? So you know everything. There's nothing left to learn, huh?" Sensei scoffed but was distracted by Aisha's giggle. "What's so funny, Ms. Robinson?" He asked her.
"I'm sorry, Sensei. You just wouldn't understand." The girl said, still with a small smile on her face.
"Try me." Everyone looked at them curious.
"It's a snake-do." She concluded and held back a chuckle.
"What's a snake-do?" Sensei furrowed his eyebrows. As he asked, the closer students imited a snake while signaling one.
Kreese, from the side of the room, rolled his eyes impatiently.
"Quiet!" Johnny shouted loud, making everyone freeze and stand straight. "5 am tomorrow morning." He stated. Hawk and Aisha shared looks, eager and scared for what was about to come. "Class dismissed." He said as he walked out, Kreese practically following him, only stopping by Annabeth and sharing a look.
"You are?" The man asked. Annabeth looked at him. She had a straight posture and studied his face quietly.
"Annabeth Keene, sir." She answered.
"Very well, then, Ms. Keene." He took a moment to acknowledge the name and then spoke. "Congratulations. From our short meeting, I can tell you have the potential to be a Cobra." He replied and stared at her.
The corner of the girls mouth turned into a proud smirk as she nodded her head at the man, bowing him methodically, and then leaving.
John Kreese waited for her to leave and stared at her with curious eyes. It felt familiar talking to her, and he wanted to find out why.
