RINI POV
"im sorry." i heard a gentle voice whisper in my ear. my eyes has been covered and my back is leaning on his torso. its taika. his voice, his scent and the rapid beating of his heart echoed behind me. im being tranced by the lull of his voice and the wind that passes through us. its as if im melting in his arms. it feels like im floating and hes my anchor. what is this feeling? its so alien to me, its starting to scare me.
the gentle vibration of his voice made me frozen. the sincere apology he sent to my ear rattles my heart. i turned around and saw his face under his hood. hes bowing down on my tiny frame. all i could see is his red face and tears that failed to fall from his eyes.
"its okay." i said whispering, caressing his face. i dont know where my courage come from but at that moment it seems like the right thing to do. i flinched a bit as he leaned on my hand. his slightly scruffy face tickled the soft surface of my hand.
"still im sorry. the way..." he burried his face on my neck making me jump and continued on. "the way i talk to you, the way i handled you, im sorry." i can feel his breath on my neck. it sent goddamn good shivers from that spot down to my tail bone.
"mnm..." i uttered in limbo. i dont know whats happening to me. its just that i felt good basking in his scent.
not for long, i fell limp into his own body. taika caught me in his arms. i know that he's moving but i dont care where. wherever is okay with him, that what i felt.
"where's your place?" he asked while i felt like im floating.
"mnnn." i cant form out words. i just settled on an upward point on my finger and its as if he understood, he entered my building.
"floor?"
i put up 4 fingers.
"room?"
i put up 1 finger.
"passcode?"
"7..." i whispered. "2,5.....1"
i dont remember anything after. all i felt was my body hitting the bed i am familiar with. moments after i felt my head being propped up on something hard and soft at the same time and someones caressing my head.
i dont know how long i was out of it but when i opened my eyes, im all alone.

TAIKA POV
my bloods surging to every veins in my body the moment i felt the distance between me and my mate. as i turned around, i saw him with his head low and walking forward on to the employees entrance at the alley. i ran at the top of my lungs just to reach him by hairs breadth. he was about to touch the knob opening the door.
not wanting to startle the bunny, i covered his eyes but what happens next was out of my control. i didnt meant him to drop. i know hes an omega but to drop that instantly due to my scent without even recognizing me as his mate, without the trust that should be established first, is quite surprising.
"im sorry." i uttered near his ear. this is all i could reach bowing down with him looking ahead of me. im catching my breath due to that small sprint and the exhilaration from the distance that i had with him.
"its okay." he turned around me and caressed my messy face. i had shaved my face, lets put that out there, but its late now in the afternoon. the hairs got to grow if the hairs meant to grow. i saw him flinch from that. i chuckled a bit but cut short when i saw his dainty little face. the face that i had grown accustomed to see everyday. the face that had already etched into my heart and into my being. his very existence to me is my whole world.

i had imprinted on him.
my kind only has one partner in our lifetime. unlike the wolves that could have a second chance mate, us tigers got only one mate for the rest of our lives. if that partner never comes. its okay. if that partner ever comes, much, much better. but when that partner dies or even just left and broke the bond, i dont think thats possible though but well never know, us tigers will go on a rampage. many of us just have to ask some higher being to just kill us. mercy killing, as you call it. once i heard of a wolf asking for it when his human mate died but he was never permitted. luckily, he found his true mate and the bond was real at that point and the request was never uttered again. i think theyre living happily somewhere with their pups.
im just hoping this imprinting can make me tame around him, otherwise, heavens only knows what im capable of.
"still im sorry. the way..." i burried my face on his neck making him jump. "the way i talk to you, the way i handled you, im sorry." i said as sincerely as possible.
thats when he became limp in my arms. he dropped. this is a risking thing for omegas. they shouldnt drop like this around people they dont trust. this will make themselves vulnerable at all aspects of their being. maybe my presence is too much on him. my scent or even my voice affects him. does this mean he already trusts me? well, trust me enough to drop like this?
i need to keep him away from people right now. his presence on his job is out of the question. he needs... i need to hide him.
i picked him up and made his arms encircle my shoulder with his head on the other side. he scooted over ever more closer on my neck and hummed.
his apartments a lot closer here, so there will he be. i know where it is but i bet itll be weird if i wont ask him for it.
"where's your place?" i asked all the while moving to his building.
"mnnn." he pointed at the building we are going in at.
"floor?"
he put up 4 finger.
"room?"
he put up 1 finger. i know up to this part.

as soon as i heard the confirmation beep, i pushed the heavy door open. this place doesnt sell their units to common or regular people. mostly upper class omegas come to this kind of apartments due to high security and confidentiality. that is what i know from coming and going on this area.
seeing how a college student maintains his room this spic and span makes my own place look so crowded and messy. as i look up, hes got a loft for his bedroom. i hope i could balance well and not make us topple over the staircase.
slowly and swiftly like the tiger that i am, i made it to his bed. hes been in and out of consciousness while in my arms but now all i could hear from him is his light huff of breath the moment he hit the bed.
i sat beside him and slowly shift his hair away from his face. hes so beautiful.
