A New Beginning

Luca’s POV

Luca sat on the edge of the bed, still feeling lightheaded, still trying to process everything. His hand rested on his stomach instinctively, as if that could somehow make this all feel more real.

A baby.

His baby.

Damien’s baby.

His heart squeezed.

He wasn’t ready. But… was anyone ever really ready for something like this?

The door burst open.

“LUCA!”

Before he could react, Ava tackled him onto the bed, nearly knocking the air out of him.

“You’re pregnant! Oh my God! Do you know what this means?!”

Luca groaned. “That I might suffocate if you don’t get off me?”

Ava smacked his arm, bouncing excitedly. “You’re having a baby, Luca , my sibling ! A tiny little thing with Papa’s terrifying face!”

Luca covered his own face, groaning. “Oh God.”

Ava gasped. “Oh my God, what if it gets his glare? You know, the one where he looks like he’s plotting murder?”

Luca choked on a laugh. “I’m praying it gets my genes or looks like you . I don’t need another Damien Volkov walking around terrorizing people.”

Ava dramatically flopped onto the bed beside him. “Okay, but picture a tiny little version of you, following you around, holding your hand, calling you ‘mama’ in the softest voice ever.”

Luca’s heart skipped.

His breath caught in his throat, and suddenly, the fear wasn’t as sharp.

A life that belonged to him.

To them.

Something warm bloomed in his chest.

Damien’s presence behind him was sudden, his arms wrapping around Luca’s waist from behind, his chin resting on his shoulder.

“You’re picturing it, aren’t you?” His voice was smug.

Luca scowled, trying to shake off the warmth in his chest. “Shut up.”

Damien nuzzled against his neck, completely ignoring Ava. “You like it.”

Luca’s face burned. He tried to push Damien away, but the man was a damn brick wall. “I never said that.”

Ava giggled. “You totally love it.”

Luca groaned. “You two are the worst.”

Damien smirked against his skin. “And you’re stuck with us.”

Luca sighed dramatically. But as Damien’s arms tightened around him, as Ava kept rambling excitedly, as the warmth in his chest didn’t fade—

Maybe he didn’t mind being stuck with them after all. But a Baby that early & unexpected?

*
Damien’s POV

The room was dimly lit, the only sound the soft breathing of the two people Damien treasured the most.

Luca lay curled up against him, his face pressed to Damien’s chest, his body warm and small in his arms. Ava was sprawled on Luca’s other side, already lost in dreams, one arm draped lazily over Luca.

It was peaceful.

Too peaceful for a man like Damien Volkov.

But he couldn’t bring himself to ruin it.

Luca stirred, murmuring something against his chest. Damien hummed, rubbing slow circles over his back.

“I want to go see Valarie in the morning.” Luca’s voice was groggy, soft.

Damien arched a brow. “You just found out you're pregnant, and the first thing you think about is your sister?”

Luca gave a tired glare. “She’s my sister, Damien. I have to tell her.”

Damien sighed, brushing his lips against Luca’s forehead. “Fine. But you’re not leaving my sight. I'm going with you too.”

Luca snorted. “As if you ever let me.”

Damien smirked. That was true.

Luca yawned and burrowed deeper into him, his breathing evening out again as sleep dragged him under.

Damien stayed awake.

His dark eyes roamed over the two of them—Luca curled up against his chest, Ava curled up beside them—and a strange feeling stirred in his chest.

Possessiveness.

But it wasn’t the violent kind.

It was deeper, more primal.

Luca was his. His to love, to protect, to keep.

And soon, their child would be his, too.

His little family.

A vision flickered in his mind—Luca, sitting in the garden, soft sunlight in his hair, a toddler in his lap. Their child, with Luca’s delicate features and his own sharp eyes.

Another child ran through the grass, laughing, before Damien caught them, lifting them up effortlessly, their squeals of joy echoing in the air. Ava playing with her little siblings.

A life where Luca smiled every day. Where he wasn’t afraid anymore. Where Damien had everything—a wife, a home, children that bore his blood, his name With Luca.

Something dark and hungry coiled in his chest.

He would make it happen.

Nothing—no one—would take this from him.

His thoughts drifted, twisting into something filthier.

Luca, round with his child, helpless beneath him, moaning his name, begging for more—

Damien exhaled sharply.

His hold on Luca tightened, his fingers pressing possessively into his waist.

Soon.

He closed his eyes, a smirk curving his lips.

Luca had no idea just how deep Damien’s obsession ran.

**
Luca’s POV

The sun had barely risen when they set off, but Ava was already buzzing with energy.

Luca sat in the passenger seat while Damien drove, his one hand firmly gripping Luca’s thigh like he expected him to vanish. Ava, on the other hand, sat in the backseat, bouncing with excitement.

“Oh my God, Luca, we have so much to do!” she gushed, leaning forward between the seats. “Do you think it’s a boy or a girl? What do you want? No—wait! What do I want? I mean, I’d love a baby brother, but a little sister would be cute too! Imagine dressing her up—”

Luca blinked, overwhelmed. “Ava—”

“Do you think they’ll have your eyes? Oh! What about papa's hair? That’d be adorable! But also, a little Luca-looking baby would be so precious—”

Luca groaned, covering his face. “Ava, it’s barely morning, and you’re already planning their entire life.”

Ava ignored him, grinning. “We need to set up a nursery! I’ll help! And, and—oh my God,! We’ll go shopping for clothes, toys, everything! Maybe even a little crib for my room, in case they wanna sleep over with their cool sister.”

Damien snorted. “The baby is sleeping in our room, princess.”

Ava pouted dramatically. “So unfair.”

Luca sighed, but a small smile tugged at his lips. Ava’s excitement was contagious.

He never thought he’d be in this position. Pregnant. With Damien’s child. With a future.

It was terrifying.

But listening to Ava plan their baby’s entire life in the span of fifteen minutes made it feel… real.

Made it feel good.

Damien’s fingers squeezed his thigh, grounding him.

Luca looked at him, and for a moment, their eyes met. Damien didn’t say anything, but there was something soft, almost reverent in his gaze.

Luca exhaled.

Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad.

A Surprise Visit Gone Wrong

Luca’s POV

The plan was simple: surprise Sebastian and Valarie with the pregnancy news.

Ava had been bouncing in her seat the entire way, practically vibrating with excitement at the thought of seeing Valarie’s reaction. Luca, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck.

Valarie was his older sister—protective, sharp-tongued, and always suspicious of Damien. And Sebastian? The man was unhinged.

He spent the whole ride mentally preparing for whatever chaos would unfold.

What he hadn’t prepared for was this.

The second Damien pushed open the estate doors, they were met with strange sounds echoing down the grand hallway. Thuds. A low growl. A teasing laugh.

Luca paused. “Is that—”

Ava, oblivious, skipped ahead. “Aunt Valarie! Uncle Sebastian! Guess what—”

She turned the corner.

And immediately screamed.

“WHY ARE YOU ON TOP OF HIM?!”

Luca’s stomach dropped.

He and Damien rushed forward—only to freeze at the sight before them.

Sebastian was pinned to the couch, his arms stretched above his head, tied together with his own silk tie. His shirt was open, exposing his toned chest, and his usually cold, composed expression? Completely ruined by a look of pure frustration.

Valarie sat on his lap, smirking down at him.

Fully clothed.

Thank God.

But the position… the way Sebastian’s jaw clenched as she teasingly ran a nail down his throat… the annoyed, helpless look in his gray eyes… it was all too suggestive.

Ava gasped dramatically. “Aunt Valarie, did you tie up Uncle Sebastian?!”

Sebastian growled. “This is—”

“You caught us,” Valarie cut in smoothly, completely unfazed. She rested her chin on her palm, elbow propped on Sebastian’s chest. “I was interrogating him.”

Luca choked.

Damien chuckled darkly.

Sebastian glared daggers at Valarie. “Untie me.”

She grinned. “Say please.”

Luca slapped a hand over his eyes. “We should have knocked.”

Ava, meanwhile, looked way too fascinated. “Interrogating?” She turned to Damien. “What does that mean?”

Damien smirked, ruffling her hair. “It means your Uncle Sebastian is losing.”

Sebastian snapped his restraints with one hard pull.

Valarie yelped as he flipped her over, pinning her down instead.

Sebastian smirked down at her. “Not anymore.”

Luca cleared his throat aggressively. “Okay, STOP. This is not something I ever needed to witness.”

Valarie, still under Sebastian, looked up at him with a slow, mischievous smile. “Problem, little brother?”

Luca glared. “Yes. A huge one.”

Valarie smirked. “Then tell me what you’re doing here.”

Damien placed a possessive hand on Luca’s lower back, grinning as he said, “Luca’s pregnant.”

The room went dead silent.

Valarie and Sebastian both froze.

Ava yells . “I’M GONNA BE A BIG SISTER , Aunt Val ...

And just like that, chaos erupted.

**

The room exploded in chaos.

Valarie snapped out of her shock, turning to Luca with wide, delighted eyes. “Wait. You’re serious?!”

Luca, already red-faced, huffed. “Do I look like I’d joke about something like this?”

Valarie squealed. Actually squealed.

She lunged at Luca, tackling him into a suffocating hug. “OH MY GOD, MY BABY BROTHER IS HAVING A BABY!”

Damien, standing beside them, smirked proudly. “He sure is.”

Sebastian, still sprawled on the couch, scoffed. “And you expect me to believe you managed to knock someone up?” He glanced at Luca. “Are you sure it’s his?”

Damien growled, eyes darkening.

Luca flushed. “What the hell, Sebastian?!”

Valarie cackled, pulling away from Luca just to dramatically pat his stomach. “Yep. Definitely pregnant. I can already see the baby bump.”

Luca smacked her hand away. “That’s just my stomach, you idiot!”

Sebastian chuckled darkly, clearly enjoying Damien’s frustration. “I have to admit, Damien. I never thought you had it in you.”

Damien gritted his teeth. “Shut up, Vasillev.”

Sebastian smirked. “You’re not exactly known for treating your possessions with care—”

Damien lunged.

Luca grabbed his arm. “Damien! Not in front of Ava!”

Ava, oblivious, was already tugging on Valarie’s sleeve. “Aunt Valarie, I wanna help with the nursery! We need stuffed animals! And books! And—”

Valarie grinned. “Don’t worry, munchkin, we’re gonna spoil this kid rotten.”

Luca groaned. “You guys are already planning its entire life.”

Sebastian gave him an evil grin. “You better hope it doesn’t inherit your height luca.”

Luca scowled. “SCREW YOU, SEBASTIAN.”

Damien, furious with Sebastian but still pleased with the pregnancy, simply pulled Luca into his arms, whispering in his ear, “Ignore them. We’re having a baby. That’s all that matters.”

And just like that, despite all the chaos, teasing, and bickering, Luca felt it—

They were happy.

**

Sebastian’s POV

Sebastian leaned back in his chair, watching the chaos unfold in amusement.

Valarie was fussing over Luca. Ava was planning an entire future for the baby. Damien was trying (and failing) to look patient while Luca whined.

It was the perfect moment for trouble.

Damien turned to him, smirking. “So, Vasillev—” His voice was too smug. “Why exactly were you tied down when we walked in?”

Sebastian’s smirk faltered.

Valarie, who had been gushing over Luca, suddenly perked up.

Luca snorted.

Ava blinked. “Like… a hostage?”

Sebastian shot Damien a dark glare. “Shut up, Volkov.”

Damien grinned like a devil. “Oh no, I think I need to hear this.”

Sebastian’s jaw clenched. He knew that look—Damien was going to drag this out just to piss him off.

Damien stretched lazily. “So, what was it, Vasillev? Did our dear Valarie finally put you in your place?” His mocking smirk widened. “Tied you up like a good little captive?”

Luca choked. “OH MY GOD.”

Sebastian sighed. “It was a game , we play.”

Valarie grinned. “A game I won.”

Sebastian shot her a look, but she only winked at him.

Damien chuckled darkly. “That doesn’t answer my question. How did you, the oh-so-powerful Sebastian Vasillev, end up completely restrained?”

Sebastian leaned back, expression unreadable. “She cheated.”

Valarie laughed. “Says the man who thought he could outsmart me.”

Damien’s smirk grew. “And what exactly happened after, Vasillev?” He crossed his arms, voice mocking. “Did you beg?”

Sebastian gritted his teeth.

Luca was losing it. “Oh, this is amazing.”

Ava looked confused. “Wait, why would Uncle Sebastian beg?”

Sebastian rubbed his temples. “Enough.”

Damien, completely enjoying himself, shrugged. “Hey, no shame. Some men like being—”

Valarie cut him off. “If I recall correctly, Volkov, you once spent an entire night begging Luca to forgive you after kidnapping him.”

Luca froze. “HEY!”

Damien’s smirk dropped.

Sebastian’s lips curled. “In fact, wasn’t there something about you sleeping on the floor like a kicked dog—”

Damien growled.

Luca turned red. “We don’t talk about that.”

Ava blinked. “Wait, when was this?”

Sebastian grinned. “Oh, it was quite a sight.”

Valarie cackled. “Looks like both of you are whipped.”

Sebastian shot her a look. “Don’t think I forgot about you tying me up.”

Valarie smirked. “Don’t think I forgot about you liking it.”

Sebastian's jaw twitched.

Damien laughed. “Oh, this is fantastic.”

Luca shook his head. “I swear, our lives are insane.”

Sebastian sighed, glaring at Damien. “You enjoy this too much.”

Damien grinned. “Oh, absolutely.”

And just like that, the war of teasing continued.
