"What are you doing here? How did you even find me?" the woman asked her friend while holding a glass of wine
"Dude! Are you serious? This place is the only place you go if you're upset or something bad happened" The tall woman in a leather jacket said and sat down
Fey sighed in defeat and closed her puffy eyes and leaned on the sofa.
"The only thing I remember before you disappear, we were having fun and then you just left. What happened dude?" Lux asked her seriously
Fey couldn't answer, she can't make herself to talk. She feels like there's a thorn inside her throat that it's preventing her from speaking. She just shakes her head and pour her glass
"You can't just act like this. If you want her, you should do something. Just like you always do before, you're an expert when it comes to a woman" Lux said that made her friend to look at her
"This one is different. She, is different. She's not like any other girls I've met." Fey said and a tear fell out of her eye
"Then, what's the problem? What's holding you back?"
"She's younger than me and I'm older than her. Her future is as bright as her smile while mine is already dead and gone" Fey replied with bitterness
"What the fuck are you saying Fey? You have your own company and you're not dead! You're fine, you just can't see it" Lux wanted to punch her friend for being too dramatic
"Her life is just starting. She has a huge family, a handsome boy waiting for her to finally graduate and date her formally. While me? I'm just an old woman, with a crappy personality and a boring life. And I've met her other sister Lyn the other day. She said, she doesn't want her sister to date someone who doesn't know what love means, a person who doesn't take relationship seriously, and especially a person like me. So, what can I do? Should I force her to live with me while her whole family disagree?" Fey said and chugged the whole bottle of wine
Lux did not say anything because fey was right. She's not deserving. Fey is not deserving.
"So what's your plan?" lux asked her
"I don't know dude. All I know is, I have to stop now. It's better this way even though it'll hurt me so bad" Fey said and grab her keys and put on her jacket and left the place
