It's been two days since my special delivery. I'm sitting here again, debating on if I should call Dominic. I didn't want to call too soon, that just screams desperate. At the same time, I didn't want to wait too long to call. He was so kind when he helped me home, I don't want him to think I didn't appreciate his help. I mean he did carry my drunk ass home, the least I could do is let him take me to dinner. I'm always consumed with school, maybe it is time to do something for myself. Dominic was easy to talk to, and not to mention, extremely easy on the eyes. Honestly, what do I have to lose?
Dominic picked up on the second ring.
"Hello, this is Dominic"
"Hi Dominic, it's Hannah"
The tone of his voice softened immediately.
"Hannah! I was starting to think that you wouldn't call. Did you like the roses?"
"They are beautiful Dominic, thank you so much. You didn't have..."
He intereupted me, "But I wanted to, now how about dinner?"
"I'd love to Dominic." I paused "But no Patrón this time!"
We both laughed, "Deal," he replied. "Can I pick you up at eight tonight?"
"Eight is perfect. I'll see you then."
I squealed like a teenager that just got asked to prom by the hottest guy in school. I can't believe I agreed to see him! I'm going on a date tonight! Butterflies consumed my stomach... Why am I so nervous?
