Lights will guide you home,
You sat outside the dark gloomy cabin of the only Hades child. He hadn't been out in days, you were worried, frankly, I wouldn't blame you.
Your half sister Annabeth had convinced you to try and talk to Nico, so that's where you are. Waiting to knock on the door. You didn't know what to say when he opened up. You had been together for a few months, but it didn't cure your social awkwardness.
You stood up and faced the obsidian door. You reach your arm out to rap on the door and take a step back.
There was no sound. Dead silence.
Adrenaline coursed through you.
Is he okay? Did he do something? Is he....
You slowly open the door, afraid of what you'll see.
And Ignite your bones,
Your familiar dark-haired boy sat huddled in the corner, hands covering his face as sobs racked his thin torso. You slowly make your way to his small form.
"Nico?" You whispered.
He shook his head covering his face, "I can't do it. It's too much. I can't keep losing people, Bianca is gone, and now people keep ignoring me."
"Nico... I will never leave you."
He looked up at you, tears streaming down his pale cheeks and anger in his eyes, "You don't know that! Bianca promised me the same thing, now look where that got her!"
You walk over to your mysterious, pale boy, sit beside him and wrap your arm around his shoulder, "I'm so sorry Nico."
He buried his face into your shoulder and you gathered the broken boy into your arms, "I love you Neeks, I love you and promise to keep you safe, I never want to hurt you and I want to help you. I love you, I love you, I love you. And you never forget that."
Nico looked up into your (e/c) eyes, "I- I love you too (y/n)."
You kissed his forehead and held him tighter as he clung to you like you were the only thing anchoring him to the real world.
And I will try to fix you.
