"Clubs starts around 3:30. Some clubs ends on 5:30, but if it's the matter of basketball club, it generally ends just before dinner. Sometimes longer than that." Akashi explained to my question.
"I see." I nodded. "I understand a little better now."
Akashi has shown me around the school. Though, there're some parts of the school that an outside/guest like me wasn't allowed to enter.
Some stares went our way, the fact that I wasn't a student here might be the reason. Either way, I felt slightly uncomfortable about it and with the seemingly calm Akashi who didn't give a care, wasn't helping either.
Luckily, most people didn't give a care either and went about their way.
I stopped on my track as Akashi pushed the door open, creating a slight creaking sound that caused some people to looked our way.
"Sei-chan!" A seemingly flamboyant black haired boy wave toward Akashi. "Took you long enough!"
"I know." Akashi answered, walking towards them as I stop awkwardly not knowing what to do in this situation. "Where's coach?"
"Washroom." A silvernette answered.
"I see."Akashi nodded."What did coach tell you to do?"
"Pretty stranded stuff." A tall bulky tan guy with short black hair answered this time. "He just told us to keep playing. The school we'll play against tomorrow isn't going to be strong anyway, we could easily beat them!" The guy grinned.
"Yup, Easy-peasy." An orange haired boy with a pointed snaggle tooth added. "By the way, where is your friend?"
"She's right over there." Akashi replied and looked towards me.
All eyes were on me as I stayed in my current position nervously. Silence stayed among us till the orangehead decided to break it.
"Heh?! That's your friend?!" He cried. "She's cute!"
"Huh. I thought she's going to be the second manager." The tan guy said.
"It's not possible, idiot!" The raven-head replied as he slapped the tan guy's back.
"It might be." He retorted back as he rubbed his back.
Akashi silence them and called me over, which have been watching them amusedly, but at the mention of my name, I became nervous again.
I nodded my head and walked slowly towards them with hand holding my arm.
"Uh...hello." I smiled awkwardly at them. "I'm-"
"HI! I'm Hayama Kotarō!" The orange-head cut me off as he introduced himself. "Just call me Kotarō!"
"Um...H-hello Kotarō-kun-"
"Don't mind the idiot." The tan guy grinned as he pushed the orange-head whom I learn to be Hayama Kotarō. "I'm Nebuya Eikichi. Nice to meet you." He said as he loomed over me with his big figure which in result causing me to move back subconsciously.
"You're scaring her." It was the raven-head turn to speak. "I'm Mibuchi Reo, it's a pleasure to meet you." He smiled as let out a hand for me to shake.
I accepted his hand and shook it, returning the smile. "Pleasure to meet you too." I said then turning to everyone else. "Nice to meet all of you."
"Chihiro." Akashi called out resulting the silvernette to face him. "Do you want to introduce yourself to?"
"Yeah, sure." The silvernette said as he walked up to me. "Name's Mayuzumi Chihiro. Nice to meet you too."

After the introduction of people. Akashi told me to sit at the bench beside the manager whom later I learned to be Higuchi Shōta.
I was not sure what they were doing, but they seemed to be parted in 2 group of 3 and 2. Consisting Mayuzumi, Nebuya, and Mibuchi on the left side and Akashi and Kotarou on the right side. The manager threw the ball upward and with that the game started. Higuchi then returned to his seat and watched the game from the sidelines.
Nebuya's team made the first point with a 'muscle dunk'. It was funny how he shouted when he dunk in the ball. The game started to get faster then.
With all the comedy during the game such as how Nebuya adding the word muscle to everything and Mibuchi shouted and I quote. 'Stop adding Muscle on everything you do!', gave me a small laugh, but at the same time amazed to see most of the tricks they've pulled. Funny, It almost made me want to play basketball too, but I highly doubted that I could even score a point.
The game ended quite quickly with Akashi's team victory. It's a surprise to me how energetic they still despite having such intense match. they had a quick swig of water and walked up to the coach. Well, Akashi did.
"Hey!" Kotarou waved. "Did you see us play? Akashi and I totally slayed them!"
"Tch. You only won because you're teamed with Akashi." Nebuya grunted.
"Shut up. You're just jealous of my amazing skills." Kotarou teased.
"Skills my ass."
"Hey!"
"I have to agree with him on that one." Mibuchi commented.
"Heh? You too, Reo-nee?" Kotarou pouted. "What about you Mayuzumi-senpai? Do you think that too?"
"I don't really care." Mayuzumi answered, flipping through a book. "Think what you like."
"See Mayuzumi-senpai doesn't think that!"
"Idiot! He didn't say that either! "
"Um..." I mumbled as I started amusedly as I witness a very interesting scene before me.
Kotarou, just noticing my presence after a while turned to me with his eyes sparkling. "You don't think that, do you? I beat them because they suck not because I'm with Akashi right?"
"No! Tell him that he's the one who suck!" Nebuya retorted.
They stayed silent waiting for a reply to be heard from me, with Mibuchi's staring amusedly and Mayuzumi reading his book.
"..um..I wouldn't necessarily say suck." I answered slowly. "I think all of you are great. "
"Bu-"
"Kotarou, Eikichi" said A familiar redhead. "Come here for a sec."

Akashi called Kotarou and Nebuya for something, I'm not sure what, though, leaving me and Mayuzumi behind.
Why did Kotaro call Mayuzumi-san, senpai? Is he older than him?
"Mayuzumi-san. How old are you?" I asked to the silvernette who is currently reading his book.
"Sorry?" He asked back, I assumed not quite heard what I said.
"How old are you? I can't help but notice that Kotarou-kun called you senpai." I repeated clearer.
"I'm 18."
"Oh! I'm sorry to have been so disrespectful!" I apologized. "I just assume you're the same age as Akashi, with him being the captain and called you by your first name and all that. I'm sorry."
"It's fine." Mayuzumi said. "Akashi's actually the youngest among us."
"Huh? He's the youngest?"
"Yeah. He's 16. While the rest of us is either 17 or 18."
"I see." I nodded. "Thank you for the information senpai."
"Yeah sure." He said and got back to reading his book.
"Um..what are you reading?"
"A light novel."
"Can I see it?"
"Sure."
I looked at the book's cover as I opened the book and read through it quickly and gave it back to him.
"You're done reading?"
"No, I just scanned through it." I chuckled. "I'm not that fast of a reader."
"Huh. You're similar and at the same time not similar with Akashi." Mayuzumi said. " I suppose that's what make you guys attracted to each other."
"What do you mean by that?" I asked in confusion.
" what do I mean- aren't you dating him?"
"What? No! we're just friends!"
In all honestly, I'm not even sure what Akashi's to me. We spent some time together, we went on a date, but that was all an arrangement from our parents. It's not like they arranged a marriage for us so I'm not sure either. A friend will do, I guess.
"Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding then."
"It's fine."

Well.. you know it's time to introduce Akashi teammates right?
It's been like what? 13 chapters?
You could say, this book will be a long one.
The other day, my friend was saying how Akashi is just 'meh' and how Chihiro is 4x more 'hotter' than Akashi. (Just by a picture. She didn't watch the anime) And of course, I defend Akashi all my might, saying how the picture she saw was when he was a little bit....sadist(?) [It's true tho.] and more.
Akashi is absolutely beautiful. Don't you forget that! XD

Either way, Chihiro..might just be a 2nd rival or something. Idk let's just see. Probably not though.
