Percy fell backwards and I caught her.
Lou Ellen continued to chant.
The rest of the cabin was looking at us but they quickly vacated the cabin.
Wonder what that's about-
"Ahhh!!"
Percy's scream interrupted that thought.
Damn it. I can't wake her because that could interfere with whatever Lou Ellen is doing.
And yet she looks like she's in pain.
"Please!! No!!!!" Percy screamed again.
Well.
Guess we fixed the curse.
"Sh. It's okay. I've got you." I whispered in her ear.
Percy whimpered and turned towards me.
"I'm here baby girl."
She subconsciously wrapped her arms around me.
Her grip loosened then it tightened.
I bit my bottom lip. What was that for?
Yawning she let go of me and turned to look up at me.
"Hey Dad." She said in English.
I smiled and kissed her forehead.
"It worked. Thank..." I trailed off seeing the daughter of Hecate slumped, unconscious.
Percy slipped out of my arms and effortlessly picked her up and laid her on her bed.
"Well, better go make sure Nico hasn't killed them yet." She said.
I gave her a kiss on the head, "Go ahead."
My daughter smiled widely and rushed out.
Chuckling, I shook my head.
Kids.
Now what should I do?
I can go check on Triton but that would get me in some really awkward situation.
Like really really really awkward.
Eh. I'll just follow Percy.
But I'll do it secretly.
No it's not spying. I'm a) her dad and b) a god.
So it is not spying whatsoever.
I decided to transform into a seagull.
Cause why not?
Taking off I flew above Percy.
She walked to the arena, chatted with Nico, then Annabeth and Clarisse, gave Jack a quick kiss, and Sandy a hug.
Then she disappeared.
Where'd she go?
Maybe she went back to the cabin.
I flew back to my cabin before shifting back to my human form.
Walking inside I didn't see her.
Huh. I thought for shore (Heh. Puns) that she'd be in here.

Yeah. I'll do that.
Walking over to her trunk I pulled out a piece of clothing.
One of her old camp shirts.
This is something we can do if we don't want our children to know we are looking for them.
Cause if we are looking directly at them, experienced demigods can sense us.
But by using a piece of their clothing or something similar we can see them without them sensing.
Which is why so many pieces of clothing go missing.
Mainly socks from the dryer.
Closing my eyes I searched for my daughter.
She was sitting on a rock, looking out over the water. There were trees behind her. And naiads were playing.
She's by the canoe lake.
I vapor traveled to the canoe lake.
Only to see something I didn't notice before.
Tears were falling down her face, and she was trembling.
"He's dead. He can't hurt me." She mumbled.
I frowned and knelt next to her, pulling her against me in a hug.
She looked up at me with red rimmed eyes, filled with tears.
"H-hey Dad." Her voice shook.
"It's okay Percy. I'm here. You're safe." I whispered and she buried her face in my shirt.
I ran my fingers through her hair as she sobbed.
What in my brother's name happened?
"Percy...baby girl...please tell me." I pleaded.
She sniffed and burrowed deeper into my chest.
I closed my eyes and visualized my aura.
The sea green strands, mixed with gold, flowed randomly around me. Yes my aura of power is blue but my normal aura is different.
I could 'see' Percy's sea green aura; it was coiled tightly around her.
She's scared. No, she's terrified.
Controlling my aura, I gently used it to unwrap my daughter's.
I felt her tense at the manipulation.
I hugged her a bit tighter, letting her know she was okay.
Then I intertwined our two auras, using the excess to wrap around Percy.
She relaxed against my body, still crying but not as tense.
"Are you okay?" I asked tenderly.
She nodded.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
She shook her head.
I know there's no point in pushing it.
She's just as stubborn as me and she doesn't exactly conform to standards.
Kissing her head I smiled.
I just got an awesome idea.
Looking beside me, I can see it's a perfect distance.
"Hold onto me." I held onto her and stood before jumping in the lake.
She shrieked as we hit the water.
"Dad!!" She laughed slapping my arm playfully. We were at the surface of the lake by the way.
I held onto her waist and stared at my daughter.
Her eyes were bright, drawing power from the water.
But they had immense pain behind them.
I frowned. What is wrong with my daughter?
"Perseus Psyche Jackson. Just tell me." I said as sternly as I could, along with giving the dad look.
She sighed and closed her eyes.
Wrapping her arms around my neck she leaned her head against my chest.
Maybe I can ask Sally if she doesn't answer.
It obviously has to be bad if she's reacting like this.
I let the two of us sink to the bottom of the lake.
Once we were settled on the bottom, I ordered the fish and naiads to leave us alone.
"You can tell me. It's just us." I said laying with Percy still snuggled against my chest.
Percy looked up at me and seemed to debate something.
Eventually she spoke.
"When I- when I first met you I was scared. Not just because of everything to do with the Bolt and that stuff."
"Truthfully, I wasn't really all that comfortable with guys. Grover was one of the first I trusted then Chiron."
My eyebrows furrowed.
"But then when I met you...all that came rushing back. Suddenly I couldn't be near any guy without Annabeth."
Why?
"Percy..." I said softly.
"Now I'm fine with guys. Well. Most of them."
"Percy, what happened?"
Closing her eyes, she grabbed ahold of my hands.
"My first step-father...he would hurt me."
Sup guys?
Again. I love writing father daughter stuff.
Even though I have no experience with it.
School starts Thursday. So...yay.
