We didnt know where we were going but that didnt bother anyone because at that point in time everything seemed perfect we were happy and that's all that mattered we were getting along and in a long time I laughed and really laughed it feel so strange but so good I like this feeling and I sure do hope it lasts
"And you still ate it even though they told you what was in it ?"Ella asked getting more intrigued as Shane spoke
"It tasted amazing I wasn't going to let it go to waste" Shane shrugged while smiling
"Eww that's disgusting Shane'' Ella said holding her stomach laughing
"You should have been there you would have liked it"
"Yeah no so what about you Leo anything weird you've eaten" Ella said wiping her tears away
"Actually yeah" "I think I was 16 and it was entrepreneur's day me and high tower here had to make something that could benefit people so we decided to make food" I looked at Shane and all our childhood memories flood through my mind
"We were amazing chef if I do say myself" He said I nodded
"Yeah..uhm so we decided to make....uhm what was it called again"
"Shaleo's smile deluxe" He said laughing and shaking his head
"What was wrong with us" I joined him
"What wasn't wrong with us" He shrugged
"True" I haven't spoken to Shane so decently since I don't even know when , us talking about our childhood made me remember how me and him were so close we were like brothers and now I don't even know how he thinks anymore
Madison's P.O.V.
I watched how Leonardo and Shane went back and forth in conversation now it was no longer a group discussion I was happy though those two never get along or well not anymore that is , I remember a time where there was no fights and they got along it was the life
I looked over to Nevaeh who was laughing and smiling with the two , she turned her head to face Leo and smiled it was obvious that something was going between the two or something was going to happen they have such a unique connection and it seemed the more they fought the more they got closer I won't lie I'm actually happy that Nevaeh entered our lives she's done so much for us that's why this trip is in order
After a driving for plus minus 2 hours we stopped I looked up and it was dark I couldn't make out where we were
"We're are here" Paris said looking back at us , we all looked at each other in confusion and got out the car we were in what seemed like a forest but we still couldn't see where we were
"Uh Paris where are we" Nathan said , I couldn't see him but I could hear his voice
"Oh yeah silly me" Paris said and she opened the car , started the car and put on the lights
"Oh my" Nevaeh breathed walking towards everyone and to where the light was shining we were looking over a huge dam and in the distance there was lights shining , "Camping anyone" she smiled lifting up two sticks in her hand
We all laughed and helped Neveah gather up sticks we made a fire and gathered up blankets from the car layed them around the fire then we turned off the car so that the battery doesn't end I can't image how it would be like if the car couldn't start up
Nevaeh's P.O.V.
We sat around the fire with smiles , the air was filled with laughter and joy all our problems and worries were drowned away by the warmness and homey feel of the crackling fire and for the first time in a while there was no place I'd rather be
"This is feels nice" Paris said smiling , we all nodded and smiling because she was right it did feel nice
"I want to tell you about my past or at least how I ended up there" Paris said looking down into her hands
"Paris" I said and she lifted her head, "You don't have to tell us honestly"
"I dont have to but I.... I want to and I know you guys are the last people who would judge me"
"Paris are you sure" I said looking at Ella and Madison who were on my right
"Yeah Paris this is a big thing" Ella said looking at Nathan who shrugged and placed his hand on her shoulder , she gave us a small smile and nodded
"Well I guess if you want to we can't really stop you" I looked at Leonardo and he gave me a reassuring smile and tucked in a strand of hair behind my ear
"Well it all started when I was a child...about..when I was.....6....I wasn't like other children heck I'm still not like other people as you might of noticed I.....I preferred staying in my room reading or just anything else that didn't include talking with people you could say I was a loner" she sighed I could see how hard this was for her Ella intertwined her fingers with Paris and squeezed them lightly "Anyway" she sighed again and shook her head
"One Saturday morning , 6th of March 2004 to be exact I woke to an empty to house and a note saying 'Life is full of disappointments' guess I was a disappointment because that day my parents left me and ran and they never looked back I.... I ended up going to an orphanage but from that day on I made a promise to myself to never trust anyone or better yet not to speak to anyone because that's how people hurt you" She said and a tear fell from her cheeks
"But I guess I'm breaking that promise because I trust all of y'all and I'm speaking" She wiped away her tears and threw her head back and laughed , "I feel like a whole weight has been somehow lifted....y'all guys should try it" She smiled and breathed out
"Well I guess if Paris can tell her story I can tell mine" Nathan smiled , scratching his head awkwardly
"Okay it happened when I was 16 so about two years ago I had it all or at least that's my sister always said....uhm I used to play soccer/football whatever you call it and I used to come home late alot anyway me and my team were practicing late that day because championships were comming up" he sighed and ruffled up his hair
"So we finished up late around 7 or 8 got in my car dropped of my bestfriend at his house down the street and drived home I don't know what made me look at my phone but I did and I saw 3 missed calls from my sister and 5 from my mom and naturally I got scared so I stepped on the gas , when I arrived everything seemed okay but then I noticed the door was wide open when I got out the car , I found my mother and sister laying in a pool of blood there and my father holding a blood dripping knife" He sniffed and joined his hands together squeezing the hard , "My brother was right for my father it was all about the money" Tears fell from his cheeks
"He killed your mother and sister for money" Ella asked and I shot her a glare and she shrugged
He chuckled and folded his arms "It's okay Nevaeh but yes Ella my father killed them for money , he always said they were a liability I just regret not taking them out sooner" He said nodding , reassuring himself
"I cant go after that" Madison said and we laughed
"You can and you are" I said taking her hand in mine and giving her a reassuring smile
"I was abused by my uncle's wife she used to hit me everyday especially when her kids did better than me in almost everything I hated her and I still do so one day when she was beating me silly I fought back but it was the biggest mistake of my life she locked me in the attic the cold dark attic and threw away the key" Her voice was becoming shaky and tears were starting to form , "She blocked all of the windows and forms of exit I was terrified of the dark and she left me there and now I have insomnia because I'm scared that...that the darkness will consume me" She said sighing
"I don't know about all of y'all but this is starting to get too deep and way too emotional" Ella said wiping tears from her eyes , I looked around and it seemed everyone was upset and had tears on the brim of their eye's

"Too bad cause your next" Leonardo said giving her a cocky smile
She rolled her eyes and sighed , "My father was in the mafia he was evil , heartless , greedy and blood driven when he wanted something he got it , he wasn't the greatest father he would always shower me with whatever I wanted so I never annoyed him anyway one afternoon I walked in on him beating up a guy and then he forced me the gun on me and said I must finish him off"
"You killed a man" Shane said in disbelief
"I had a gun to my head what was I suppose to do" Ella looked up at Shane and I could see the rage in her eyes
"Tell him no you should have stood up for yourself"
"Dude really you weren't there that night so you can't judge her heck your the last person who should judge people" Leonardo said his veins popping from the back of his neck , I grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly he relaxed a bit then turned to face me and gave me a small smile
"Anyway enough about me what you Veah" Ella said and everyone turned to look at me ,"Actually nevermind forget I asked" She said scratching the back of her head
"No I'm no different from the rest of y'all I'm not special and I think its time for me to tell you about my past" I said
"Our grandparents raised us because our parents died in car accident well that was after they abandoned us on their door step but then our Aunt and Uncle took us in when we started high school , we were both struggling with rejection and abandonment issues so we took it to ourselves to do better in everything to basically fill the void we had , we were popular but I didnt like the spotlight as much as Nirvana did and one day he dragged me to a party everything was okay"
"But he got drunk and tried to drive home , it was the first time I saw him like that and it freaked me out I was so scared he would loose his temper and do something to me...anyway I drove and in the car we had an argument and....I...I didnt see it coming...I was too focused on myself and not enough on him...that I didnt see it coming" I said starring into the darkness as tears fell from my cheeks
"The truck slammed into us and we spun and landed in Ashbrooke lake I tried waking him up but he wasn't responding , the windscreen was broken so water came in quickly I lost consciousness and woke up in hospital in the moring , everyone hated me and I was to be prosecuted but my Aunt Beth convinced everyone that I wasn't mentally stable so I got sent to the institution" I let go of a breathe that I didn't know I was holding
"You were right Ella this is too deep and way too emotional" I laughed and wiped a tear
"Well Leo will I be telling the story or will you" Shane said facing Leo
"We have two separate stories Shane" Leonardo said clenching his jaw
"Leo stop" I whispered in Leonardo's ear grabbing his arm tightly , he looked back and I gave him a stern look and he sighed
"Go ahead" Leonardo said rolling his eyes
"One day Leo and I were playing basketball when our friend Jace came to us , he was one crazy one crazier that me and Leo combined anyway he came and told us about buying and selling some goods to earn some extra cash I hesitated but Leonardo didn't he jumped in because well things weren't going so well at home heck things weren't going well in both our himes anyway I agreed after they persuaded me they were damn good so I couldn't have said no , things were going good we had earned a lot of money but Jace got greedier he wanted more so he started buying and selling drugs it was too risky Leonardo and I didn't approve so we stopped selling altogether"
"I didn't force you , you had a choice and you made your choice Shane" Leonardo mumbled underneath his breath but Shane didnt hear anything
"Anyway long story short Jace framed us and told Rameriez that we stole the money the money that he had stole" Shane said and a tear fell from his cheeks
"That bastard killed my sister in front of me and killed Leo's grandparents in front of him" Leonardo shook his head and then placed his arm around Shane's shoulder
"It's okay bro" Leonardo said and for the first time I saw a different side to him a more down to earth caring side
"Well on that note who wants marshmallows" I stood up wiping a tear from my face
"I would die for a Marshmallow" Ella said jumping up as Madison and Paris followed Ella to the car
"I'll go get the sticks" Nathan said and Shane followed behind me after Shane and Leo gave each other a hug
"Thank you" Leonardo said from behind me as I looked into the darkness
"For what ?"
"For keeping me calm we all know that would have ended up badly" He said shoving his hands in his pockets
"I keep you sane and you make me insane so I guess we're even" I shrugged and smiled
"Are you two love birds done talking I'm hungry here" Ella said shaking the chips around
"Yeah hurry up" Paris laughed and we walked back to the fire . We spent the whole night laughing and eating and when the fire died down so did we
