Sarah's POV

As I walked to the studio, my phone started to ring. I looked down and sighed. Whoever this is has been calling me since the party the other night. I sighed when I finally decided to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hi, is this Sarah Walters? A.K.A. Sunny?"

"Yes," I said hesitantly.

"I'm glad I could finally reach you. My name is John Louis. I am the PR Manager for Jeremy Jordan. I have listened to every song you have ever put out and I can not find one I don't like. My niece is obsessed with you! She has all of your cd's. She even has every magazine article that has ever featured you."

"Wait," I said interrupting him. "I'm sorry, but did you say Jeremy Jordan? No offense but why is the PR Manager for Hollywood's Jeremy Jordan calling me?"

"Oh! Right!" He laughed. "I was wondering if you were free for lunch today? I have a proposition for you and it wouldn't be very professional to offer it to you over the phone. So, what do you say?"

I was taken back by his vague offer. "Oh, umm. Okay."

"Great. How about 1 o'clock at Carmine's?"

"That's right down the street so that's perfect. Umm I'll see you at one," I said before hanging up. I stared at my phone in my hand, unable to comprehend that conversation. "What the hell just happened?"

"What?" Max's voice startled me. "Geez girl," he laughed when he saw me jump. "Didn't mean to scare you."

I finally put my phone away as I got my notebook out of my purse. "So, kiddo. What was that call about?"

"Oh umm, I have a meeting with John Louis this afternoon."

"John Louis? You mean Jeremy Jordan's PR Manager?" Max said in a singsongy voice as he wiggled his eyebrows.

"How do you know John Louis is Jeremy Jordan's manager?" I asked folding my arms across my chest.

"He may or may not have called the studio a least a down times and left half-a-dozen voicemails asking for you. And I may or may not have given him your cell."

"What?" I ran my fingers through my hair before throwing a pillow from the couch at his head.

"Come on Sarah! Think about it. He said he had an offer that could potentially help you get into the movie business."

"Wait, what? He. . . He said that?" Max nodded before turning back to the computer. I bit my lip as I headed into the booth and put the headphones on.

"If you want my love
He gotta do what he does
If you want these sweet like sugar Gucci lips
He gotta give it up
I know you think I'm cool
But I ain't one of the boys
No, don't be scared that I'm gon' tie you down
I need a little more

Baby, don't call me your friend
If I hear that word again
You might never get a chance to see me naked in your bed
And I know girls ain't hard to find
But if you think you wanna try
Then consider this an invitation to kiss my ass goodbye

Give me that title, title
Come on give me that title, title
Better give me that title, title
Come on give me that title, title

If it ain't no game
I won't be hanging around
But don't blow up my shit at 3 AM saying
"How you need me now?"
Don't call me boo
Like you're some kind of ghost (which you're a ghost)
If you don't want me seeking other guys
Well, here's what you need to know

Baby, don't call me your friend
If I hear that word again
You might never get a chance to see me naked in your bed
And I know girls ain't hard to find
But if you think you wanna try
Then consider this an invitation to kiss my ass goodbye

Give me that title, title
Come on give me that title, title
Better give me that title, title
Come on give me that title, title

Yeah, said I'm a special kind of woman
I'm loving what you got, but I'm hating what you doing
Gotta understand that I'm looking for a man
Who can get up on a bike, look ma, no hands
You gotta show me off, off
But you embarrassed, if that's the case I'm all gone
You gotta treat me like a trophy, put me on the shelf
I promise something else

Baby, don't call me your friend
If I hear that word again
You might never get a chance to see me naked in your bed
And I know girls ain't hard to find
But if you think you wanna try
Then consider this an invitation to kiss my ass goodbye

Give me that title, title
Come on give me that title, title
Better give me that title, title
Come on give me that title, title, yeah

Give me that title, title
Come on give me that title, title
Better give me that title, title
Come on give me that title, title, yeah ."

I ran through that song, along with a few others. Before I knew it, it was 12:45. "Good luck at your meeting," Max teased as I got ready to leave the studio. Before I left, I sent him a loving smile with my middle finger raised.
